Everytime I Click On An App the Screen Goes Black then to the Menu

Everytime that I click on an app (except the preset ones from apple), the screen goes black (or to the initial start up screen for that app) and then goes to the main menu. HELP!
PS:
I've tried restoring it, AND removing all apps and putting certain ones back on. Neither worked.

I have an iphone 4 and all of a sudden none of the apps will work, except the ones that came with the phone. When I open them the screen goes black then it goes back to the homescreen.
Also when I plug the phone into itunes it only gives me the option to either restore or eject the phone. Up until today I never had any problems, I sync it regularly and all the software (inc itunes) is up to date. The last time I backed it up was about a month ago when I got the phone, (a replacement as my other iphone4 had loads of problems) so I don't want to have to restore it and lose everything off it!
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

Firefox comes on, I go to a site rich w/ visual content & then the screen goes black & then white w/ with a bubble from the bottom bar saying recovery from igfx display failure..this used to happen on my Chrome browser (the Chr browser recovered spontaneously But I removed & reset it... still the problem went on & I quit using Chr for2-3 mos. There never was a problem on Opera. Hey! OPERA rule. As foe IE 8. That instrument is completely useless. Even all areon IE appears to be dead...Thanx!

I have had Similar issues in my case it only seems to happen when the laptop is plugged into power. also if you shine a light through the apple logo on the front of the case you can see the LCD is actually running as is the OS it would appear the backlight is off. In my case I can resume operation by taping the F1 or F2 keys. All be it an annoying finx it is at least a simple one

Before you do anything else, try charging via a wall outlet for a while, since its off. Then try turning it back on.
When you put the device into recovery mode it allows you to restore the device when no other options work. You do risk losing everything currently strored on the ipad itself. Hopefully you've performed regular backups either via itunes, icloud or both. Evern if you have synced content to either of those, you may not lose everything. All previous purchases have been saved in the itunes and app stores, so you can dowload them again.
while the ipad is off, press and hold the home button and plug the usb cord into the ipad. You should see a message pop up on the itunes window on your compoter screen that state it has discoverd an ipad in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore

New iMac Can't See HD and screen goes black then grey then black..etc.

Hi I've got a new 20" Alu iMac and it was working fine for the past 3 weeks. All of a sudden this morning starting it up the screen went completely grey then after a while the apple logo came on (I thought it was eventually starting) then it went completely black (this is normal just before the progress bar jumps in) but this time it didn't! , the screen just went to grey again and the cycle started again and kept going on like this for an hour. I tried starting up from the disk the iMac came with but under disk repair i could not see the HD and trying to reformat the HD it was just named 'Media'. When selecting the drive to format an error came up saying explain it could not be formatted in the selected format!!! There is only 2 options to format the drive.. Mac OS Standard and Unix.. Both did not work. Any suggestions? Thanks

Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you're eligible for onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine. Several times over the last few days while on safari my iPad spontaneously shuts off screen goes dark then goes to home screen what's going on and how do I fix it when I look at settings diagnostics it says that there is low memory ?

Safari crashes several times while on pinterest, screen goes black then goes to home screen when I start safari again it keeps doing the same thing. I checked the diagnostics page and there are several references stating low memory yet when I check the memory on the iPad there is plenty of memory help please

The memory that is low is the processor memory, not the overall storage space. Next time, before you go to that site, double tap the home button to see the task bar. You will see the list of apps siting in the recently used list. Most of them are not doing anything, but some of them are using up memory. Touch and hold any one of them until they jiggle, then close them all off by touching the minus sign.
Do that every so often to help the pad use it's memory wisely.
Some apps, and browser pages use a lot of memory, and do not give it back easily, causing what sis happening to you.
You can also get a similar result by rebooting. Press and hold the home and sleep buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider.

Just updated to Yosemite on my MBP. After shutdown now when I login, it starts the process (the bar starts to move), then the screen goes black, then it asks me to login again and this time it is a successful startup. Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Was a Restore one of the things tried.? [Attach the iPad to your computer and in iTunes click on your device. On the Summary page click on Restore and go through the process. Be sure to click YES to Restore from a previous backup.]

I have a phone 3g and everytime I go to open facebook or bejewelled blitz it will not load. It crashes and then the screen goes black for a few seconds before going back to the home screen.
