Everything OK for me on, but when I send to other users, they get problems

Hi,
I did some music to video (advert), put the music on the quicktime movie ok and everything is playing fine on my machine. I sent the movies to one client - everything was Ok, another client couldn't open the files. I re-sent an edit to the first client, this time they couldn't get sound.
Now, everything seems fine on my macbook pro, so does anyone know why other people are experiencing problems opening, and listening to my files.

Not sure what made the recording. I mean apart from my own macbook pro adding the soundtrack.
Any suggestions as to what I should do. Should I re-install quicktime, components?
I'm at a bit of a loss here as to what I should do, so any suggestions would be great.

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

Did you check your user name and password in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap your email account, tap SMTP, then tap the primary server name. Make sure the settings there are correct.

Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware and ASIO tab and click on it.
Under the Input tab, make sure that you have your microphone selected.

I got two iTune gift cards for a gift, but when i try to redeem them, they say that an error has occurred. i havent used them before. what should i do ?

I've recived two iTunes gift cards for the holidays from a family friend in the mail.
When i got the cards i scratched it off, to get my pin number. When i put my pin number into my phone / laptop.. both of the cards said that there was an error with the card.. which i dont understand since they were new. I dont know how much money was on it all i recied were the 2 cards.

Back up all data.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

I am putting an email on my ipod for people to contact me for iMessage and FaceTime but when I put the email in, it gives me an error saying that the email cannot be veirified because it is already in use. I could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts. I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there. When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies. You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though. Good luck!
