Every time I reset Safari, I have to re-sign into the iTunes and App stores. Related or coincidence?
It seems that every time I reset Safari, I have to reestablish credentials with the App and iTunes Store. Are there cache or web site data files that are common to all three of those applications?
Currently using Safari 7 with OS 10.9.
Thanks, Bee. I reset my browsers on quitting as a matter of course, Most other browsers allow this in a preference setting, but I have a macro for Safari which resets it before quitting. I've noted that the problem is not Safari's alone -- any cache cleaner, like NetShred -- seems to have the same effect. I suppose I was questioning the linkage, though. I would have thought that store credentials would be treated differently than browser cookies and cache files. The cleaners I've used so far allow you to add disparate files to the cleaning routine. I haven't yet found one that allows you to say, "Don't touch that one..." I'll keep looking.

I upgraded to Yosemite and honestly starting to regret it my computer is sluggish even after the iCloud encryption and now I have the constant problem of my computer signing me out of my websites and I have to sign in every time I close safari. My browser also keeps needing certification, GMAIL thinks I'm an intruder because I have to verify identification for every use .. It's very annoyingSafari/Preferences/Privacy - make sure it is set up to accept cookies.

Just bought a new iPhone and am having trouble with iTunes and App Store. I can log in to Cloud, iTunes, and app store but once I try to download, it says "Youe apple id has been disabled". I've reset my password three times and have no issue on my Pad.

I have a slow startup or login, with numerious spinning wheels. Sometimes after a long ti,e I can sign into the computer and sometimes it just fails to startup or login. I have a MacBookPro OS X 10.7.5 from 2011. It became more serious recently as I think I might have let my battery run out I also tried to download the operating system to reinstall it but it allways stops around 1.4 GB out of 1.7 then the whell starts again.
Keep the MBP attached to the power adapter.

Then try to boot the MBP in recovery (OPTION key down) and select the recover partition. Select Disk Utility>First Aid and verify and repair the HDD.

I am updating my phone to the newest IOS and it has been doing it for hours. I have now plugged it into the computer and it says that it is in recover mode and I should restore it? What does that mean? Do I lose everything on my phone? Is there anything else I can do?
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

My kids now each have an itouch, should we all have different apple ids even if I am paying for all itunes and app store purchases? what about icloud? I would like to share itunes and app purchases, but not necessarily photos...help please!
The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

For some reason the Apple ID window in iTunes and App Store now seems to suddenly have a character number constraint which prevents me using my 29 character Apple ID. As a result I am unable to enter the final few characters of my Apple ID which I have had for many years. Does anyone know what has caused this?

so i was trying to redeem a movie today and when i got to itunes and clicked redeem it asked me to sign in and i did and it said this. the apple I.D cannot be used for the itunes store. Can somebody plz help
I did notice that you said everything you have obtained you've legally bought. Because if there was anything in there that you didn't buy with your AppleID but WAS purchased with another AppleID this will happen.
If this is not the case their is a possible issue with your account. Only reason I say this is because it's happening on both of your computers. So both of them have the exact same library? Do you have another computer you can sign into the itunes store that has none of your content on it and if so does it continue to happen?
Have you tried un-installing and re-installing itunes? Are you up-to-date on both versions of iTunes?
If there is an issue with your AppleID you might need to contact Apple and get an RTA sent to SSE(Site Support Engineering) to troubleshoot your account. -

I have enabled iTunes and App Store fingerprint authentication on the iPhone 5s. However I still receive a prompt for my Apple ID password vs my Fingerprint. Any way to resolve this?

I have windows 8 and for some reason every time I try to log into the creative cloud app on my computer it tells me I have been signed out and it brings me back to the log in page. Since I have my account through my school I can't download the program again (I think that's how it works) any suggestions?

I have a family Apple ID associated with my iMac and iPad for iTunes and Apps and then two new iPhone 5s each which use a personal Apple ID for email and the family Apple ID for iTunes and Apps. Can I use iTunes Match on the iPhones given there are two Apple IDs "loaded" on the iPhone?
