I can't use icloud to sync my iPhone or iPad. The iCloud backup works but when I check out the Itunes Wi-Fi sync on the phone it keeps listing that sync will resume when my old mobileme username is available. My iCloud username is an different email address an the same one I use for my itunes account.
I can still sync using iTunes and the USB connection and then the date and time on my phone is correct.

Hi, I have lost all data from itunes on my computer, is there a way to re-sync or get all the data from my phone and ipad 2 back to itunes on the computer as when I go to sync message appears saying this phone is sync to a different itunes library and it will clear my phone if i continue. can any one help please?
These devices will sync with one computer at a time. When you sync to a new one, then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy of your old computer to move everything over.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your devices. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You will need to enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the new computer as well, otherwise that content will be erased as well. If you have a unique entry, then you should get the option to merge the data.
Hopefully you have your backup copy of your old computer and will not have to go through this. -

Every time I sync my iPhone 4S or iPad 1 with iTunes I am asked to authorize my computer again knowing that I have 2 Apple accounts and both of them are already authorized.
Tks for your helpPlug your phone up to your computer in itunes... click on devices, then your iphone, at the top of your itunes, beside of summary you will see photos, click on photos... untick or uncheck the albums you don't want on your device then sync... you can do the same for vidoes, music etc...

Every time I sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes the number of my custom ring tones change. I have 7 custom ring tones listed. The first time it will load 1 of the ring tones and the next time it will load 3, The next time it will be back to 1. If I have assigned one of the custom ring tones and it does not get loaded it goes back to the ring tone that came with the phone. The last time itunes gave me 4 of the 7 so I have not tried to sync it again. I am using iTunes 10 (10.4.10), and windows 7.
Has anyone else had this problem??
Any ideas to what I need to do??Have you ever had all 7 of them synced before? Are these ringtones you made yourself? Is there a chance they could exceed 30 seconds in length? Is there a chance you have moved the original file location on the computer? May need the answers to a couple more questions to try and determine an answer.

HT204406 playlists on iMac won't sync to iPhone and iPad correctly
Half of the playlists as well as random songs won't transfer over to the iphone and ipad. longtime itunes account, only one user id ever, 7000+ songs; new imac, ipad 3 and iphone 4s. plenty of space, and all running latest iOS. I have tried updating Match, turning it off and on at all 3 devices; I see other people have had similar problems, but not the exact one I'm having; any ideas what the problem is, and how do i fix it so i can get my playlists from the iMac to my iphone? i prefer to create and edit playlists on the big screen of the iMac;
You have to sign out cmpletely on all your devices and sign back in with the new ID.
On a Mac: System Preferences>iCloud and click 'Sign out'.
On an iOS device: Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete account' (this will not delete the account from the server, just unlink your device from it.
Your synced iCloud data will disappear when you sign out but will reappear (give it time) when you sign back in. -

Every time I sync my iPhone with iPhoto I end up getting duplicate photos on my iPhone. The other problem is that I can not delete the dups on my iPhone. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.

You can create, rename, and delete albums on iPhone to help you organize your photos and videos.
Create a album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done. Note: Albums created on iPhone aren’t synced back to your computer.
Rename an album Tap Edit, then select an album.
Rearrange albums Tap Edit, then drag up or down.
Delete an album Tap Edit, then tap the delete sign.
Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!! -

Every time I sync my Iphone 5c(with ios 8) to Itunes, it 1. deletes all of my purchased music 2. deletes all of my album artwork 3. replaces all of my deleted songs. please help! this is driving me crazy! It syncs 100+ songs, when I only want to sync 1! I'm running Itunes 11.3.1.2
After having experienced similar problems and having it back to work, I have a few suggestions:
- Try to find out if the syncing stops at a particular track or song. That might - out of the blue - have gotten corrupted in one way or another. Since that song will not be on the iPod, iTunes will try over and over to put it on and crash in one way or another;
- reformat the iPod as described in the iTunes 9 crash-thread. It takes time (at first it seems to do nothing, but that is because the green bar is moving with very small steps);

Have you copied your content over from your old computer and onto the new on ? If not, and you still have your old computer, then there a number of methods described on this page which you can use to copy your library over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 . If you no longer have your old computer then have you got a backup of your content that you can copy onto the new computer and add into iTunes ?
