Every time I try to open a pdf file it says i need to accept the end user agreement
Every time I try to open a pdf file it says I must accept the End User Agreement, so I just try to install it again and it pops up an error.
Does it just say you have to accept the license agreement, or does it say you have to LAUNCH something (Adobe Reader, or Adobe Acrobat)? If it says this, have you done what it says? Or would you like assistance in how to launch stuff in Mac OS or Windows?

How to I accept the "End User Agreement" to be able to view a pdf?
If you are in Windows (which we don't know), you can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement. I have a MAC and when I try to use Adobe Reader, I get a pop up telling me to lauch ADobe Reader and accept the end user license agreement, but when I do that, there is no agreement to acknowledge. What should I do?
I have the same problem as Pam101. I am on OS X 10.9 and Safari 7 (actually on 2 iMacs). The one iMac is fine but the other with the same versions and settings Adobe Reader will not work. What happens is the Adobe Reader icon appears on the dock, bounces once and that's it. When trying to open a .pdf file from a website a new tab is opened on Safari, the background is black and there is a pop up message (black test on a white background) that reads: "Adobe PDF Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement." This is all very well but if Adobe Reader will not launch how on earth is it possible to accept the End User License Agreement terms? Very, very annoying, especially since it all works just fine if I launch a .pdf file from a website using Chrome. What is going on here and who do I talk to in order to fix this problem - Apple or Adobe?

I do activate acrobat, but it still comes up next time I need to open a pdf file. The same problem occurs when I use a quicktime file. I get the drop down to let me me allow every time but again , next time I want to use see or hear a quicktime file I get the same question. This is very annoying. I went into options and chose the file to use to open rather than having it ask me but that didn't solve the issue either.
You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

I am having an issue with my adobe acrobat 9 pro. Every time I try to open a pdf from someone it opens it up with my free adobe reader rather than the Acrobat 9 pro so then I don't have all of the functions of 9 pro. How do I get it to open with 9 pro instead of the free reader?
It may depend on the plugin that is loaded into your browser. However, right click on a PDF and select the Open With option and go to the default button to select Acrobat as the default. That might do it.

Firefox 3.6.10 crashes each time I try to open a PDF file? Any suggestions?
Each time I try to open a PDF file from any website, Firefox (3.6.10) crashes. No error messages--just closes abruptly. For add-ons, I've got Personas 1.6.1, United States English Dictionary 1.0.0, and WOT. I've got the Adobe Reader 9 and Foxit 3.3.1.0518. The crashes of Firefox occur with both PDF readers. I did go through the posted solutions for PFD related crashes in the FAQ section but those steps did not resolve the problem.
Does that only happen if you open the PDF files in the browser or also if you open the PDF files in the standalone program by disabling the plugin?

Have been using Lightroom on my Apple computer for years. Now, ever since upgrading to Apple's Yosemite operating system I get an error message (150:30) every time I try to open a lightroom file. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Also how do I subscribe to Adobe's Premium Support? Every time I've tried (through contact support) I just get taken on an unending loop.

Exactly what files are you trying to open?
Exactly how are you trying to open them (what menu command or button or mouse action or keyboard shortcut)?
And lastly, what version of Lightroom are you using? -
Have installed and uninstalled Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my Dell desktop running Windows 7 Professional. Each time I try to open a PDF file, I receive ERROR: 16 message. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I have installed adobe reader onto my Mac but when I open up an adobe pdf it tells me that i need to accept the end user license agreement, quite, and then open up a new browser but i have never seen the end user license agreement. What should I do in order to accept the end user license agreement even though it never pops up when i install adobe reader?
Make sure Readr is closed. Go to the Applications form, look for the Adobe Reader icon, double click on it, and follow the lead. Restart Reader when finished.

Following your instructions, I then selected Reader as the desired Adobe product to open all PDFs. and save that choice. Still no difference, the same black screen and statement about the EULA shows up…

I have CS5 installed and operating in my MacBook Pro since 2012.
Several months ago, I ran not an issue where by, when trying to download PDFs from any website, I get the following back screen and message"
"Before proceeding, you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement"
The screen gives me no options to do this and, regardless of what I do, the same window with the same message opens…….
Does anyone know how to address this? FYI. I can use Acrobat Pro 9 to assemble and create PDFs, this is the ONLY problem that I am dealing with.

No, I was never able to get this to work.
What I found, however, is that I can view the pdfs normally if I use Firefox instead on my default, Safari…….not much of a fix BUT at least I can access the pdfs now……..I just don't understand why this seems to happen in Safari only………Safari is updated to the latest version via Software Update in Mac OS 10.7.5….

I did the subscription 3 days ago and got an order number confirmation...but I can't open any PDF files on my computer. If there is something I am supposed to download...I can't find the link anywhere.
Uninstall Reader. Use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Tool. They try re-installing Reader 9.2

8.1.2. crashes every time I try to open a pdf
Since upgrading to 8.1.2 automatically, I try to open a fax sent by my internet fax service, and it crashes every time.
Error: instruction at 0x2d830cbc ...memory cannot be read.
I thought it might be something to do with that particular fax, so I tried to open some other pdfs...same error...
Advice or suggestions please?I had the same problem, but first it said "Invalid plugin detected" When you clicked okay it gave more detail "The instructions at 0x2d830cbc reference memory could not be read.
I went to adobe plugins folder and started removing plugins until I would not get an error when I opened acrobat. I found three plugins from another company that was giving me problems.
