Everytime I try to use "send link" Firefox crashes! How can I fix this?

Every time I click on "Send Link" to send a webpage to someone, Firefox will crash. This has only started recently, used to be able to do this. I believe the box says "Firefox has unexpectedly stopped working, then closes

If you still have your old card listed on your account then try selecting the 'none' option and remove it and then try entering the card's details from scratch. If that doesn't work then what is the full error message that you are getting, and the card is registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing) that you have on your iTunes account ?

Hannahdb1 what specific Adobe applications are you attempting to reinstall? Do you receive any specific error messages? Finally what version of Mac OS are you using?

Make sure you kill any firefox process that is still running. You probably have an error in the path location that the sartup link is pointing to. If you are trying to open two instances at once (I often do that) then you need to use the switch ''''-no-remote''''

My bookmarks keep disappearing at random, and will also disappear every time I try to organize them into folders. How can I fix this?

I use Firefox 3.6.20 on a Macbook. Almost every bookmark I attempt to save will disappear immediately after doing do. Also, when I'm trying to organize my bookmarks into folders, doing so often makes the bookmarks disappear as well, rather than placing them in the selected folder. The action of dropping them in a folder will either multiply the bookmark into three bookmarks, or make it go away completely. How can I fix this?

The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) is for displaying the bookmarks in different sorting orders (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.
In Firefox the option to sort bookmarks is only available for folders and not for individual bookmarks. 
Easiest to sort by name is to do that in the left pane of the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) and right-click the folder that you want to sort.

TS2998 Help! My Mac mail uses another person's name in stead of mine in the "from" heading when trying to send e-mail. How can I fix this?

Mac mail started using another person's name instead of mine. In the "From" line it shows someone other than me so the receipient will not know I am sending them an e-mail. HELP!, This is crazy. Is there a fix?

Does this problem happen EVERY time you send an email?
Do you see the wrong FROM entry before you hit the send button? Or does the recipient report seeing another name other than yours?
Do you recognize the incorrect name being shown? Is it something you or someone else using your machine have ever used? Is it a name you have never heard of before?
Go to your SENT folder in Apple Mail. What do you see when you open one of your SENT emails, in the FROM slot? Is the name correct or incorrect?
Also, I don't understand your comment "I noticed it when I try to send a link via e-mail to another person." are you saying that when you paste a link into an email to someone that your name in the FROM field changes? Where are you putting the link, in what place in the email?

After a crash, lots of audiobooks have somehow moved to Music folder, and links are broken - how can I fix this?

Wow, I'm surprised the forums accepted that long a title.
Anyway, the computer crashed. I started again, and when opening iTunes after the crash ... something happened. There was a prompt that I idiotically didn't write down (Moving Library? Updating Library?), that kept going for hours, and eventually I just gave up and shut it down. That was probably stupid. Also evidence of significant things happening: the next Time Machine backup was 60GB+, so something big had changed.
As best I can tell, lots of my Audiobooks (and I've got MANY) now have broken links - when I look in the "iTunes Media" folder, many of the files that were once in the "Audiobooks" folder are now in the "Music" folder instead. All are still in the same subfolder as before: so audiobook files that were in "Audiobooks / BBC Melvyn Bragg" are now in "Music / BBC Melvyn Bragg", for example. So far I've only found Audiobooks that have been messed up in this way. Music and iTunes U and Podcasts seem to be unchanged, but maybe I just haven't noticed those problems yet.
And obviously I want to fix this.
Note that my iTunes library is set to "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized". All of the organization is what iTunes has done.
Option 1: can I just restore from a Time Machine backup? If so, what should I restore? There have been a few changes in the metadata in the 3-4 days since the crash, but I'm not overly concerned with that.
Option 2: can I just use Finder and move the files back? This would seem the "easiest" option to me. Although lots (hundreds? thousands?) of audiobook files have been moved, they're within only a couple of dozen different folders. Dragging them back into the correct folder would be easy - but what kind of havoc would that wreak on the database system?
Option 3: go through each track and find the file. I can do this. It'll take hours and hours and hours. I don't want to do this.
Slightly different question: how can I make a smart playlist of all the files with broken links? (I'm still trying to get a handle on just how big this problem is.) I've found suggestions about (1) making a smart playlist of everything, (2) dragging all of those into a normal playlist, and (3) making a new smart playlist of whatever's in #1 but not in #2, but that doesn't seem to be working for this situation. Is that advice now outdated, or is there something unique to my situation?

Following up: I went with Option 2 above, and it seems to have worked quite well. I didn't even need to quit iTunes. After the files were moved, the exclamation marks remained at first, until I played the file, or restarted iTunes - now all seems well, until the next crash anyway.

No third party apps, no signatures, we've cleared out contacts and are using just the numbers. She ended up dropping her phone and got a new one. She has a Galaxy S5, I'm still on my Lumia 928.
I did a live chat with someone here, based on her suggestions we both power off our phones, remove/replace simm cards, restart phones regularly and this issue is still occurring.

I think you meant to say, Links always take you into Internet Explorer, not Windows Explorer (that is the file manager, it is not a real browser). This is a Windows setting - Mozilla cannot make Outlook to behave, but Windows can. But first, open your Mozilla browser on any old website, and have Internet Explorer closed. Next, open Add or Remove Programs (it is opened from its item in Windows Control Panel - if the W.C.P. is not in your START-button menu, open the Control Panel via My Computer) and look for the left-side menu bar. Left-click on the icon marked "Set Program Access and Defaults." Left-click the "Custom" radiobutton, and it will show you the list of Defaults that Microsoft has already set for you, or maybe you will need to click on the little double-down arrow at upper right, to see the list. [Microsoft always has it set to Internet Explorer, for the browser.] You want to change that, so, if Mozilla or Firefox be shown here, select its radiobutton; if not shown, select the radiobutton for the "current Web browser." Leave the checkmark in the checkbox for Internet Explorer - you might need to run it in event Mozilla crashes or comes down with a virus - some time in the future. My firefox os won't let me send txts only mms how can i fix this problem

Up until yesterday my phone was fine but since i recharged yesterday ive been unable to send any txt messages. I can recevice all calls and txts and make calls and send mms messages but when i try to send a normal txt it tells me that my service is unavalible.
My phone is only a few months old and all software is up to date. I even brought a new sim today but still the same problem. Please help

Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Software that you install with Microsoft keyboard and mice, (latest version) allows you to disable your windows key so that you don't accidentally hit it when gaming. When I take advantage of this feature, I can no longer type in Firefox. Typing in Firefox is completely disabled. Other browsers, windows, applications work, but not Firefox. What is it about the windows key that firefox needs for typing. Strange problem, but annoying because I have to use a different browser while game. Certainly not a deal breaker, but kinda strange.
