    Do other apps connect to the internet on the iPod e.g. Safari ? If they do then try logging out of your account on the iPod by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

    Change your password and this will reset your email.

  • HT4436 Every time I try to access my icloud account it tells me Verifying, then it says, Unable to Verify account.  What did I do wrong?

    I bought my iPad several months ago and I thought I set up my iCloud account correctly but I may not have, as I was fairly new to this venture.
    Every time I try to access it, it tells me, Verifying and after a little while it tells me Unable to Verify Account, so I guess I don't have something right.
    This is Problem (1)
    Problem (2) is,  I can't add Contacts to my Contacts APP.  Now I asked a Person at the ATT store where I purchased my iPad, she showed me what
    to do, I said that was easy enough, and when I got home I went to my tablet and My APP did not have a (+) Sign at the bottom of the page like hers
    did, and hers looked so easy.  Is my CONTACT APP not downloaded correctly, or is it an old version? Because it came on my Tablet already?  So How do I
    ADD my Contacts?

    Thank you for heading me in the right direction.  I reset my Mail account for Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net:(customer ID)@att.net (instead of smtp.att.yahoo.com, per Apple's online troubleshooting information).   I'm not sure what "(Offline)" means when it appears at the end of my Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)??  In the Advanced box I clicked on "Use custom port:  465" and checked "Use Secure Sockets Layer."  Authentication:  Password; I have correct User Name and Password put in.  After doing all this, when I try to send emails again today, they go directly to the Outbox and sit there. 
    What's curious is that my first sent email this morning did go out using the Outgoing Mail Server, smtp.att.yahoo.com: (customer ID)@att.net(Offline) but subsequent emails I tried to send with this server were rejected with the message:  "Cannot send message using the server smtp.att.yahoo.com (etc.).  The SMTP server doesn't support TLS(SSL) on port 587.  Verify your account settings and try again."  That's when I tried resetting my Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net (etc.), as mentioned above, and was unsuccessful in sending out any further emails.  I guess my next step is to contact my email service provider, AT&T, and see if they can help me.  Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond and for giving me your input!  Much appreciated!

I plugged it into my iTunes to see if it would pop up, but that didn't work either. My phone is updated, and I'm pretty sure I already accepted the new terms and conditions on the last update a few months back.

    If you are having issues with your iPhone continuing to ask you to accept terms and conditions, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
    First, quit all running applications and test again -
    Force an app to close in iOS
    Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
    Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
    How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

  • ITunes crashes every time I try to access the store

    Every time I try to access the iTunes store in the iTunes app it crashes. I am running Win 7 Home edition and the latest iTunes (I even uninstalled and reinstalled). Not only that but the albums that I purchased from the store only about 1/2 of the songs play. The other half give the message that I am not authorized to play the song. How can I be authorized for only half of the songs? And it happens on every album purchased from the iTunes store. (I tried everything in this support article iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support)

    After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with iTunes for Windows issues. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice for the issue you are experiencing:
    iTunes for Windows: System restarts, blue screen, or quits unexpectedly when accessing iTunes Store
    When accessing the iTunes Store on Windows, your computer may restart or display a blue screen (Windows XP), or iTunes may quit unexpectedly (Windows Vista). You might also have issues opening iTunes if it is configured to open to the iTunes Store.
    This issue is caused by outdated drivers for ATI Radeon 2400 series video cards.
    Note: Some companies other than ATI may have manufactured video cards based upon the design of the ATI Radeon 2400 series.
    A driver is a piece of software that allows your operating system to communicate with a piece of hardware. Your PC consists of many hardware components, such as your hard disk, optical drive (CD or DVD drive), USB card, and video card. All built-in and external devices require drivers to communicate with your operating system.
    When iTunes is accessing the iTunes Store, it relies upon your video card driver to display certain animation and graphics within the iTunes Store. This can trigger an issue which is fixed in newer versions of your video card drivers.
    To find out what video card and version you have:
    Right-click My Computer (Windows XP) or Computer (Windows Vista) and choose Manage.
    Click Device Manager in the list on the left of the Computer Management window.
    Click the plus sign next to Display Adapters in the list on the right.
    Right-click the video card and choose Properties.
    Take note of the name of the device.
    Click the Driver tab for more details.
    If there are multiple video card entries, repeat steps 4-6 for each entry.
    For each driver listed, check the manufacturer's website to see if there is an updated version available. For more information on how to update drivers, follow Updating the drivers on your Windows PC.
    If your drivers are the most up-to-date versions, from your computer manufacturer or video card manufacturer, you should consider installing the most updated driver from ATI.
