You have to go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and uncheck the phone number and delete/uncheck the email address that you share with the other phone. If you do not already have a different email address add one to the Send and Receive .

I have searched through the FAQs and find stuff on "crashing". I have not had any trouble with flash crashing, but I can't keep it installed.
If I install flash, then it stays as long as I am logged in, even if I close firefox. Once I log out and log back in, I lose Flash and have to re-install it.I was having the same issue with installing Flash player 10.3.183.10 in both Firefox 6.0.2 and Explorer 9 -- the Task Manager would show the installer running as a process, but it would never actually install anything. It would just sit there until I killed it or rebooted.
It seems that there are multiple versions of the separate installers needed. The installer that worked for me in Firefox was
install_flash_player_10.exe -- a 3,017KB file
and for Explorer, it was:
install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe -- a 3,054KB file.
Neither of those files was sent by the main updater page, nor did that page offer the 239KB uninstall_flash_player.exe, which is needed to uninstall the previous Flash version before one can even begin to try to update it. I had to pound through the messages in the forums to find links to those "full" installers.
It is working now in both browsers, but jeepers creepers, it shouldn't take all day to find the installers for something that gets updated as often as Flash does. -
I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to use it on the t mobile network. The thing is, I've tried restoring the phone so I could use it. I haven't tried my sim on other phones yet. But I will try to see if it works. The iPhone is supposedly factory unlocked btw. Anyways, when I put in my tmobile sim, it searches for the service, but it always ends up saying NO SERVICE. I checked that my network says that the "phone not allowed". So I don't have 3G on this phone I presume. I heard that you need 3G to have service is that correct? But how do I resolve it? The iPhone does know that my phone carrier is tmobile. It just says no service. And I've tried restoring it three times and turning it off and on and it won't work. I don't have a data plan for tmobile tw! Hopefully someone can help! Thank you so much in advance!
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Regarding iMessage, when i want to send text to a person in my contacts app, i've been getting a message saying the number has not been registered with iMessage. How can one fix this problem? It works on the iPhone.
It takes two to tango, maybe it's your recipient that has weak Internet/Cellular connections.

What if I have an iPhone and its sends/recieves messages with our apple id which is my moms email? How do I fix that so that when I text my friends it doesn't show up with my moms email but my number?

You can send and receive Messages from the Apple IDs and phone numbers signed in to your iMessage section in the settings of your phone. We have an article that explains a little bit about this, and it can be found here:

This section is the most appropriate for your situation:
You can change the address that new iMessage conversations are started with in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Start new conversations from:. Note that this setting applies only to new conversations. If you would like to change the address from which messages are sent, first change this setting, and then delete the existing conversation and start a new one.
iMessage responses will be sent from the address the recipient most recently messaged. For example, a friend sends you a message to your Apple ID. Responses in this conversation will be sent from your Apple ID, even if you've selected new conversations to start from your phone number.

I accidentally linked my wife's phone number with mine. Now I am getting MY text messages that I send to her. It even says my texts are from her. How can I fix it?
You can't "link" phone numbers but you can, and did add her email address to your iMessage send/receive list. This often happens when you both use the same Apple ID
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > you can be reached by iMessage at >
Settings > Messages > Send and Receive > start mew conversations from ?
You are receiving your own messages because the same email address is on both lists -
Every time I restart my mac air some applications like calendar and Microsoft word automatically starts, how can I stop such applications from starting when ever I restart my mac?
One thing to check: when shutting down or restarting, there is a checkbox in the shutdown/restart dialog which asks whether you want currently open applications to open at startup.

I have iTunes, latest version, open in Windows XP and get an error 45048 message when I try to update apps thru the store. How can I fix this? I have reinstalled iTunes twice but problem continues.
Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again. -

Did your wife tick the box on the Yahoo sign in page to remember her for two weeks?
It would be best two have two separate Firefox profile folders, one for each of you to prevent such problems.<br />
Then you also do not have problems with deleting or changing bookmarks.

Every time I send a text message on my ipad, a little bubble appears with a picture in it, how do I change that?
You can't remove the bubble. You can remove the picture. Launch the contacts app and locate your own contact information. Tap the edit button at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the the picture associated with your contact and tap remove photo or change photo or whatever you want to do ... From the pop up menu. Tap Done when you are finished.

When anyone sends me a Word document via email as an attachment and I attempt to print it out, my printer always spits out a blank page. All Word documents seem to arrive using Times New Roman font. I must then return to the document, select all, reassign a different font, and it then prints okay. How can I fix this? It appears that Times New Roman font is part of my Font Book, and each version of the font (Italic, etc.) appears there in duplicate.

Open the Font Book again, select the Times New Roman font set.
You'll see the duplicate warning. Select the fonts and go up to the EDIT menu,
and go down to RESOLVE DUPLICATES.
You might check for other duplicates while you're there, and resolve them.
RESTART your Mac to have the changes take effect.
Then try your docs again.
