Everything works well until uploaded to server

I finally managed to creat my preload page, add it to my
movie etc! Thanks to those who helped me!
I created a webpage with GOLive CS2 and inserted my splash
movie into it... I uplaoded the movie on it's own first and it
works fine... evetyhting's ok... then in golive I put it in a table
and uplaoded it to my server... now my enter button is not working
at all... you can click on it but nothing happens... I tried
viewing it in IE and Firefox and in both it will not open... any
ideas on what it could be?

how do i export this file to use in my website? when i
preview in html mode, everything works fine... at first I was
exporting it to save as a swf file, and adding it to my html page,
but the enter button didn't work... so then i just did publish and
use4d the html document provided, which works fine.... is that the
file I'm supposed to use? with the html generated by flash or is
there a way to just use the movie I exported and uploaded to the
site?
I have searched through the help files but I really cannot
grasp what it says.... they are quite hard to navigate
through...

I am unable to upload Quicktime movies made with imovie to the web. I've tried using Filezilla (which worked well until recently) or even going directly to the webhost via Cox. The upload gets caught in a loop. nojo99

I can't update firefox. I have the 4 beta but when i click on update, it never finnishes to update. Everything goes well until i restart firefox and a window tells me: "conneting to update server". please help

everything works well but FF asks me to update after a few hours everyday, as if i had not done it already. this has never happened before.

Do the following please.
Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 4.0.1] and download a fresh installation file to the desktop. If necessary, download the file with IE8 and choose to save it to your desktop when you see the prompt.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').
Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.

I just bought an iPhone and it seemed to be working well until I went to sync it to my computer and it synced under my old ipod. Now when I go to text it sends as my email and I can't change it to my phone number or anything. How can I fix this?

I just got an iPhone 4 today and it was working well until I went to hook it up to my computer and it asked me if I wanted to set it up as a new phone or back up all my stuff from my old ipod.
I accidentally clicked that and it had pretty much ruined my phone, deleted all contacts everything. I then did a reset through itunes and now when I send a text message it sends as my email instead of my phone number.
I've gone to settings->messages and turned off and on imessage and didn't fix it.
How do I fix this?

Yeah, you fried the phone big time.
Go into iMessage settings and set the Caller ID to your phone number.

In iTunes, try signing out of your Apple ID & then back in: click on iTunes Store on the left sidebar of iTunes, click on your Apple ID on the top right, sign out, sign back in. Then try to sync your purchased music to your phone again.

Swf is not working properly when upload to server

I develop 1.swf which is having 3 buttons each one having
anather .swf to call 2.swf, 3.swf respectively.
This application is running perfectly on my PC, but
While uploading the swf to server the 2.swf and 3.swf is
not running. Can any one tell how to recover from this kind
of problem.

why is that we insist on seeing the source file ?
There is no one way of doing things in flash and no one can
help
you based on "does not work description".
This is way to broad of a subject to even try to guess.
Same as asking "my car does not work, what's up with
that"....
Please upload the problematic file and provide url for us to
check.
Otherwise you need to try to troubleshoot it yourself as we
can't
guess from here what possibly is wrong with that file.

Although I am using the same script as the fields above in the columm, the script eventually stops calculating and I can't figure out why. Is there a limit of how many calculation scripts you can enter? I will attempt to attach my pdf as soon as I figure out how. Thanks.

You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)<br />

It sounds like it is time to restore from the backups you made just before making the disk changes.
You can re-partition and restore your backups. If you didn't make backups first (you were warned that it might damage things and to make sure you had a good backup) then you will need to repartition everything and reinstall from scratch...

Hello Kerrigaj,
After a re-install of OS X 10.5.8 uninstalled the E71 in iSync and moved it out of the bluetooth-device list first and completely re-installed it using the bluetooth manager (SystemPreferences/Hardware).
No extra thirdparty-software involved and ever since no problems.

So you have the 13" aluminum notebook that just says "MacBook" on the display, correct?
You can get a new battery for $100 from Other World Computing here.
Alternatively, you can get one through Apple for $130 here.
I personally would go through OWC - they're a highly-recommended third party for these kinds of parts and their batteries work just as well as Apple's.

And followed the instructions, I set the form enctype="multipart/form-data".
And I have a single checkbox which binded to a bean's property, But after I have added the enctype attribute, the checkbox couldn't be checked. I clicked it and submit, it became unselected. What's the matter?

How do I NOT get automatically redirected to www04.sub.su.se:#### when typing a certain address in the address field which has worked well until today (still works well in IE).

There are some databases/sites that I have access to when having an IP number on university campus or with a proxy. This worked well in firefox until today. When trying to visit those pages the addresses automatically change a second or two after pressing enter to something like: http://www04.sub.su.se:###/ combined with showing random webpages in the window. This seems to be something associated with firefox since I still have access to the pages in internet explorer.
For example:
If I write http://www.isiknowledge.com/ the address changes to http://www04.sub.su.se:2133/cgi-bin/[email protected].
If I want to get to scholar.google.se I get redirected to http://www04.sub.su.se:2087/
When wanting to visit http://pubs.acs.org/about.html I will end up here: http://www04.sub.su.se:2110/about.html
This problem only occurs on services where I in normal case can get access to articles in scientific journals. I have not encountered this problem in other cases/websites.
I have tried to scan my laptop for viruses with Symantec Endpoint Protection and SuperAntiSpyware 4.45.1000. But nothing suspicious was found.
