Every time i try to download a pdf program an apple script comes up and the download does not go through what is the problem and why can i not download?

I try downloading games and things but every time i do apple script comes up with an encrypted file. It has done this sense i bought this lap top. Please help me.

Okay, can you reply letting me know if the computer was purchased used?, this will help as it would identify the possibility that the prior owner did indeed create some sort of block.
Next, what you are speaking about blocks in regards to downloading 'PDF software'...is it PDF 'software' or PDF files that are blocked?, it appears that maybe it's the PDF files which are blocked at which case it indeed my be programmed into the system.
Please answer these and we can further assist you in reaching an answer. As for this list you have provided, I would need more than simple bullets....if you can provide the location of these 'bullets' and file extension...that would get the ball rolling.

It may depend on the plugin that is loaded into your browser. However, right click on a PDF and select the Open With option and go to the default button to select Acrobat as the default. That might do it.

Every time I try to open a pdf file it says I must accept the End User Agreement, so I just try to install it again and it pops up an error.

Firefox locks up every time I try to print to PDF.

Every time I try to print to PDF, Firefox locks up and has to be shut down. I have the latest versions of Firefox ver 35, all Windows 7 updates, Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.5, etc. I tried refreshing Firefox and it did not help. I tried making a new profile and staring with it, and that did not help. I am stumped. Can you help get this fixed?

It may be that you can change the current pdf reader, or try to reinstall it. In order to change the default reader for PDF files (to not open PDF files with Firefox's internal PDF reader), follow these steps:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click Options.
#In the Options (Preferences for Linux and Mac) window, select the ''Applications'' panel.
#In the ''Search'' field, type ''PDF''. You should find ''Portable Document Format (PDF)''.
#On the right hand side you should find an ''Action'' column. Use that to select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDF files in Firefox, choose ''Preview in Firefox''.
Another troubleshooting step would be to try resetting the printing options in Firefox. [[Fix printing problems in Firefox]]

Preview locks up every time I try to print a pdf.

Hello all, got a problem that popped up this afternoon, hopefully I can get some help. I've been using preview since I installed lion last week without issue. This morning I was printing from it with no problem, all of the sudden now it locks up every time I try to print, I have to use option, command, esc. to get out of the program. I've been searching quite a bit and can't find a solution, would appreciate any help, thanks!

I have been having this issue as well - permissions settings (in other posts) didn't fix it.
I went into system preferences and set the default printer as a one of my brother printers instead of "last used" (which was pointing to my canon)... I can now print in Preview to PDF or my other printers but if i select my printer as the canon - it locks up again -so at least that narrows it down and i am now able to print to PDF (and my other printers) from preview. hope it helps somone to get access to other printers and the pdf functionin Preview (haven't checked textedit yet)

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

I bought my iPad several months ago and I thought I set up my iCloud account correctly but I may not have, as I was fairly new to this venture.
Every time I try to access it, it tells me, Verifying and after a little while it tells me Unable to Verify Account, so I guess I don't have something right.

Problem (2) is, I can't add Contacts to my Contacts APP. Now I asked a Person at the ATT store where I purchased my iPad, she showed me what
to do, I said that was easy enough, and when I got home I went to my tablet and My APP did not have a (+) Sign at the bottom of the page like hers
did, and hers looked so easy. Is my CONTACT APP not downloaded correctly, or is it an old version? Because it came on my Tablet already? So How do I
ADD my Contacts?

I have iPhone 5s with an Apple ID which is different from iPad I'd. This is because I changed my primary e.mail address as it would not work on new phone. Every time I try to log in to icloud or apple I have to change my password. This is EVERY time

Now, every time I try to use apple or icloud the sign in comes up with the "old" ID which has been changed - I therefore cannot login, have to reset my password but once logged out and try to log back in again it still has my old id displayed - what can I do?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

SwiftKey Keyboard crashes every time i try to fill a textfield in a website (i test some different sites). But it works if i use the standartkeybord from android, but i dont want to use any other key than SwiftKey. Please BugFix the problem.

Every time i try to fill a textfield on a homepage swiftkey crashes. But i can type in a internet-adress without any problems. If i use any other Keybord all work fine, but i dont want to use any other Keybord than SwiftKey.

8.1.2. crashes every time I try to open a pdf

Since upgrading to 8.1.2 automatically, I try to open a fax sent by my internet fax service, and it crashes every time.
Error: instruction at 0x2d830cbc ...memory cannot be read.
I thought it might be something to do with that particular fax, so I tried to open some other pdfs...same error...
Advice or suggestions please?

I had the same problem, but first it said "Invalid plugin detected" When you clicked okay it gave more detail "The instructions at 0x2d830cbc reference memory could not be read.
I went to adobe plugins folder and started removing plugins until I would not get an error when I opened acrobat. I found three plugins from another company that was giving me problems.
