Everything was great until I exported my Imovie (09) and then every video clip that was stabilized was suddenly shaking like crazy.
I have a project that appears to be great until I export to either .M4A or .Mov and then everything looks like the cameraperson has had some serious seizures. What is odd is that the stabilization works great while working on the project in Imovie. Can anyone help? The content was captured using a Samsung HD video camera (flash memory).

Sorted.
I found a post elsewhere and the suggestion was to delete the projects folder. Then launching IMovie, the software creates a new projects folder, and I moved the projects in one by one, until I found the one that crashed it.
I suspect your solution would have been quicker however!
I just wish IMovie was less sensitive and just told me what the problem was!!

And if the clips are not contiguous - Then You have to do as in all versions of iMovie from the very beginning.
• Put the clips into one new project
• Export this as full quality QuickTime movie
• Import this new merged QT-clip into Your main project
This is a way around that are very basic and used whenever more elaborated scenes are prepared - e.g. multiple text clips or when in need of adding several functions into it.
Tedious - but it always been like this - in contrast to FinalCut.

I want to import still photos taken from the inet and import video clips of myself over the stills. I also want this movei to illustrate a soundtrack of my singing with a karaoke file.

How would I get my voice singing with the itune song so my singing and the itune become one track?
Then could I use that soundtrack to build the movie, rather than start with video an add soundtrack?

This is a No and Yes question.
No You can not add Audio first in any iMovie from iMovie'08 (version 7.0.x) and onwards. You need to use FinalCut Pro X to do this - Where it's rather straight forward.
Yes - it is a bit tedious but can be faked in iMovie - by first creating a Black .jpg photo. Add this to TimeLine in iMovie as many times (and at max duration) to reserve the time the movie will use. Then add Your Audo track. Then add Your photo and videosequences. There are a function in iMovie that let's You replace the original video with the one You want to insert - "Cutaway" - Then continue till all Black parts are replaced. Movie done !
But really - take a look at FinalCut where this is much easier.

I was exporting one of my iMovie projects, and then iMovie suddenly froze. I restarted my computer but when I opened iMovie my project wasn't there anymore. I don't have time machine is there a way to get my project back? PLEASE HELP
If the system just Restarted on it's own, Shut down while you were working on something then started back up all those changes, edits, you had done in that app, document, are gone.

ipod nano 7th generation having issues with the UI. Out of box everything worked great. Once I snyc the device and it finished, the UI becomes unuesable. You have to double tap every icon in order to open music, videos, etc. I cannot swipe to the second page of icons, black box appears around an icon and then switches to a different one anytime I swipe. A box even appears around the time and battery power. iPod & iTunes are both updated. What is the FIX on this issue?
I had this problem as well. This is what I found by searching online. I tried the fix on my nano 7th gen and it worked. I hope this helps you. Make sure to use two fingers for sliding and double-click the icons to get into settings. Good luck.

I can't get Droid Turbo bluetooth to work in my 2005 Prius. Droid Razr worked fine. It seems to pair OK, and everything works great immediatly after pairing. After stopping and restarting car there is a message saying it found bluetooth device, I can still place a call with the car system, but no sound or microphone connection to the car system. Android tech support just said, "yea, that happens." I have version 4.4.4. Any ideas?

Oh no. Is never fun having issues with bluetooth. Did you have this issue with any of your previous devices? When this happens what steps do you take to get it working again?

Hi. My new computer had Acrobat on it. Suddenly, I was unable to open any PDF's. and then I tried to update and was forwarded to the Adobe site that said I had to buy a monthly subscription. I do not have the physical box with a serial number and was going to buy the one advertised on the website until I discovered it's only for students and teachers, which I am not. You can not - Nobody else (if not a very selected few at Apple dev.group)
TimeLine was lost in iMovie'08 and 09 and a very simple one re-introduced in iMovie'11
Speed Change - Was omitted in iMovie'08 - and returned in iMovie'09 - BUT has to be used in a certain way - the glider/slide if used - will destroy the audio (a Known BUG - in both iM'09 and iM'11) but use of pre-set fixed no. 25% 50% 100% 200% etc. will work.
