Everything GONE! help!!!
K, last night, February 4th, 2009, I plugged my ipod into my computer. And I have my settings so it automatically opens iTunes, and everytime my iPod is plugged it, it sync's. After it got done syncing, everything was gone! Except Apps and Photos. This is what my my iPod had. (MINUS THE BLUE PART) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r218/styliztik_33/ipod.jpg
I would LOVE to know what that extra 5 GB of "other" stuff is. because I don't know what it is!!
Please someone for the love of god help me.!
Presumably your music is still in your iTunes Library (and you keep backups of that too)?
Looks like you need to click the "Restore" button in the middle of the screenshot you posted.

Just turned on iPad to check mail, all mail (read, unread, folders everything) gone - help
As the title says just switched on my previously working iPad to check mail (Imap and two pop accounts) the two pop accounts work perfectly. I can send and receive email from this point forward but I have lost all my folders, unread, read, archived and draft emails. Can anyone help? What I have done is check the settings and they are all fine, I have sent from and received mail to this account but all other mail is now vanished.

i have typed many documents on pages and saved to a new folder i created i have just opened it half hour ago and saved some more and all ok i just reopened to save another and all the documents have gone help how do i get them back and where they go ??????
On Lion 10.7.x you need to hold the CMD+r Keys insyead of notting from an Instsall Disc, but try that & step 3 onward...

Ok, so I followed all the steps in help viewer to get my songs back and it doesn't work!!!!!!!!!
And don't tell me to upgrade to the newest version of iTunes because I did, I did everything the Help Viewer said, and my 300+ songs are now GONE.
Anyway to fix this? I swear this is the last time that I'm updating iTunes EVER.
Oh, and my import buttons are all gone. -.-

If you have a graphic of iTunes and a cable displayed on your iDevice then it is in Recovery mode.

I am unable to delete whole texts from left-swipe. i click delete and they dissappear. But then i can't send or recieve texts. i reboot phone and deleted message reappear, but i am able to continue send/recieving texts.. i've synced, backup, everything. Help! I am doing this beacuse in my space on my phone my doucments and data are taking up 9GB of space, and i don't know why other than in my phone it says messages are taking up 8GB or so. I am running ios 7.0. I have synced my phone with itunes, backed up, reboots after deleting the texts, they never vanish, i have even restored from itunes and restored from a backup that didn't include the texts after i deleted them.
actually better to reset your phone and reinstall the latest firmware again after that restore your back up it should be ok

i recently buyed totally unlocked sprint iphone which was legally contract free and i am using that phone in india but i am not able to send sms .everything is working fine except sending sms. i have tried everything plz help me !! i have tried everything i.e. reset iphone /hard reset/network setting reset /sms service no i have also changed but i am still not able to send sms.. please help me as i am really worried .. thank you !!
I had the same problem. Kept getting message of waiting for activation or check network connections. I also tried every solution out there and nothing worked. This did though: I download the newest version of itunes (through Internet Explorer - Google Chrome wouldn't work). It pulled in my entire library thank goodness and then I plugged my iphone 4s into the computer. I let itunes find it, did a complete backup in icloud, then did a restore. Entire process took a couple of hours, but I now have imessage and facetime back. I was about ready to give up on Apple and go get a different phone ~

As Apple has posted on their website since early June, only the 5th gen ipod touch can handle ios 7.

I've tried everything like switching it off and on, and switching off wifi and back on again, re-setting everything. HELP!iTunes will also NOT recognize my iPod Touch.. I've reinstalled iTunes several times on all THREE of my computers to the same result.. I'm going insane.. The newest iTunes has made it a real hassle!! Before I updated my iTunes both connected just FINE!! Now neither my computers (3 of them) or iTunes will recognize the iphone4, or the iPod Touch. The threads that people are posting to go back to the SAME 6 troubleshooting steps aren't really helping. ANYONE else had the same problem but was able to resolve?? A little desperate here!! HELP!!

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. To solve some sound problems, just follow these simple steps

4. Tap on Reset All Settings
What this effectively does is to reset some of your Settings to factory default. It’s not a complete removal of settings. It removes all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy. It doesn’t affect your data. All of your email accounts will remain intact, as well as any SMS text or iMessages.
