Every time I upgrade my iTunes software I get more  !  labeled music files

I am really frustrated. Every time I update my iTunes software more of my music comes up with the ! label indicating that iTunes cannot find the file. The files have not been moved at all and are still in the same place they always were. When I attempt to search for the file I have to use the browse function and go back to the same place. This happens every time I update the iTunes software and the songs that it happens to changes from one update to the next.
If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Im Not sure but it sounds to me that the most likly thing that has happened is your iTunes Library file has become corrupt. You may have to remove or delete it. Here is a link explaining iTunes Libraries, what they do and where there located http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93732 . Also you may want to see if theres any updates from the company that made your PC for iTunes issuses. FOr example my Mother has an HP Computer and was having other issues with iTunes, only after directing her to the HP web site to show her updates for her PC did I see a patch they offered making iTunes work properly after updating some HP products. It was something about after updating these HP products it somehow conflicted with iTunes and this patch they offered fixed it.

Every time I switch on the iPhone, the iTunes icon is displayed together with a USB icon and Emergency call message appears on the screen in many languages. When I touch the i symbol I get the following information IMEI: **** AND ICCID: ****
However, the iphone is visible in the Devices directory in iTunes. I changed my SIM card but still can not be recognized by the iPhone.

  • Already watched a movie but now it downloads EVERY TIME I CONNECT TO ITUNES

Driving me up a wall -- every time I connect to iTunes, it tries to download old purchases to my computer.  Immediately and without warning.  I watched these purchases years ago and never want to download them again.  I just want them in my iTunes account for downloading or watching on Apple TV if I ever feel like it, but don't need them on my computer or device.  How do I tell iTunes to stop doing this?  Every time I connect, it starts downloading them and I go and delete all the downloads right when they start, but it happens every time.
Note: it may be that I never fully downloaded the videos to my computer.  Because I watched them on Apple TV or something.  But still, I don't ever want to download them.  How can I stop this?  It's a huge problem downloading anything on my laptop because it's old -- I rarely use my laptop and the only thing I ever used iTunes for is backup old media that was imported from CDs, etc.

The 3G stops at iOS 4.2.1 does not support abve that level .
    Nothing you can do

  • Every time I open my itunes a message saying an unknown error has ocurred with the following number  -42110. how can I solve it?

every time I open my itunes a message saying an unknown error has ocurred with the following number  -42110. how can I solve it?

    Hello there, lgi00.
It can be so perplexing getting error messages when we are just beginning to launch a program. There is a pretty in depth Knowledge Base article that dives into many of the meanings to particular error numbers. See here:
    iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297
Under "Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows)" there is the following explanation and guidelines to getting that issue resolved:
    "Error 3001,"  "-42110," or "5103"
This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities for finding an answer to your question.
    Cheers,

    Hello wilsona1234,
Sorry for the trouble. What is the exact detection from Norton for the installation file? Did you download itunes from the legitimate Apple web site? What is the error you are referring to?
