Everything connected...numbers are right...BUT STILL NO INTERNET!

Okay previous to my last problem....i have a new one!
we've changed routers (netgear was the one we had a couple days ago...i did something that messed up everything..internet and phone...so my dad had to get a new one..)
so we now have linksys
everything is connected
ip address - 192.168.1.100
subnet - 255.255.255.0
router - 192.168.1.1
dns - 192.168.1.1
when i click to the internet....still wont work!

I would not have recommended a Linksys router. They are notorious for having connection problems with Apple products.
Even though this is a new router, please look for a firmware update for it. These things sit on the shelf for months and often several generations of updates have been issued.
If your touch had all the right IP address displayed and typing in that IP address didn't get you to Google, there is still something messed up somewhere. Either Mac address filtering is on or your iPod is very sick. You need to go somewhere to try and connect to a different network to rule out a hardware problem with the touch.

Try rebooting your iPad and see if they reappear.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If they still do not show up, make sure hat you don't have content restrictions set that could prevent certain apps from showing up on your iPad. Settings>General>RestrictionsAllowed Content.
if you still don't see them, connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and you should see them in the iPad mini screens on the right side of iTunes after the iPad has been selected under "devices" and when you are in the apps pane of iTunes.

I have tried network diagnostics which doesnt help... The only other ting is, when I woke the computer up it said tat another device was using my IP... My wife had plugged her phone into the computer to charge etc but even when i turn wifi off on the phone there is no change... also in settings on the phone the IP address is different...

The answer to your question is - neither!
Your PC should to configured to obtain an IP address automatically, and to obtain DNS server IP addresses automatically, from the Airport Express. This is the way Windows (and Macs for that matter) are configued by default, and that is the way most people have their computers set up. If you manually configured your PC's IP address to be the same as your wife's Mac, it certainly explains why your PC is not able to access the internet.

My network connected for a few hours then went back to timing out. I have not changed anything. However there four additional laptop users in my family who do not seem to be having any problems using their wireless connection. Most likely you are suffering from a bug in iWeb that doesn't let you publish websites if an image you have added to your site begins with space. You can either search for that image and remove it.

IPhone 6 Plus connects to Airport Extreme but not the internet

Light on my Airport Extreme is green and the Airport Utility on the iPhone 6 Plus shows that it's connected to the Airport, but not the internet. What the strange this is, I am still getting email and message notifications but just can't view them.
However the internet connection on both my iPad Air and Macbook Pro are working perfectly fine, and they are both connected to the same Airport Extreme.
The firmware on Airport is updated, I have tried to reset network settings and restarting the iPhone with no luck. Any suggestions on what to do?

Give me a screenshot of the working network IP setup on the MBP.
It should look like this. I need to see the IP address and you can also copy and paste for me the dns address.
The same thing from the iphone IP address and DNS will then help me figure out what is wrong.
If they both have an IP like 10.0.1.xx then the DNS or gateway (what apple calls router) has setup wrongly .. try setting manually with the same values exactly as the MBP.
If however the IP is something public like 200.100.2.100 and the other ipad is similar the Airport is setup wrongly in bridge and you have exhausted the available IP addresses so redo the setup of the Extreme so it is in router mode.

It's in your router. Google is your friend, using the make and model of your router and the key words "port forwarding".

Macbook Pro 10.7.5 internet will not work. HELP!!! Ethernet and WIFI both say connected but still no internet.

I have a macbok pro running 10.7.5. My internet has always worked on it but I decided to try changing my router set up - the set up didn't work so I reverted back to the original setup that had previously worked.
Now, I have an Imac running tiger - I can connect to the internet via WIFI or Built In Ethernet with no problem.
When I try to connect to the internet on the Macbook Pro running osx 10.7.5 my internet will not work
Safari Says (You are not connected to the internet) and Google Chrome says (Page is Unavailbe) and lists some trouble shooting options that I tried.
When I go to System prefrences > Network my WIFI and Ethernet both say "Connected" and have a green light next to them.
I have tryed deleting the connections and starting new ones and I have even tried deleting the Location and starting a new one.
Nothing works - no matter what I do, even know the WIFI or ETHERNET says Connected, the internet will not work on the Macbook Pro.
The Internet works fine on my Imac and I have tried everything such as swaping cables but there doesn't seem to be a problem with my internet
or with my router - it all works fine with my Imac running Tiger.
Can anyone help me get my internet working on my Macbook Pro again? Any ideas?

I tried both of your suggestions and neither of them worked.
ASGR SYS - When I tried it your way i got a message saying that the that the diagnostic couldn't repair the problem. It shows the thw WIFI, WIFI SETTINGS, NETWORK SETTINGS, ISP, all turn green. But the Internet and Sever stay red. The thing is, there is nothing wrong with my internet connection as I can connect to the internet on my Imac running tiger, both through ethernet and wireless. When I go to System Prefrences and Ntwork the WIFI and ETHERNET both say "Connected" even know I can't veiw any websites.suggestion
When I tried WAHWAR's suggestion I get a message that says cannot connect to the WIFI network and then it lists your typical trouble shooting tips. Like Make sure you entered the right password and make sure you are in range of the wireless network
Again, just to confoirm - My internet connection is working fne both the WIFI and the Ethernet. When I use it on my IMAC running tiger, everything connects as it should and it works perfectly. But when I try to connect with the MacBook Pro, Even know the connections in the Network settings window show up as "connected" the MacBook still seems to think that my internet connection isn't working at all.

Setup seems right but still TNS-12535: TNS:operation timed out

I have Oracle express Edition installed on Fedora 4. I know the listener is started and believe the tnsnames.ora is configured properly but still get a timout when I try to connect with SQL*Plus. I am able to get into SQL with tue GUI tools but want to be able to get into SQL*Plus so I can refresh my skills with writing shell scripts. The only thing I can think is that some port is blocked somewho. I get this timeout when I start a terminal session directly on the computer. I think my environment variables are correct or I would get a different error.

Positive sign ... when going into sqlplus on the same machine as the database AND not using the '@xe', you are bypassing the listener entirely.
So
1) the tnsnames.ora (in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin) needs to have an appropriate entry (say 'xe') that tells Oracle Network to 'find' the database named 'something' on 'host such and such' (as resolved by /etc/hosts or by DNS) using the listener that is listening on 'port so and so'.
Example:
