Everytime I want to print to any one of my three connected printers, Firefox crashes. Why?

How do I stop Firefox from crashing when I attempt to print to any one of my three printers, even the default one? All are controlled by printer switches.
One is a Dell 720 Photo Printer, another one is a Canon BJ 4100, and the third is a Panasonic KX-P2023.
All printers are properly programed as they work great with IE8 on another computer.

If you are printing via a Windows shared printer and it is the Windows user account that you are being prompted for then you can save this in the Keychain, as shown below.

Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.

Have you installed all the updates for Photoshop?
And what does the crash report say?
Most of these issues turn out to be bugs in the printer driver software, but some are curable by resetting Photoshop preferences (which also resets the "last used" printer info).

Please post a copy of the latest crash report.
Go to your Applications Folder and open your Utilities Folder. Open the application Console.
In the left-hand column, click on Crash Reporter.
Click on the small triangle under Crash Reporter in the l/h column and they will all be listed.
Scroll down to the latest Safari report and click on it.
Now click on the r/h column (which now only shows THAT crash report and then Command-a to copy it all.
Come back here and Command-v it to post it here!

Most Safari problems are due to unsupported plug-ins, add-ons, custom toolbars, or "input manager" software, some of which you may not know you have acquired.
You best bet is to ask in the Safari forums:

Save a crash report and post it in that forum. People there are amazing at decoding those reports and finding the culprits,

Firefox 6.0 is the current version.
Get what denoted in what properties link.
You can get the version number in Help -> About Firefox,
and in '''about:support''' typed into the Location bar, and you can use JavaScript to list the user agent -- javascript:navigator.userAgent
I'm not aware of any version of Firefox from Fx 2 on up to Fx 6 where "AVG Safe" is not a problem. Crashes aren't the only failures caused.

I would be happy to help. Are you trying to use the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer to print to PDF? If so, have you installed and configured this printer yet? (If not, it's available only on Windows, so please let me know what OS you're using.)

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

Have MacBook Pro, Airport Extreme router, Mtn Lion 10.8.1 and want to print wirelessly with HP 3054 610a which was installed 2 days ago via USB. Prefer to set up the printer on the wifi network, but how do I enter ssid and passphrase. On the printer control panel only has WPS option.

Perhaps not quite what you're after, but I use Datagrams to talk between an applet and a servlet. I found this much easier than trying to set up a socket connection myself. Check the java tutorial for an example

Printer error using Time Capsule with Vista64 and HP printe. Any one else?

I'm running Time Capsule with my MacBook and Vista 64 PC, and trying to print on a HP5510 All-in-one.
The Time Capsule is set up according to the manual and I can print wirelessly from the MacBook. Also, the MacBook and the PC can both access the TC HD.
The problem comes when I'm trying to print with the PC. It will print about 3/4 of the page and stop, showing an error. At that point, I cannot purge/cancel/restart the print job. I need to shut down the PC and printer to get rid of the error.
Anyone else have this problem?
