Question

Case 1:
When I a picture inserted in InDesign of animal cell and I have renamed the parts of it. i.e. cell membrane, nucleus, etc.
When I select whole image and text frames using selection tool, I want to invert selection between: text and image. So that i can change colours of text only and image only separately. I mean when i select image and text of that picture, there should be command to select only text or image in inverse as in photoshop. That would be great benefit for the users who work on long books of pages 10-350.
Case 2:
Is there no facility of protecting the document using password as in 'MS Word'?
Case 3:
In my opinion Adobe should make dedicated program for print industry only and not for web such as we have no use making animations in InDesign.
Case 4:
Is there no command in InDesign to remove empty text blocks/frames from the Document? or remove contents outside of the spread. I mean pasteboard, after finalising the document.
Case 5:
It is better to include more and more words i.e. technical (physics, bio, chemical, advocacy....., etc.) in InDesign.
Case 6:
When I press Shift + F3 while inserting the cursor on the middle of word, MS Word will change the word: Sentence Case, Title Case................, etc. Why InDesign Developers' hasn't developed such universal keyboard shortcut?
Case 7
We use MX Freehand to do 2 and 4 colour books. Especially long books (60-300 pages). There are a lot of effects which we can use from MX Freehand like Xtras Operations and Xtras Tools. But in Indesign .......... .
Case 8
What about doing Mathematics in Adobe Indesign CS3? Why there is no equation editor like in MS Word? When we do single colour books of Maths, it is easy to use MS Word but for 2 and 4 colour books, it is so hard. W have to make text blocks one by one, draw strokes and again draw a stroke. At last we have to use align command to align them in proper order. It's so long process . Why doesn't Adobe think about it?????????????

Why Indesign hasn't developed a chart tool for making charts and pictographs as in MX Freehand? Indesign Developers should think about it in timely. Otherwise it will be hard for the Indesign time to have a long go ................... .

Indesign should have the capabilities of Importing MX Freehand files without destructing the layout of Freehand.

Can I start my colourful mathematics book start in Adobe Illustrator® leaving/discarding MX Freehand? Can Adobe suggest me in this illusion/confusion/delusion?
Case 13
Why Adobe shouldn't try to make Indesign make a powerful software using the options and features of MX Freehand, MS Word, Adobe Pagemaker, Photoshop? I mean if Adobe become able to do so we users do not need to shuffle to different applications like above i have mentioned.
At last thanks to Adobe team for its Powerful Adobe CS3 Software because I'm using Indesign CS3 only.

Here is how I would approach some of the issues/problems...
1] Create the art in Illustrator with layers; use layer control and edit original option
2] Use server-based protected folders--less chance of losing access to a file
4] I would be willing to bet there is a script that will do that
5] Feel free to upload an improved user dictionary for other users to benefit from
6] You can create your own shortcuts
7] The reality is that Freehand is dead and will not be upgraded; What features are you looking for? Perhaps there is an AI plug-in that will help.
8] There are third-party math plug-ins
9] It would be better if Illustrator updated its charting functions, not InDesign

12] Yes-realize that all FH features are not in AI (see question in number 7)
13] That is what the Suites are for--with modern computers, it is easy enough to keep ID, AI, and PS open at once (with enough RAM)
