Everytime I download mountain Lion, it always stop at 156mb and says " an error has occurred". I need help?
I need help because Mountain lion downloads but when it gets to 156mb, itss calculating and then an error has occurred. What is the problem
Are you getting an error code?
Try resetting the App Store.
Reset Learned from Old Toad
If that doesn't work:
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store. Sign in and then reclick the Mountain Lion buy. It won’t charge you again.

i just bought Mountain Lion on the App Store but i have a huge problem. I can't download the Mountain Lion thing because it always tells me after 175mbs [or something like that], that i can't download it and i should check my internet connection. But my internet connection is alright i can surf and do all normal things,i also rebooted my router but it does not seem to help. Do you guys have a idea of how to fix that problem?There was a problem in the UK with BT HomeHub's and downloading Mountain Lion - BT replaced routers for the issue, worth ringing your ISP.

I need a way to either reinstall OS Lion or to complete the installation of Mountain Lion successfully.Depending on what OS the computer had on it, either boot into the Recovery Volume using command - R or by holding down the option key and selecting the Recovery Volume. If the computer was using pre-Lion OS, boot from the disks that came with the computer.
Run Disk Utility and see if you can repair the hard drive. Also try Repairing Permissions. If successful, try a normal restart. -

In "purchases" while in my App Store, Mountain Lion says, "an error has occurred" and the green 'download' button is grey and I cannot re-start the download. I was abroad when I purchased this app and during download, my internet connection was lost. At the time, Apple was still offering the e-chat, so I did that and the man was very helpful and it was a quick fix, so my download button turned green again, and I was able to begin the download. BUT during the download, I was kicked offline once again, and I decided to wait until I was back in the USA. I will go in to an Apple store and ask assistance, but if there is something I am missing, I'd like to try that first. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I downloaded Mountain Lion from being on Snow Leopard and lost my entire Office 2004 suite, including Entourage which was my main email server. If I download Office 2008, will I retrieve all my lost Entourage email folders?
Other options?It's not that simple. You didn't lose your Office 2004 suite. Office 2004 won't run in Mountain Lion. You need to update your Office software. You need to purchase either Office 2008 or 2011. Either one can run in Mountain Lion.

Every time I try to download Lion, the download, the download appears to start, but then stops, saying an error has occured, with nothing downloaded, and the App icon disappears from the dock.
Has anybody else experienced similar?same problem and precisely with the OS X lion up to date program.
I called apple but they said there's nothing they can do for now. there are many problems they are trying to resolve and one of them is the up to date program.
the only solution available they said is to wait. but they didn't specify for how long.
One would think that they'd test their solution well when they took the decision to make the OS available only though the appstore or at least offer a back up solution should people be unable to obtain it like it is the case for us. -
A download, iPhoto, Version 9.4.2, released November 2012; has been on my download page for three weeks. Despite a half dozen attempts to install it, it has never completed the download. Near the end it always says an error has occurred. What can I do? The unit onto/into which I am attempting to install this is a new MacBook Air.

I tried. It would not download. A drop down notice said an error had occurred and to return to the purchase page; which I have done on numerous occasions. (What I am to do on the purchase page I am not sure, other than to click on purchases and see that the same iPhoto download is available. By the way, this was not purchased. It just showed up with two other items free items, which did download nicely.)

How do I get a driver for my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 so that it will run with Mountain LIon? I tried "Software Update" and says "no update available". I contacted Epson and was told all driver updates had to be obtained using "Software Update"?

I have been trying to update via App Store and every time only with apple software it starts to download and it will says it's calculating time remaining then an error message pops up saying " An error has occurred the request timed out. (102)" I have tried everything , I've been told its my ISP but I have tried using differenet internet to attempt the updates. Like I said all other software updates fine its just apple software

just bought a new I-Mac. At start up several updates were needed. The I-movie one stopped and shows an ERROR HAS Occurred. Howevr it does not allow me to update it again. In my purchases it shows as Installed with Error. What should I do?
