Every time I open my iTunes and go to Store it stops working... HELP!

Hello, every time I open my iTunes and try to go to Store, it stops working.
It had happened even when I am just listening music, not in the store.
I have Windows 7.
Anybody?? Thanks a lot!

    It can be so perplexing getting error messages when we are just beginning to launch a program. There is a pretty in depth Knowledge Base article that dives into many of the meanings to particular error numbers. See here:

    Under "Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows)" there is the following explanation and guidelines to getting that issue resolved:
    "Error 3001,"  "-42110," or "5103"
    This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
    Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
    If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.

    Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

    If no joy...
    Reset all settings
    Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
    This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
    If the issue persists...
    Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

    Tap Settings > General > Date and Time > Set Automatically > Off. Set the date one year ahead. Then try to access the App Store.
    It may be a connection issue. Try changing your DNS settings to Google’s open DNS by tapping Settings > Wi-Fi >, tap the blue arrow next to your current Wi-Fi network, and then tap the “DNS” field and enter the DNS servers; 8.8.8.8 (Google’s Public DNS, 8.8.4.4 also alternate).

    I got similar situation sadly. I am using Vista Home 32-bit, as I open itunes everything seems to be fine, yet after a moment of using it or instantly after closing the itunes I receive Blue Screen.  I unistalled my itunes and other Apple applications, deleted the files, installed newest version yet it did not helped.
    Edit : I found out that my computer crashed because of Apple Mobile Device support process, when I unistalled it the problems are gone, though I am not fully satisfied with such solution but Itunes do not cause computer crash now while using or exiting. Before doing so I updated all drivers on the computer, yet update did not changed anything.

    I was on my iPod and soon figured out that iTunes and Google-related apps weren't working. iTunes kept telling me I 'might be on a server pretending to be iTunes' and won't let me use it. When I open the App store, it tells me that it cannot connect to iTunes. Also, any apps I have that are Google related are on the fritz. My Google Drive won't allow me to view my documents, write new ones, or rename them. It says I'm not connected to the Internet... but I am.   • Itunes is opening a brand new itunes every time i open my itunes.....

    hi guys..
    my itunes has just started doing this lately and i dont know why!
    when i open itunes its not opening my itunes, it opens a fresh one every time and launches the getting started tutorials too, all my settings have been reset and when i try sync my ipod it says its synced with a different itunes. I put all the settings back to the way i have them and re sync my ipod to this itunes, but soon as i exit itunes and run the program again it opens a new itunes again!
    iv tried reinstalling it and got the new update but still doing it.

    WOW! Thanks to all who directed me to Sony for this issue. I have downloaded the update http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2715 (which by the way would not run for the first few times stating it was an update for Vista even though I chose the Windows 7 OS and the page showed was for 7.) I have rebooted about 4 times so far and everything is still in iTunes. Oh thank you all.... BTW I had my computer in with the Sony Backstage guys for a tune up a few months ago and I explained this issue to them. They had no idea and recommended I go over to the Apple store in the Mall. I would think they should be versed on various software related issues which can create trouble for users of their products just as they are versed in the nuts and bolts of how to save this, and move that, and make backup disks, and read my email. : ) Keeping my fingers crossed.
    All this technology conflict.... Can't we all just get along???

    The folder with all my music in it is located on my desktop. I've had it like this for years now with never a problem.
    Up until the most recent update, my library is gone everytime I open my iTunes.
    Thankfully I saved my playlists to text documents, but it is becoming an enormous bother now to keep re-adding them.
    I've searched the forums to no avail - anyone have any advice for me?

    I updated my Facebook application thru iTunes update system,once I did this and it finished the update I tried to log onto Facebook it opens then closes ..     Do a search on the site and you will find many posts.
    I deleted the FB app, power cycled the device (home and reset button until Apple logo appears), then reinstalled the app. Worked for me.

    What is the exact wording of the error message?
    Maybe this:

    Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
