Every time I try to open my TD Bank site I get a "timed out" message. This is the only site where this happens. Why?
I have been in touch with the bank support and they had me change the proxy setting and this helped once and then the problem returned.
I have gone paperless and I need to access these sites to run my business.
I work on a Toshiba laptop using Vista. This problem has only occurred in the last couple of months and I have been using this banking site for a few years.
Help - I am frustrated and I am NOT a computer whiz

Every time I try and open up my itunes it will get stuck on lode. I am not able to click on anything or close down the page. I have to restart my computer. I have a new ipod and can't even get my music on it or watch my movies! what is going on?

I had an old version of office so I tried to install a free download that will allow me to open docx files. Now when I try to open one and endless stream of tabs that say "New Tab" scrolls across the top of the page. How do I make it stop. I already went and got office 2010 but it is still doing it. It does not do it if I use Internet Exployer for the browser.

Sorry! I didn't realize that a message window opened up, so am not sure if my entire question showed up. I can't use my Safari app at all. Every time I try to open it, the app I used (and closed) previously opens instead. It doesn't matter what app it is, it is just the previous app used. Settings: 4.2.6 (8E200). Model MC676LL. As suggested in your reference thread I removed "/Library/Printers/hp/PDEs/hpPostScriptPDE.plugin" and the problem has been resolved.
I am guessing the the plug-in for the hp printers got corrupted and effected every thing, or became unsuitable when I installed an Apple update. I would be most grateful if you can confirm how the problem was coursed so I can understand and learn from this experiance.

Speed grade CS6 crashes every time I try to open it
I looked up my Speed Grade CS6 and it stated it worked with OS6.8 and OS7. Well, mine will not open, it crashes every time i try to open it. I have and older Mac Pro 1.1 and can back door it and different processor but am I wasting my time and money I don't have? Help!
Not on Mac myself, but I've seen several issues on new installs that can be a pain. First ... there's some permissions on the Mac that can with some of the OS releases get set wrong ... similar to the way on the PC side of things some folks have to set it to "run as Administrator account" or something like that. Sorry but I don't know the precise language or location of that setting.
Second, on installation some times there can be garbage created in pref settings that can cause this ... trying to remember ... it's I think holding shift-alt- while starting the program that gets it by the prefs & setup files, which sometimes fixes this.
Third, at times you just need to uninstall/reinstall. Best done using Adobe's CC Cleaner tool, as it deletes all the preference/setup files that typical OS uninstalls don't get. And are realistically the things you most want GONE to fix this.

The problem is with facebook, go to settings / facebook / your user name and delete your account, the do a hard reset (home+power for some seconds).

Numbers for iPad crashes every time I try to open the date and time keyboard.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Try the following steps and let me know if it worked for you:
Delete all the files from following folders:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache
And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD
Then launch Acrobat, Accept EULA and enter the serial number again an check.
