I posted this earlier, and to make a topic so people can see, this is the way I solved my problem... Disconnect the iPod from the computer. Then go to "start> right click my computer>
manage> services and applications> services> click iPod service> click stop service." Then connect the ipod and it should show up in my computer. Format it so all content is gone. Next, go back to "start> right click my computer>
manage> services and applications> services> click iPod service> click Start service." This should have the service running again. Open iTunes and connect the shuffle. When it says to automatically fill it (the window that pops up) dont unclick it, proceed so the shuffle autofills. Before it stops, quickly go to the settings tab. Then, scroll down to where it says "enable disk use". select that and hit apply. Now, you manually eject the iPod and you can manage your music! I had the same problem as you and this eliminated the problem! I hope I helped you here.

This fixed mine!!! YEAHHHHHHHHH. My itunes would freeze up everytime I tried to do anything with my new G2Shuff. I was really getting upset. The status bar for updating or attempting to do anything would just sit there not statusing at all. Get all the errors -50,1418, couldn't read or write to, bla bla, etc. Hopefully Apple will offer a simple fix at some future point.

My new Iphone's battery does not hold charge for long; do you have the same problem?
Greetings, I had a new iphone 4S - bought March 2013, died suddenly September 2013. Iphone replaced by a new one, which seemed to work fine. Suddenly, noticed three days ago that the battery does not hold, even for one day, even with very little use. Charged battery yesterday morning, as it was dead, used phone a few times during the day, still had half batery full at bed time; this morning there was no battery at all - had discharged completely overnight doing nothing. Has anyone had this problem?
It means that I will have to travel a long way to the nearest store to have it looked at. Had already done this last September to replace a dead phone. One would have expected better quality and reliability from a Company like Apple.Sounds like the battery needs replacing. Bring the phone to Apple for battery diagnostics.

Some applications are closing, including Safari, without any reason. Do you have the same problem?
Recently, when I use an app, including Safari, suddently the screen turns black and then the app is closed
this is happening to me too. I have done all of the resets, including wiping it clean back to the factory reset. it was happening before the upgrade to iOS5 and still after.

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:

I'm trying to load flash file in iWeb and when i enter info in the "html snippet" box a "missing plug-in" message comes up (although i have Adobe Flash player installed, if that's the plug-in they're looking for). Anyone have any similar problems or solutions. Thanks
when i publish my site and vew it the page on the web it just comes up with the file name w/ the ,swf and the "mising plug-in" message below. if i click on the file name it displays the flash file but gigantic (the entire height of the page).totally perplexed!

View Solution.Yes it does not mount as a lettered drive. It is combined with the main drive in a RAID array. Look in the list of programs and find Intel Rapid Storage Technology and open it up. If you have the 24 gig cache drive it will look something like this:

this for you are. I'm seeing if I can eliminate the possibility of
our setup here at the office. Your email should be able to support
clickable links (no plain text), and your project should use the
TOC.
1. Go into a published project folder with .htm topic files
in it.
2. Open one of the topics that, when opened by itself, has
the clickable "Show" (or whatever verbiage you may have customized
it to) link.
3. Click "Show" so that the TOC appears.
4. In the browser, highlight and copy the address bar.
5. Paste that into an email and email it to yourself.
6. Click the link in the email.
Does this open the project to the topic you originally pasted
the link to, or does it just open the start page of the project?

am experiencing the identical problem on a HP
Proliant BL25p Blade Server. Here is my hardware
config:
CPU - Dual Opteron 2.6 Single Core
Memory - 16gb
Controller - HP Smart Array 6i
Logical drives - 1 (2x72gb RAID1+0)
I have tried the same things as you and I still get
intermittant boots. Power on and off does not always
work as the system still hangs. It's totally hit or
miss. Once it soes boot it seems to work fine. I have
also installed the latest Solaris 10 for x86 Patch
Cluster in hopes that some of the kernal patches
would fix the problem. So far no luck as the system
continues to hang...HARD!! HP was out to my site
today and the Eng. is going back to the group that
qualified Solaris10 on the HP Blades and see if they
have any input. If I receive anything back I will
post it here. I know this post is late and if you

I need urgent help!!
I recently upgraded my iphone 4, it works perfectly, everything all right with it, but... Next time I wanted to sync the iphone with itunes I couldn´t!!!
On the screen it shows a message saying that "my iphone cannot be read on this itunes because is not the actual version" and that I needed to upgrade it to the latest version, so I went to search for an update on the itunes menu and the message was "there are not new versions, you have the latest" but is not true!!!
So, I went to the itunes webpage to download the 11.1 version and once it was finished I tried to install it, but it happened nothing!
I am desperate and don´t know what to do, I don´t want to loose all I have there!!!
I would be so grateful if you could help me solving this problem!!

YazzIf you're using 10.5.8, YOU HAVE the latest (iTunes 10) that will run on your OS.
If your mac is Intel, you can upgrade to 10.6 through Apple for $19.99, then run the 10.6.8 combo update and you'll be able to run iTunes 11.1.2 or 11.1.3 -

That is correct is doesn't. Standardized formatting of phone numbers in the iOS app is more important because it supports contact from a variety of locations (gmail, hotmail, etc.). iCloud doesn't (not directly).
