Before you do it make sure your phone is connected by cable to a USB port directly on your computer, not a hub, and, if it is not a laptop, to a USB port on the back, not the front.

I could be in the middle of texting, receiving a call or using an app when all of a sudden the screen goes black and very faint randomly distributed lines are visible from the top of the screen to the bottom. My 16gb iPhone 4S keep tell me that my storage is almost full and I don't have enough space for any upgrades. I don't have any music or videos on my phone. I deleted all old emails, texts, contacts and apps but still nothing. When I check my settings, I noticed that my Instagram is at 732mb and it keeps rising. Now it's at 814mb. Please help!!!!!

My iphone 4s keeps saying it does not have enough icloud storage and icloud cannot be backed up. When I go to icloud Storage & Backup in my settings, it says that I have 5.0 GB total and 5.0 GB available. The only thing I have selected, at this point, to be backed up are my contacts and the Find My iPhone app. Why does it always say I have no icloud storage available when I have ALL of the icloud storage available?!
It says that my next backup size is 7.3 GB, but I have no idea why, because the only thing selected is the Find iPhone app, which takes up 0.2 KB...How do I get rid of whatever it THINKS it's backing up?

Hi. I have recently finished with an emplyer and have backed up my phone and when i go to restore the back up to another phone it is asking me to turn off the "find my iphone" before the restore can start. Pronlem is im no longer in possesion of this phone and can not turn it off.
Any assistance would be greatIt's not referring to your old phone, it's referreing to the one you're trying to restore to. Where did you get the phone you're trying to restore the backup to?

Why don't I see the airplay icon in my settings? I have the ios7 installed now my netflix won't work as need to turn off mirroring..... And the airplay device is not installed.... Anyone help on this?.
Reboot your router. The icon only shows when connected to wifi and Apple TV or similar device. Same thing happened with my phone and the icon appeared in control center after router reboot.

My iphone 5 died so I plugged it back in to charge and it will not turn on. It will turn to the screen with the apple logo and black screen then turn off again. Any suggestions?
I leave it charging until it gets back to full, usually it turns on after a little bit of time after plugging it in, but all its doing is going to the apple logo screen and going blank again.

I had to get a new i phone and I backed up all contacts and photos to i cloud and now I can't get them back onto my new iphone. Any advice?

That's normal behavior. It turns off automatically in order to preserve the battery. Pushing the On/Off button turns it on immediately. This also requires entering the passcode and prevents the phone from being accessed by anyone but you.

My iPhone 3G 16gb in white: I did all the things you mentioned, but it just keep looping the Apple logo and doesn't turn off until it is out of battery, and I am using a MacBook Pro 15inch Unibody if that does matter
