Though Setup.exe shows up at the Processes Tab of Windows Task Manager *Troll*
Anyone had the same problem before?
Oh Btw, I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.
Running as administrator and troubleshooting compatibility don't work also.

     It's After Effects CS4.
     The computer would be a DELL XPS M1530 running with (though not supported) a Windows 7 Home Premium.
     Are what is stated above all your needed information?

Cannot start "Dreamweaver_12_LS16.exe" - Nothing happens

I am installing the trial version of Dreamweaver CS6 and when I run "Dreamweaver_12_LS16.exe" nothing happens, I have tried running as admin.. same thing.
However, when I go through my process list I notice that Adobe Extractor is running but there is no GUI that opens or any actual extraction/folder creation to the default dreamweaver path.

When clicking SetUp.exe, nothing happens. SharePoint related question.

It appears I am missing a file. How can I confirm that my .img file is complete? What file should be executing when I click the setup.exe or setup.cmd (install sharepoint server)? Note, my prerequisite file completed without error.

If you're downloading the file from MSDN (and likely the VL Download Center, but I do not have access to confirm), the images have a SHA-1 hash. You can use the FCIV utility to validate that what you downloaded matches what Microsoft has posted for the SHA-1
hash of the file.

D/L the creative cloud upgrades fro LR 2015, PS cc and Bridge and came back a 1/2 hour later and CC indicated the d/l was complete. When I click to start LR 2015 nothing happens. I cannot get LR or PS started. Previous versions start.

Nothing happens after starting setup.exe

I downloaded the web premium CS4. When i try to install (setup.exe) i first get the administrator box to continue, after that i can wait for hours but nothing happens. I didn't have any problem installing the other CS4 software like Premiere pro CS4.
Vista 32 ultimate.
please help me out so i can start working.

extra information,
when i run setup for premiere CS4 and open the setup in windows task the size is the same as the setup folder.
when i run setup for web premium CS4 and lopen the setup in windows task the size is 0,0 mb.
think this is the reason why the setup wont start.

Unable to "Continue" setup. Nothing happens when I press Continue.

I've just plugged in my brand new Airport Express and started running the Airport Utility. I've given the device and network names and passwords but when I hit "Continue" on the Network name & password page of the set up nothing happens. I could hit "continue" all night and still nothing happens.

OK, let's try this:
o Power up the AirPort Express (AX) and let it run a few minutes
o Hold in the reset button on the device until you see the amber light begin to blink more quickly and keep holding another 4-5 seconds when you see this, then release
o Wait 40-45 seconds for the AX light to slowly blink amber and then connect the ethernet cable from the modem to the AX.
Open AirPort Utility - click Manual Setup
Click the *Base Station* tab located just below the row of icons
AX Name = Your choice
AX Password = Your choice...write this down
Confirm Password
Enter check mark next to Remember password
Enter check mark next to Set Time Automatically
Adjust Time Zone
No check mark next to Allow Setup over WAN
No check mark next to Allow setup over Internet
Click the Wireless tab next to the Base Station tab
Wireless Mode = Create a wireless network
Wireless Network Name = Your choice
No check mark next to Allow network to be extended
Radio Mode = 802.11n (802.11b/g compatible)
Radio Channel = Automatic
Wireless Security = WPA2 Personal
Wireless Password = Your choice...write this down
Confirm Password
Check mark next to Remember password
Click the Internet icon
Connect Using = Ethernet
Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address
Click Update and let the AX restart. If you see a message about Double NAT, click "ignore"
The AX should now be providing a wireless network and you should be able to log on to that network with your computer, enter the wireless password and connect to the Internet.
Post back on your results. There is another way to set things up, but it involves some changes to your modem and you will need to know both your user name and password for your service provider to do this. If the setup above will work, you should probably go with that.

I downloaded and set up Photoshop. When I click on the 'exe', nothing happens.

I'm using Windows 7. I have the extract files on my desktop. When I set up the application, it saved to my program files. I clicked on the EXE and nothing happened. I moved the folder that contained the EXE and all other files, moved to my desktop and tried from there. Still nothing happens.

AlyxNYC first you will want to move the application back to either Program Files or Program Files (x86) depending on your operating system. Photoshop will have difficulty launching if it is not in it's installed location.
Beyond that do you receive a specific error message? What version of Windows are you using?

IBook G3 wont start...nothing happens...Please help!

My iBook G3 wont start-up. It was fine yesterday but today when i turned tried to turn it on it was completely unresponsive.
When presing the power button nothing happens, no hard drive spin up, no noises...nothing.

I'm sorry, Dean, but the Geniuses were correct. The iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program is not a recall in the truest sense of the word, and only covers the specific logic board problem dealing with video. It has never covered any and all logic board problems.

How to reset your SMC >>
Run fsck.
1. Reboot/Startup holding your Command-S key down.
2. At the command line type the following and hit 'Return.'
/sbin/fsck -fy
3. After it has check/repaired your disk, type 'reboot' and hit 'Return' again. Unit should bootup normally.

I have downloaded the latest version of Itunes and it will not start up. Nothing happens when I click on the icon or go to the program itself and click. Help please?

Thank you christ1. That worked. I did try running it with administrator, but I hadn't rebooted and it didn't work. It did work after I rebooted. I don't know why that should have mattered, but there you go. Thank you again.

I can't download any applications on my macbook pro, it starts but then nothing happens

Every time I try to download any application, for example today I am trying to download Gimp for Mac, the window goes blank and in the browser it looks like it's loading but then nothing comes up. I have tried creating a new user account but the same thing happens when I download in that one. I think it is a system issue but I am not technically minded and so struggle to figure out what is happening. I can download itunes, apps from the app store. But nothing else. Even flashplayer updates don't download. Can someone help me because it is increasingly frustrating! I am needing Gimp for Mac in order to open up software I need for a new course I am doing, which means I need it today!! Thank you to anyone if they can help.

hi . I had the simalar problems of my HP b209a-m printer not being seen on my wireless network> I could not add the printer and could not get the printer to join my network, I found this post at HP discussion and it worked!
Each printer has different options/settings but it seems like the general idea should work ok if you can reset printer back to factory settings and find Printer IP Adress.
This is for HP printers
1. On the printer navigate to the Wireless or Network menu.
2. Select Restore Defaults.
3. On your computer look for a wireless network named 'hpsetup' and connect to it.
4. Print a Wireless Network Test from the front of the printer to see its IP address. (on my b209a-m Printer the IP info was found by pressing the Wireless Icon)
5. Type the IP address into the address bar of a web browser to see the printer's internal settings.
6. Click on the Network tab and look for the Wireless Setup Wizard and run it.
7. The Passphrase is the password you use on your wireless connection.
8. Now change the network name on your computer back to your wireless network.
The printer will now be connected to your network. With your the computer backyour wireless network network, you can re-add the printer from System Preferences.

So when I start up my itunes the icon at the bottom my screen has the glowing dot, and I can even right click on it. I can try to close it, but it won't close or even let me move into trash unless I use "force quit" from my apple drop bar. If I click on the itunes icon at the bottom of the screen, the top bar show's all of the tines stuff, but if I click on any of them all options are grey, and I can't use them. It won't show up on my screen at all. I've tried deleting itunes from my applications and then reinstalling the latest version, and I've tried restarting my computer. Any idea on what i should do?
