Everytime i close firefox, i get an error message about quicktime not working. 6 times.

browsing normally, close firefox, i get an error message about quicktime not working. i click ok. then another comes up. i click ok. 6 times total this error message comes up, every time i close firefox. really annoying.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Everytime I open firefox I get this "error message: xulItems[item].getAttribute is not a function", what is it why is it happening and how do I get it to stop?

This only happen when I 1st open Firefox. Nothing else is wrong and I don't think it messes with any of the functionality. It is primarily annoying.

When I open firefox I get an error message "update could not be installed check for duplcates"

Error message: The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox and try again.
I have uninstalled all versions of Firefox. Then went to the Internet through Explorer and downloaded from scratch. A few days later I started getting the message again.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and delete the Firefox program folder to remove any leftover files.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

had this problem but now sorted.
Go to settings for google shortcuts, follow link to homepage and upload latest version, it has not yet been approved by Firefox, but works and solves the bug.
