Every time i log on to my computer i get an error message MSVCR.dll
itunes wont open and i dont want to lose all the music his happen after a recent failed update can any thoughts
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Find out what that third party software the kext file belongs to and update or use the developers method to uninstall the third party software responsible for it.
I suspect it's a iTunes extension perhaps?
You also can use the manual method of Finder > Go > Computer and opening your drive, then your System/Library/Extensions folder and looking for the file and moving it out onto the desktop, you will need to be in Admin user and use your password, then reboot to clear the random access memory. However this method doesn't remove the parent program you still need to do that.
How to uninstall/install software on your Mac
The kext file wasn't loaded, so it's not running, but removing it from the Extensions folder or uninstalling what put it there will solve your notification problem as that's all it appears to be. -
I keep trying to burn a CD-R in Iphoto, and every time iPhoto stops burning halfway through and i get this error message, "Attemp to burn a disc failed. Burn failed due to a medium write error." I am using memorex CD-R's and have tried with 4 times with different CD's. Is this a software or hardware problem? Any info would be awesome
Export the photos to a desktop folder, right click on the folder and burn to disk - see if that is any different

Every time I try to convert a PDF document to a Word document, everything is fine until I hit the "save" button and then I get an error message that says that internet explore is not working. I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble. Please try the following steps:
Clear your Internet Explorer Browser Cache
Update Flash Player to the latest version by visiting: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If both those options fail, see if the issue persists in another browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome

Every time I connect my my iPod or iPad to my laptop I get the error message "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later" There is no problem with my internet connection and syncing then seems to occur OK. I upgraded to iOS 5 recently but have been getting the problem for several months. Due to recent problems with iCloud I am now concerned that this may be something significant that could lead to my losing data.

My email is not working properly, I can receive emails but I cannot send them. Every time I try to send an email an error message appear saying "The recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying". There used to be no problem with my email it has only come up recently. Also, my Internet works fine. I have tryed restoring my iPad to factory settings but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix it?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

Every time I try to download an app, i get an error message
So basically, everytime i try to download an app, i get an error message.
After that, i also get a message saying to contact the apple support crew.
I cannot download any apps and this has been going on for a while...

Hello again. Thanks again for the help with my earlier catastrophe. I am quite comfortable with the old sofware/app/operating system/version, sorry I do not know the correct term. However, every time I log into I Tunes now, I get blocked form doing anything unless I agree to download the newest version. After losing my library for 15 hours and dubiously trying to recover it on my own, you all came to the rescue. I have a lap top running windows 8 and this old desktop running windows 7. With me not knowing which of the two accounts is assigned to this desk top, I do not wish to lose my content again. Even if authorizing two users will solve the prob. Is there a way to just keep the old version and bypass the download new version now screen? Call me Old Fashioned.:)
Open the Options dialog and go to the General tab.
Check the setting "When Firefox Starts:" and make sure it is set to "Show my home page" -
my macbook is loaded with microsoft word for macs and every time I try and open the program I get an error reading and it will not open. This is what it says:

Maybe the preferences file is corrupted. You should be able to find the Word preferences file in the folder:
your user name/Library/Preferences
Its name is com.microsoft.Word.plist
I suggest you drag this another folder and try Word again.
If that doesn't work then you might find clearing the cache files will fix the problem. You can do this manually but I never bother. Instead I use a program like Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner (shareware) or Onyx (free). These programs do lots of other maintenance jobs so it's worth having at least one of them.

1. Quit ADE.
2. Choose Start > Run.
3. In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
4. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
5. Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.
6. In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.
Your authorization will be deleted.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again. -
Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. I cannot print documents from word 7 to acrobat either and the acrobat printer doesn't show on my printer selection. I downloaded Acrobat reader 11 and it will not read pdf documents. How do I fix?
