  • EWA: error message in CRM check for SAP Solution Manager system

    Hello!
In EWA report for SAP Solution Manager system I have seen error message: Many CSA* inbound queues in error status were detected in your system. As a result of this BDocs have not been delivered. And then table
Queue Name                                Status     Date of first entry             Entries
    CSABUPA0000000070           READY     03.12.2007                          45
    CSABUPA0000000934           READY     07.05.2008                          45
    CSAIBASE0000000000           READY     23.11.2007                          36
    CSA_ORDER_8000000000      READY     22.11.2007     5
    CSA_ORDER_8000000001      READY     22.11.2007     3
    and others.
I looked transaction smq2. There are 11300 queues in it. Is it actual error or it is a normal situation? And that must I do, to remove an error?
Edited by: Mariya Kurbatova on Jul 2, 2009 6:27 AM

    Hi,
Usually problems with hanaging CSA* queues are caused because too many
indiviaual queues are created for the qRFC resources to handle. You can
limit the number of queues as described in note 763680.
Note 763680 would be useful if all of your qRFC resourcesa are in use
when you have a great number of queues. With a large number of dialog
WPs on the system it would probably make sense to reduce the amount
    as described in the note.
the casue when you have this problem would be to check SMQR -> GOTO ->
qRFC resources. You can also see if most of your dailog WPs are in use
    in SM50.
    Also refer to note 758677.
Please schedule report RSQIWKEX (Inbound) to run as described in the
    note.
And since your title has mentioned that the EWA is on your CRM satellite system; this maybe a further good reference too
When you replicate lots of data from CRM to R/3, there could be a qRFC
resource problem. In this case, the numebr of queues created can be
reduced by implementing the attached note 356228, particularly solution
    2.
    For CSA* queues is slightly different from the one decribed in note;
this is because the CSA queues exchange data within the CRM system.
The steps described should be followed, except that table SMOFQFIND
must be used instead of CRMQNAMES. In this table, fields TR_SNAEMS and
SEGM_FLD are equivalent to the CRMQNAMES fieds BAPISTRUCT and BAPIFLD
respectively. It should be possible to follow the solution 2 in the
note as long as you use SMOFQFIND instead of CRMQNAMES.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers,
    SH

  • Error : EWA error

    Hello all,
when i am scheduling the early watch alerts i get in the report
    the following message
"This service is currently not available. For details, see SAP Note 1040343"
i have checked in the market place but i did not find any solution.
    can anyone help me.
I am configuring on solman 4.0
i have configured correctly rfc's from master solman system to the child systems.
    i will definitely reward points.
    thanks
    srikanth

    Hi Srikanth,
Please replace the Service Definitions in your SAP Solution Manager
system as described in SAP Note 727998.
As of SAP Solution Manager 7.0 (= 4.0) Support Package Stack 15 (which
includes ST-PI 700_2005_1 SP06) you can trigger the required steps
    within transaction SDCCN:
Menu Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions ->
Select 'Delete and Replace Service Definitions -> Confirm this
selection-> Confirm that you want to delete the definitions -> Confirm
that a new task 'Service Definition Refresh' was created
Take a note of the task id -> Review the log for this task id when it
is completed. You should not see any errors for either the update
of a Service Definitions table or the generation of any re-import
    include.
If that does not solve your issue....I would recommend you to configure EarlyWatch Alerts again on all the remote systems using the below steps provided in the following link.

  • Earlywatch session

    Hello,
I have Solution Manager 3.2 installed with SP10.
I am trying to generate Early watch session for solution Manager itself.
I have created a solution and included the solution manager system in the solution.
I am getting the error "no system found in landscape" while trying to activate the earlwatch session.
    How to replicate the error:
    Tcode: solution_manager
choose the solution and click edit (go to solution directory)
Under the tab "System group" i have assigned the logical component for solution manager.
Switch to tab "Solution Settings" and click on "Setup EWA"
Error occured: no system found in landscape.
On the left pane if i expand the solution and click on either "system" or "server" both are empty.
I am not sure what configuration i have missed out.
Kindly suggest if you have come across such issues.
    All suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks and regards,
    Chetan

    HI Jason,
Thank You very much, with your solution two out of the threee issues are solved. Yes the solution became green and I can see my server under "systems" and "server".
But my first quesry that is activating EWA alert is still not happening. When i switch over to the soution settings tab and click on "Setup EWA" i still get:
    "No system in landscape".
If there is any thing additional kindly let me know. In the meantime i am going to add another system in Solution manager on monday and i will try for that and then get back to you.
    Thank You once again.

  • Error during configuration of EWA report

    Dear Experts,
I am configuring EWA for my Production system. I have maintained the system in SMSY and generated RFC destinations. The RFC check is in GREEN. I have activated the SDCCN in the satellite system. The satellite system is put in Solution. Everything looks correct. However, when i am running any task in SDCCN like "Refresh sessions", "Refresh Service definitions", it fails with the following error:

The RFC is working properly. I recreated the RFC many times but the same error. The RFC check is successful. I have removed all the RFCs and created them again in SMSY but to no avail.
    Please help.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
Did you get chance to check the Remote Login of the RFC and authorizations of the user?
Go to SDCCN of Satellite System.
    1. Check the status of Task Processor.
Menu "Goto->Settings->Task Processor"; Check Task Processor Status, make sure its active.
    2. Check the Task-Specific Settings
In t-code SDCCN --> Menu "Goto->Settings->Task-Specific" . Check the following under "Session Data Collection".
"Data request->Settings ". Confirm the checkbox is checked for "Allow Approximate Data Collection".
    "Maintenance->Settings".
"RFC Destinations->Settings" --> Make sure SOLMAN SID is maintained here along with SOLMAN Back RFC destination.

Have you reported the correct program name?
According my information, "RDSVASAEA_ROOT_____________061" has not been created (nor shipped to customers).
You stated, that the recommended SAP Note did not help. I would suggest to request help from SAP Support via a customer message on SV-SMG-SDD.

Error in system BPP (see long text for details)
    Message no. SOLAR_EN158
    Diagnosis
When using RFC destination SM_BPPCLNT001_READ, the following message has been returned from system BPP:  .
    Kindly help me  regarding this

    Hello,
In SMSY got to the system SID in question and expand it.
    Select the ABAP stack
    Highlight the production client
Clcik on the Check RFC Button (3rd RFC Button from left)
Clcik on Check RFC DESTINATION button.
It will cehck the *_READ, the *_TMW and the *_TRUSTED RFC conenctions
You have an error on RFC SM_BPDCLNT001_READ, so you should expect to see this and get mor edetails on the error with this check.
Here is an example of the output from a system where my user is not authoried to logon to a trusted system, and the error is on the *_TRUSTED RFC
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_READ check beginning
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_READ function checked
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_READ check ended
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TMW check beginning
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TMW function checked
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TMW check ended
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TRUSTED check beginning
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TRUSTED function error
@5C\QError@     RFC connection SM_SLMCLNT803_TRUSTED cannot be made (No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trusted RC=0).)
@5C\QError@     Function group SCCA cannot be called in RFC system SM_SLMCLNT803_TRUSTED
@5B\QInformation@     RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT803_TRUSTED check ended
You shoulkd see some error on the SM_BPDCLNT001_READ RFC,
Then you can click to get more details, and there may be additional Long Text data on the error.
This should help isolate the issue. If the RFC shows no errors then it is likely SDCC/SDCCN is not activated.
You can check the status on the managed system. You can also test the back RFC and the REDA, TMW and TRUSTED RFCs in SM59.

    Balaram
Edited by: balaram reddy on Apr 27, 2010 7:02 PM

Dear Balaram, Not sure if you have configured all 4 RFC connections to your SAP system.
Here is the procedure. Define the SAP satellite system in SMSY tcode of your SOLMAN system.
I would suggest you to create system using wizard by right clicking.
This will create all 4 rfc's, make sure you assign communication user in rfc connection.
Once it is done goto SMSY >  technical infrasturcture > adminster SDCCN > next screen you would need to select your satellite sytem and activate
this will take you to your remote(satellite system)
here you would need to configure Task processor job.
once task processor job is created create maintenance sessions.please do check that in your satellite system SAP Perf Monitor job is configured and running properly.
once the above activty is over. Login to your solution manager system and schedule SMEXE service job.
This will prepare the report as expected .
    Hope it helps.

  • EWA setup error

    Hi Guys,
In have configured EWA in our solman but the problem is no report is generated.
There is red flag icon under early watch, when i click on it , it asked me to call SDCCN which will take to the satellite system. and open SDCCN screen. i created Session_refresh task but no data is being generated.
Could you please guide me how to troubleshoot this?
    Regads
    Abhishek

    Hi Abi,
The EWA Report can be sent to SAP Using SAPOSS RFC Connection or can be sent to Solution Manager using RFC to
Solman SM_<SID>CLNT001_BACK to generate EWA Report.
Please Check and Specify the RFC, Time Period to Execute the EWA etc in maintenance package. Save.
after that Task is created. The data is collected from satellite and sent back to solution manager for generating EWA report.
Start the session immediately. Before that you sholud be activate the basic Setting via SPRO as
Basic Settings -> Standard Configuration of Basis Settings - Solution Manager -> Activate Solution Manager Services-->Enhanced configuration of SAP EarlyWatch Alert
Try it then Let me know.
