Everything has gone on my wife's PC, apart from the Thunderbird outline

Thunderbird is still there asking about integration and suggesting new email address. I've backed up what is on the C\: drive but cannot make out if what's there is up to date. Sadly and ashamedly, my last backup was late July 14 of C:\.... Roaming .. Thunderbird folder - all of it. I do back up more frequently on occasion. My wife cannot recall a dodgy email. My Thunderbird on my PC seems intact. I did get dodgy emails after the Adobe hack but I always deleted them after taking notes of some of them.
It really would be nice if there was a Thunderbird to text application, I had one for Outlook Express, some years ago, ABC Amber, and can read all content and attachments in rtf format for the past many years, as the "hieroglyphics" in profiles just cannot be interpreted by an aged amateur like myself. So, with the equivalent of ABC Amber, I'd have all past emails in plain text and if a similar thing happened could start Thunderbird from scratch with few worries.
Thanks in anticipation
