Everything got deleted after I updated my ipod to version 5.0.1. What can I do?
Ok, so I had to use a different computer than I did before because that one is totalled (both are pc's). I am positive I was signed in to my itunes account. So after I did the update the ipod was TOTALLY wiped clean, itunes didn't even recognize it as "David ipod" anymore, it now said 'new ipod". I'm completely clueless as to what happened, I read that itunes makes a backup before updating but I dont know how to find it. Any help will be very appreciated

Basically, itmes like music, apps themselves and some other suff is not part of the backup so after the update they can't be sunced from the iTunes library since they are not in the iTunes library.

History got deleted after firefox update 14, keeps repeating
I updated my Firefox Browser v 13 to v 14. However, after this my history got deleted without my deleting it. So I had to manually type each letter of my favourite sites.

Yesterday I decided to update my 4 generation iPod Touch, before I updated it I synced all my stuff I had in my iPod that I haven't synced yet onto my iTunes library, but my movie didn't get synced and I didn't know that so I updated it anyways. After I updated it, I wanted to get all my music, TV shows, podcasts, the movie I mentioned & apps back. Then I realized I didn't sync my movie into my iTunes library and I don't know how to get it back. I went to the iTunes store on my iPod & I saw this section called "Purchased" so I thought all the stuff I have bought in the iTunes store would be there, but it only appeared the TV shows & music I've bought, not the movie. I need some help please :l
You can contact iTunes and explain what happens and then may allow aa redownload. Unlike for apps and music (some countires only) a redownload is not guaranteed.

Reset your iPad.
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. Then plug it back in and see if it is seen now.

If that doesn't fix it, go into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, apple Mobile device service, apple application support.
Then redownload and reinstall iTunes. then try again. -
Help - after NG6 update cannot print to HP 4600dn color laser - what can I do?
I was always able to print easily from my Galaxy S4 to my local lan networked HP 4600dn. I still can from my Note 3 which is at NC4 update.
I'm guessing when the Note 3 is forced to update I won't be able to print to the HP 4600dn from it either. Was that ability intentionally removed to force me to use cloud printing or pay for extra apps? I see Google and HP are really pushing that. I'm not crazy about my personal documents going onto the cloud and then back to my printer so that option is a no go for me. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.

Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

If you have been regularly syncing/backing up your iPhone with iTunes or iCloud, you may try restoring it from the last backup.

You should be transferring all apps purchased on the ipod to your computer regularly, especially before any update.
If you have failed to do this, then do so now. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You then sync them to the ipod from your computer. -

- Try on another computer

It isn't possible to create a rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions. Nobody on these boards can reset them for you.
