Everytime I click on a youtube video it says "an error has occured. please try again later"
So. Its been happening for a while now.
When I go on IE and Google Chrome, Youtube works just fine.
However, when I go on Mozilla, The video would not load and there is a pop up that says
"''an error has occured. Please try again later.''''
I updated my flash player and Mozilla as well.
I've also cleared all my cookies and cache as well as my history.
Plus, I uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla but nothing works.
Also find that its not only youtube but any video player as well.
Help please?
There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: [[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox]].

Videos embedded in facebook and livejournal posts say "an error has occurred, please try again later" when I click on them. (This doesn't happen in Internet Explorer.) I have the latest flash player, and the only firewall in use is Windows Firewall. Popups are blocked.

I looked at KB25882 and my settings are good, so that didn't help.
I had this problem over a year ago, and someone at RIM found a bit set that shouldn't have been set and fixed it (that is my terminology for what happened).
I am really looking for a way to contact RIM directly. I hate going through the mill with my carrier to get it escalated to RIM for resolution...... <sigh>

Each time I click on "sign in" , OR EVEN "create a new account", it keeps giving me a message to some effect of, "An error has occured, please try again later." It also includes some four or five digit number in parenthesis. I've tried to fix this but have no clue how to remove the error message and proceed. Can someone please give me a break-down of how to fix it? I need to redeem a gift card, and also obviously want to have access to purchase other items. Thanks.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Error has occured please try again later when using youtube
I have reinstalled the flash plugin numerous times and it fixes the issue for a short while then it comes back. I am not sure what else I can do to fix this. Its very annoying. I see there is something about cookies with this issues but not sure how to do that fix. I watch a lot of youtube videos and I am going to have to resort to using google chrome instead of FF.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

I tried the advises with cookies and cache but it is still not working. i have windows vista and now i installed firefox 17.0. chrome is playing videos normally. I have no idea what is wrong, I have installed the same firefox on windows 7 to my friend few days ago and it was no problem with youtube. I have flashplayer 11.

"I click on a YouTube video, an error message shows on the screen saying: "An error occurred, please try again later. Learn more" with a black background. I am pretty sure all of you guys have experienced it at least once. However, this phenomenon occurs every time I click a video. I cleared my cookies, updated my Adobe flash player, enabled java script, and updated Firefox. But these did not solve my problems. Help me out please!"
Someone replied to my question, saying that I should disable my adobe accelerator, which I have done. However, the youtube videos still do not load and the error message keep coming up. I am getting really frustrated. I have tried everything. Firefox 3.6.3 wont play embedded youtube videos. It comes up with "an error occurred please try again later. this happens all the time. If you click to go to youtube the clip plays.

Every time Firefox openedI was having the same issue up until I found a solution myself a few minutes ago. If you have "Accept Third Party Cookies" un-checked it will not allow the embedded "Third party" youtube videos to load. You can either Check the box to allow third party cookies or add an exception to allow youtube.com WITHOUT the www. You just want it to be Youtube.Com.
To do so just go to Tools: Options: Privacy: Exceptions: Type in Youtube.com and click Allow. Then click Close and OK. It should start working immediately. -
Embedded YouTube videos always result in "An error occurred, please try again later."
No matter what website I'm no, all embedded videos on youtube pages result in the player window loading everything but the video (buttons, timebar, related videos, etc) but never the video itself. Instead it's a black box with "An error occurred, please try again later" displayed.
If I go to the video's page on the actual YouTube, it plays without a problem. Embedded videos that aren't from youtube work fine, too. This only occurs with YouTube videos embedded in other non-youtube pages. This only occurs with FF (the past few versions, too), Chrome works just fine, and on several different computers (XP, Vista x64, and 7 x64).
Also, clearing Cache does nothing, nor does clearing cookies.The problem is with the the [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1781785 Third Party Cookies]

Youtube "an error occurred, please try again later."
I keep getting the message on youtube "an error occurred, please try again later." I've tried all of the recommended solutions to no avail. The funny thing is, the advertisements play just fine, but the actual video won't. Any ideas?
Most YouTube content requires Flash ...
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
If you are viewing YouTube from Safari, press Command + Option + E to empty the Safari cache.
Quit and relaunch Safari, try a video.
If that doesn't help, you may have the YouTube HTML5 beta enabled.

This happens every once in awhile. Just give it some time and it usually fixes itself. If it still doesn't work, try deleting the cookies in your web browser. Post back if it is working or not please.
