Every time I visit a certain website, I have to magnify it. Thats great and all but whenever I return back it has reset. Can I "Lock in" a zoom for a particular website forever?

OK, I have checked all other settings, and they are OK.
Now, after more testing, I have found they exact same symptoms.
It seems that if it is the 1st time to use FF and/or 1st time to visit any site it just sits there accessing the hard drive.
I may have to figure out (somehow) EXACTLY what it is accessing/writing/reading at that moment. Tried Process Monitor (from SysInternals) and it is kinda cryptic in the data department. BUT, shall let it monitor next time I first start to use FF for the day and see what it picks up in its log.
MAYBE if I am lucky I will see something that sounds an alarm bell for me.
I can only hope. Of course, then would come the "fun" part...remedy for the problem. :)

My laptop, iPad, and iPhone are being clogged by repeated iCal alerts. Every time an event is added, it seems another Calendar is also added. When I view the Calendar list in iCal, there are over 100...and the number is growing. They can not be deleted with a simple "Select all" or "Delete All" and, when deleted individually, the list quickly grows to huge numbers again rapidly. I got an Ipod touch 4g for Christmas and am having a few problems. Firstly, everytime I plug my ipod into my laptop onto itunes to put music onto it, all of my apps on my ipod get deleted and I can't go on them. Have you got any tips?

Thanks xxxIt appears that you previous synced the iPod with another iTunes library/computer. You can only sync with one iTunes library. If yuy try to sync with another library the iPOd will be erased and its contents replaced with the contents in the iTunes library of the computer.

Can I lock an Essbase database for a particular period?

That seems to be the only way to do it! The requirement was mainly for Actual data load. I created a special user, granted it Viewer and Analytic Server write access in Planning module, Server access for Essbase and configured it as a planning as well as Essbase user. During refresh, the filter was automatically created in Essbase. A MAXL script is called before the Actual data load that modifies the definition of the filter through a substitution variable. I am using this user account for all the actual data loads.

Why do I have to select "continue allowing" every time I visit certain sites in order to be able to type into flash based form fields?
See attached image for reference to what button I am referring to. Until i hit the "continue allowing" button I can not type into the form fields. I have tried removing and reinstalling flash. refreshing firefox, and clearing cache and cookies, and deleting the permissions.sqlite file. Nothing has worked. This issue just started happening a few days ago. Please let me know what I might be able to do to fix this.That full page including the form is a Flash object.
I didn't see this doorhanger opening when I tried the URL in a new profile.
Did you previously created an exception or is the default selected if you check the permissions for the Flash plugin?
You can inspect and manage the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab:

The website may need more memory than you have available if you are running iOS 5.1.1 on the original iPad. Try some basic troubleshooting steps. Maybe quitting all apps might be the best thing to try.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit ALL apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.

I recommend you remove your email address from your question. This forum is on the public web so there is a chance that spammers, who regularly crawl public websites in an attempt to find email addresses, will find your email address. You will end up getting a lot of spam emails.

This has been happening for me just recently, 12/2012... EVERY TIME I CLICK ON A WEBSITE, I get: WARNING: SUSPECTED PHISHING SITE.
At first, I thought it was valid, but when I saw that it was doing it before EVERY page, I knew that something was wrong. I read through your comments from the past, but saw no indications of what was causing the problem then or how to fix it.
I have a macbook 10.5.8, & I use Safari. Never had this problem before.

I have copied & pasted the email addresses from my spam to block in Yahoo mail to see if that makes any difference in the number of spam emails that I get. Probably not, as they are constantly changing email addresses, but thought I would try.

Hello How do I set up Firefox 8.0 so that It will Ask me if I want to save a Password for a website. At present I don't get an option every time I go into a website that I know is secure I have to enter username and password. I have been though tools etc.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

Open Keychain Access located in /Applications/Utilities
Select Passwords on the left.
Use the search field top right corner of that window to find the MLB keychain. Now right or control click that keychain then click Delete.
Now in Safari go to the Safari menu bar top of your screen, click Safari > Preferences then select the Autofill tab.
Make sure User names and passwords is selected.
Navigate to the MLB site (forums), login with your user name and password. You should be prompted to save that data to a new keychain. Click Yes.
Sometimes keychains can become corrupted and need replacing. The next time you revisit that site you should not have to enter the password. -

No, the app does not have to completely restart. It gets shifted in its open state into storage. Similar to how a computer uses the hard disk when it has insufficient memory.
What complicates things is that sometimes memory does not get returned for reuse when you close an app. Thus yo should periodically double click the Home button and "delete" unnecessary apps from the multitasking dock and power off and then back on the iPod. -
my MAc Book PRO 13" Retina display will not update. It crashes every time I try to do an update. I have sent in the information on each update but so far nothing back from Apple. Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.
That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.
