Everything is pink!

after i downloaded i-tunes 8, everything is now highlighted in pink! and the left hand side where it lists playlists, music, tv shows, etc. thats suposed to be a light grey is now dark grey and the text is a faded white. even when i go to the store and look at the top songs, everything is highlighted in pink. its really weird, it went away for like a day, but now its back! i hate it, hopefully someone can help. i've tried to re-install it, but no luck.

Change the monitor's bitdepth to 32 bit from the Control Panel.

  • G4Ti4200-TP64 Everything is pink!

    Hello there!
I don't know what's going on, I just know I need help! My MSI G4Ti4200 had been working great for four weeks (until 3 days ago), when all of a sudden the colors totally changed.
Already when I boot the computer, the text is pink. My background color, which had been white is pink and stays pink, no matter what I do! All colors are off! i don't know what it could be and/or how to fix it!
Is there anybody out there, who could help me, please!!!???? ?(
I didn't get any warning messages and everything else is working, no conflicts, nothing,...
    Please HELP!
    CU, Morgaine

Have you tried a different monitor?  (or even hooking up to a TV if your card supports TV Out?)
It sounds to me like your monitor has lost one of its colours (green, most likely).
Check your monitor cable to see if it's connector is loose, or if the connector has bent pins.  Try moving/fiddling with the cable where it connects to the monitor / where it connects to the video card and see if the colour comes back correctly - even if for a brief flash - that will confirm the monitor is the problem.

  • HEELP! Everything is PINK!!! [solved]

Everything is ping: My gdm is pink, my panel is pink, even archlinux board is pink.
When did that happen? I was playing the moment of silence with wine and after the 5 start of the game the problem appeared. I have no idea how to fix this so I'm reling on you!
    Here are screenshots:
    P.S.
I have no idea why I wrote ping instead of pink...
    EDIT:
It was a monitor issue. Everything is fine after cable reconnect.

You were right! It was a monitor issue!
Thank you for the reply! Reconnecting the cable worked.

  • Camera Is Pink and inverted??

Hi I have had my iPhone for like about 10 months and for about the last month every so often when i go to take a picture my camera sees everything in pink and it seems like it is inverted. it is hard to explain but it doesn't happen all of the time but it does happen. next time it happened i will get a pic of it and post it. but i was wondering if this is a known problem or should i bring it into an apple store.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

Here are a couple of articles from the apple support website that might help out.

  • Pink Screen iPad

I have an iPad2 wifi only.i did not drop it or had any water dripping on it.now when i try to do anything on the ipad everything turns pink. please help.my iPad is just 5 months old.

    Try a reset,
Reset your iPad by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPad  will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.
Good luck and do report back.

  • IPad2 Camera - Pictures/Videos Pink-Tinged

I'm not too keen on the colour rendering of the front/rear cameras on my brand new iPad2 - everything is pink-tinged.   I thought that perhaps it was the lighting indoors so went outside and it's exactly the same.
    Anyone else get this problem?
Take it in to the Apple Store for a swap?
If I do that does anyone know if they will transfer everything on it for me or do I have to do that myself through iTunes?
Dammit - I had the thing personally engraved too...grrr.

Well I'm glad I'm not alone in this matter.  There are other threads where the colours were completely distorted and they recommended unindtalling Skype to see if it helped, but I have never used it anyway.
I just received a call from Apple Support and they suggested a Restore, which I have just done and it didn't work.
There other suggestion was to take it into an Apple Store to see if they can adjust it and they also mentioned that Camera tuning may be included in a future software update of IOS.

  • Display Turns Pink

Yesterday for no apparent reason when I logged back into Yosemite after my computer went to sleep, everything turned pink. I am not the only one to have this problem. It has been observed in Mavericks as far back as July of this year. Though I am happy it is not an issue with my monitor I would still like to correct this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hey there William,
It sounds like your monitor is taking on a pink hue when waking from sleep. I would use these steps from the following article, named:
Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays - Apple Support
    Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
    Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
    Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
    Restart your computer.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

  • HP officejet Pro L7590 Prints 1/2 of the text line on several lines of document

  • Westinghouse monitor problem

So I just bought my G4 the other day, but it didn't come with a monitor so I headed over to best buy. I bought the cheapest one they had that they said would be compatible. I got a 17" lcd Westinghouse display..It has vga and dvi connections, but only came with the vga cable. I plug it in to the dvi-vga adapter, turn the system on and everything is pink and slightly blurry with a 3D glasses kind of effect. It looks awful and only allows me the resolution of 800x600, yet the monitor says its capable of 1280x1024. Is all of this a resolution problem? should I just return it or get a dvi cable? If I do return it what might be a better option?

I hope you didn't put with the VGA distortion all this time. If you haven't, by all means go to a DVI connection and you'll generally get a great full screen image. I have LCD's with both VGA and DVI- DVI clearly superior.

  • Adobe Garamond Pro [Regular] no longer recognized CS2

For months I have been working on hundreds of documents using Adobe Garamond Pro Regular OpenType font with no problems. Today I was copying some text out of an old Quark document (in the Times font). After pasting it into Indesign CS2 I formatted the text with no problem. I scrolled the page and instantly all the text turned pink, and unreadable because all the characters were overlapping each other. Also the font face display changed from "regular" to "[regular]" with the brackets around it, indicating that the Adobe Garamond Pro font face for regular was missing.
Now when I open a document that was fine last week, it also can't see the regular face of Adobe Garmond Pro. Everything is pink.
According to fontbook (OS X 10.5.4) the entire font is good. Other applications on this computer can recognize and display the font face properly. Just in case, I removed it from font book and copied in the same version of the font that I downloaded when I purchased it. No luck.
I've deleted the indesign preferences, no luck.
I've downloaded linotype fontexplorerX to clean the mac's font caches, no luck.
Has anyone else had this problem? Are there other preferences or caches that i can try deleting to get indesign to recognize this font? It's so weird because it all worked for months up until today, and I have not changed or installed anything new.
I would just swap the font for the old postscript version of Adobe Garamond, but the files are full of fractions and I need the opentype version for those.
Thanks in advance for any help, I am losing money here until I can fix this.

Yes, I am not sure why Vinay's response was a PM. Agreed it would have been helpful to post publicly.  All I did was uninstall Premiere Pro CC 2014, clicked yes for the option to remove preferences also, then immediately re-install.
    Here is Vinay's message:
    Hi Brian,
We have noticed this issue recently on 10.10.2 and we are trying to find the possible cause and as per my information this issue might arise due to licensing issues. So, might be in the OS upgrade process the licensing files are corrupted but right now I cannot comment on it. Please follow the step of Clean un-installation of Adobe products and the re-install them again.
Please uninstall all the Adobe applications manually from Applications folder one by one. Once done go to below locations and delete the specific files.
~ Files / Folders ~ Click on Go menu in finder and select Go to Folders option to type these location and click go to Navigate
    /tmp
    /Applications/Adobe*
/Applications/.AdobePatchFiles (hidden, use Go > Go to Folder command)
    /Applications/Utilities/Adobe*
    /[startup disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe*
    /[startup disk]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Caches/Adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Caches/com.adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/Adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe*
Once the locations are cleaned. Please re-install Premier Pro CC 2014 only to check if it works fine. Once checked you can install all the applications again.
Please PM me once it is resolved.

  • 3130CN Ink Leaking

Hi my offices uses a 3130 CN for colored printing.
Today we kept getting an error message of 077-901, 077-90 & 077-102. I cleaned all the rollers and the error message went away.
Now the pages are coming out covered in ink. I opened the front panel and there was blue ink everywhere, especially on the black liner. I cleaned it and replaced the blue toner cartridge. Then it happened with yellow. I again replaced the yellow and now everything is pink.
Any idea what is wrong? I'd appreciate any insight!
    Thanks!

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @justjohn49,
I read about the ink issue you are facing with your Photosmart C310a model, and wanted to reply back to you with my own suggestion.
I would recommend cleaning up the ink the best you can with a lint free cloth and needed, dampened with bottled/distilled water. Also, check out the steps in this guide and also clean the contacts from the cartridges to see if that helps. Disregard the name of the guide, it's the steps inside I suggest. I am also not sure how bad the issue is, however, if it continues, you may be looking at a new printer. HP may have a trade in option for you, if you wish to call them to find out, I will leave their contact info below.

  • Mini mod project- FIRST RUN

    HELLO!!!
has been a looooong while...(well... i disappeared to be precise)
but i started a topic about what metal is used for cases 4 years ago... maybe bas and arsenius will remember me.
since then i have changed my hardware a couple of times.
i think back in those days i was exited about larger cases, the larger the better. and was thinking to make a large case with WC and lots of stuff, i started to mod my case, standard atx tower case. but then the time of LAN party came.. and it was too damn heavy and hard to carry around... so i started to think in somethin smaller, maybe mATX mobo and (cuz i could find sff cases that suit me) make a case from scratch.
then ITX boards arrived and i found a cheap and nice ZOTAC 9300 ITX wifi.
when u see this board in your hands.. u think about making a really really small case, but not everything is pink. i have to fit a 3.5 hard drive (2.5 wasn't in my budget already) a 5.25 burner (here find a laptop slim burner with sata connection is hard and expensive) a vga (not high end but never low end) and the most space killing... the standard PSU (550W minimum)
this is my very first project, and a trial and error kind of thing. so its pretty much a "FUBAR MINI-CASE" but the experience gained here is big, and will let me be more precise next time
anyway this still will be perfection-ed and developed until reach a acceptable state
first the vga, recently bought gtx460 (now i have to update all the rest of the hardware... duu) and some cabling from the psu a Powercooler 550W (local brand good psu already 4 years in use)
here we have the LG burner and the hard drive a Western Digital Caviar Green. slow but silent
here is the front of the case, and the front of the burner, the psu bottom 12cm fan is right on front
the motherboard is a ZOTAC 9300 ITX WI FI  small but nice, the cpu is a Pentium dual core e5200 and the cooler a cooler master vortex 752
has two memory sticks OCZ XTC PLATINUM 1x2GB (i know is not much but that's why i said i need to upgrade everything else.. anyway I'm on 32bit and no program has used more than 2GB)
    running the thing
well. a putty party will be needed to fix all the bumps missed cuts and everything else, i need to fix the position of the burner (is little bit inclined). finish the cover (already in process) make the holes for the buttons and leds, prime and paint . so there is a looot of work to do.. but.. ill have some time next weekend to do it(or do something)
and maybe ill buy a new sheet of thicker aluminum and start over again and this time ill be making it a little bit larger.
i want to thanks everyone who helped me back in time. i don't know if they are still here. but i wanted to show this (even in this bad state) because here was where i got the prime idea.
and by the way sorry for my crappy English.. ejejej
