Everytime i try to download a file that i've purchesed i get a currupted file prompt? ***?

So once upon a time I bought a song, then while it was downloading it continued to download,over and over again about 5 times, each time getting to the desired amount of MB to be completed only to restart again....then i get this error prompt saying " it seems this file is corrupted" and that i should try again from the available download store menu...did that again and again and again, no avail..the files doesn't show up anywhere on my computer... redownloaded Itunes.no help..... could it just be the song? anyone else ever been faced with this? any suggestions would be appreciated

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Reset the device:

Everytime I try to download a movie I purchased on itunes, I get the network timed out msg. I am using my verizon internet card with my ipod touch. For some reason, it will not recognize the wireless connection we have in places we travel to. My computer connects to whatever wireless connection but my ipod says not found. Never lists available networks around us like my computer does. Also, I can't seem to find a number to call the itunes store for help downloading the movies I purchased. That is telling you that the payment method you specified is not valid, e.g., iTunes tried to make a temporary hold to verify the method (see link in my first reply) and it was not accepted.

This may be hard to believe, but I think my problem was that the built-in WiFi adapter on my HP desktop had
gotten flaky. I switched to a Buffalo USB WiFi and the problem immediately disappeared. I never saw any errors, etc. from the Ralink adapter. Strange. Might try another type of connection to the Internet.

We have an application built using HTMl 5 and Javascript running on IPad2, iOS5.1 Safari 5.1.
When a file url is clicked instead of asking for Save or Open or Cancel options, the file gets opened on IPad by default.
Is this default behaviour which cannot be changed or can it be configured to ask user preference?
When we try to download a file(.pvw file -> a model file) in the above application, safari throws "Download failed" error.
Please suggest what needs to be done.

Safari on an iPad in general does not allow downloading of files. That's a safety precaution in the iOS SDK to keep unauthorized content off of iOS devices. Safari will open from the web site file types that it can handle, but direct downloading isn't normal behavior, and I don't believe the behavior can be changed, though you can try asking in the developer forum, either here or the one to which you have access as a member of Apple's iOS developer program.

What is the exact wording of the message?
If it is asking for a security code you need to log into your iTunes account and add the three digit security code usually found on the back of your credit card.
If something else let us know what the message said.

Everytime I try to download Quicktime the DEP in Vista shuts IE down. Vista will not allow me to turn DEP off for quicktime. It says to find a DEP compatible program.

Mail is crashing while processing junk. Try this:
1. Make sure Mail is not running.
2. In the Finder, go to HOME/Library/Mail/.
3. Locate LSMMap2 and move it to the Trash. If you see an LSMMap file there, move it to the Trash too.
4. Locate MessageRules.plist and move it to the Desktop. If there is a file called MessageRules.plist.backup, move it to the Desktop too. You may also see MessageSorting.plist files there; this is where Mail 1.x stored the rules, and they are no longer used by Mail 2.0, so just move them to the Trash if you see them.
5. Look for the account folders. The name of each account folder starts with the account type (POP, IMAP, Mac), followed by the account username and the incoming mail server. Open each of the account folders, locate the Junk.mbox folders and move these to the Trash. Note: As a result of doing this, all mail automatically marked as junk by Mail will be lost. If there is a chance that you have legit messages there and you want to preserve them, move them to another mailbox in Mail first -- you may prevent Mail from crashing by shutting down your Internet connection first.
6. Go to HOME/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/. Locate any Junk.mbox folders there (their name may include the account name in parenthesis), and move them to the Trash. Pay attention to any legit messages that could be there, as in the previous step.
7. Launch Mail. Go to Mail > Preferences > Junk Mail, enable junk filtering again, and configure it however you wish. You may want to shut down the Internet connection before launching Mail to prevent it from downloading anything until the junk mail filter has been enabled.
If the above solves the problem and you don't have any rules you'd like to preserve or recreating them is not a daunting task, just delete the MessageRules.plist files that were moved to the Desktop and be done with it.

Before activating my iPhone I downloaded the most recent iTunes. I even went back today I reset my password after some minor research made the suggestion. I sent an e-mail off to to Apple last night after their Apple tech was no help at all. He is the one that suggested the e-mail and that he could not help me. I am really frustrated at this point. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out. I was extremely excited about getting my new iPhone 4 and now I am just over it! Help please!!!

In between, I got a messge about verifying my payment method. When I tried to submit the details, I kept getting a mmessage stating that my payment method was declined (my card is not near it's expiration date, and works fine).

It sounds like you are unable to successfully install iTunes. I recommend the troubleshooting instructions in this article named:

Here is a general outline of where the troubleshooting will take you:
General installation troubleshooting
1. Empty your Temp directory and restart
2. Completely remove iTunes and related components
3. Install the latest version of iTunes
Additional troubleshooting
After performing each of the steps below, you will need to completely remove iTunes and related components and then install iTunes again to determine whether the issue is resolved.
1. Make sure you have administrator account access
2. Make sure your folder names don't contain strange characters
3. Get the latest Windows updates
4. Disable other conflicting software
Additional Information
If you only need to install QuickTime, or if iTunes installs but QuickTime installation did not complete
Try downloading and installing the standalone version of QuickTime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. Be sure you download the version that does not include iTunes.

I was originally having problems downloading itunes because I couldn't get Quicktime and Itunes off my computer, but I download a program called Byetunes that completely deleted itunes from my computer. Unfortunately now every time it gets finish downloading Quicktime it stops and shows this message:
Itunes Installer Interrupted.
The installer was interrupted before the requested operations for Itunes could be completed. Your system has not beem modified. To complete these operations at a later date, please run the installer again.
Does anyone know what I should do to fix my problem!?

Unfortunately I do not know what byeitunes does, but I have just seen another thread in which there was trouble installing iTunes after using byeitunes.
As a first step when you say +Everytime I try to download itunes it says, Itunes Installer Interrupted?+
Are you saving the installer on your PC before attempting to install iTunes. Do that if you haven't already done so.
Then try installing itunes again and give the full text of any error message.
Look in your Event Viewer to see if there are any error messages there around the time of the install
To find the event viewer, right click on my computer and select manage.
