EWM deployment as an add on to ECC 6.0

We are implementing EWM as an add on to ECC 6.0. Anybody can please guide on step by step procedure to implement this? Is there a SAP best practice for implementing EWM? Please route to any useful documentation.

Vendor Migration issue for SRM as add-on to ECC

Hello Experts,
I am working on SRM as add-on to ECC.
When I am trying to migrate vendors from ECC to SRM using MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT. Within monitor, all queues are 'green' indicating that data has successfully migrated to SRM.
But when I check vendors in trx- ppomv_bbp, i don't see any vendor being migrated from ECC. Neither the BPs are crated for these vendor masters.
I have configured all necessary configuration- i.e.
1) I have carried out necessary settings in tables-
mdsv_ctrl_opt_a
crmc_but_call_fu
v_tbc001
2) In addition, I have maintained backend Purchase Org in PPOMA_BBP.
3) I have checked RFC connections, definition of logical systems and
it seems to be alright.
Can anybody please guide if I am missing on any config or can point
me in right direction to investigate??
At SRM GUI, I tried making a local vendor using 'BBPMAININT' but end up in a short-dump.
Can you please help?

if you problem is still existing, following might be possible solution. Try it.
Maintain Table BBP_MARKETP_INFO with corresponding Vendorroot ID (ex. VG50000....) that you already created in the PPOCV_BBP trx.

SRM 5.0 as an Add on with ECC 6.0

Even i have the same question on how we would manage the distibution model when the SRM System is installed as an add on with ECC. Since being on the same client here are some of the Questions. I have also opened a new thread on this.
1.) How would the distribution model be distributed when on the same client?
2.) How would the Documents flow between two different systems?
3.) In an SUS-MM scenario, how would this be handled when installed on the same client?
4.) How would material and vendor replication facilitated?
Any thoughts would be highly appreciated !!

I have answered for vendor replication here :
One Client Solution
For product category, material and material type replication, this is same process through activation of relevant objects in table mdsv_ctrl_opt_a
Then you have to trigger the replication through mds_load_cockpit
For SUS, you have to select SUS_ONE (instead of EBP_ONE) in table bbp_backend_dest

Are there any limitations if we go with SAP SRM 5.5 Server as an add-on on ECC 6.0 compared to Implementation of SAP SRM 5.5 server on its own.
FYI-We just have one ERP Back-end system.
BTW, what is the difference between SAP SRM server 5.5 vs SAP SRM server 5.5 Plus.

You can use classic scenario in Add-on.
You can use self-service procurement and SUS in Add-on.
You cannot have Sourcing and other scenarios.
No migration from Add-on to Separate server available.

In a security point of view the production SUS should stay in a independent server. I think that you have to see this with the security team. The vendor's companies are going to do log-on in your SUS system (via web).
Two years ago, analyzing SRM versus SRM add-on SAP told us that materials with MRP are not supported with the add-on so the company decided to do not use the SRM add-on. SAP told us that contract management is not supported also with the add-on.
We did not use the SRM add-on for other motives (MRP). Did you asked SAP his advice using SUS with the add-on.

General Understanding SRM as Add-On to ECC 6.0

Since I checked in this forum there is no configuration guide for SRM as Add-On available I have some general problems. Does SRM Add-On as single client installation with ECC 6.0 require replication and download of data objects and do I have to maintain the middleware parameters? If it is like this I understand why tere is no specific configration guide for SRM as Add-On!
In Detail:
When I configure SRM as Add-On do I have to replicate objects like product, product category, customizing (UOM), vendor from the backend as in stand alone implementation?
Do I also have to replicate organizational structure via report from the backend or can I use the organizational structure form the backend directly for the SRM?
Do I have to download the locations from the backend?

ECC 5.0 does not come with EBP or SRM. ECC 6.0 (ERP 2005) comes with SRM Server as an add-on. Only self service procurement and supplier enablement scenarios are supported. Not recommended for sourcing scenarios and multi-backend deployment options.

MDT 2012U1 / Windows 8 deployment - impossible to add a role when deploying windows with language pack

Hello,
I am having a problem deploying Windows 8 with language packs and adding at the same time a role/feature (netfx3).
What I have done is creating a Standard Client Task Sequence. In the task sequence I have added, in the State Restore phase, the step Install Roles and Features (where only .Net Framework 3.5 is selected). I have configured nothing else !
If I use this task sequence, everything is ok; Windows 8 is well deployed and NetFx3 feature is installed.
Now, if I add one or more language packs in the MDT console and select them when using the previously created task sequence, the deployment fails with one error : ERROR - NetFx3 role processing with DISM.exe failed, rc = -2146498529.
The language packs are well installed but as the error message says, NetFx3 is not installed.
In the ZTIOSRole.log I can find this :

As you can see, in both logfile, the source are copied from the same folder.
Does anyone have an idea ? what am I missing ?
I have easily reproduced the problem on another computer (installing ADK/MDT, installing OS and creating task sequence).

Workaround:
1. copy stock sxs folder to local disk (e.g c:\sxs)
2. make a direct internet connection (don't use proxy!)
3. open admin command prompt and type: DISM.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:c:\sxs
4. after the successful install find the c:\windows\winsxs folder and sort by date
5. copy new folders (that are equal to current date) to deployment share's sxs folder (overwrite)
And now, try standard MDT install (create "Install Role And Feature" step in the Task Sequence, enable .NET install).

Adobe Reader X Deployment: how to add trusted folder from userprofile?

We have to deploy Adobe Reader X and Acrobat X by using the Adobe Customization Wizard X.
There is a function in the Customization Wizard to add the folders, but the main problem is, that we want to add a folder which is located in the userprofile.
I tried it by using the Windows variable: %USERPROFILE%, but it didn't work.
Is there another way to integrate this folder?
Can it be that Adobe provides their own variables? (i.e. [User_Profile])

How to Add an standard ECC field to CRM WebUI

I've an issue with a task, the problem is on the implementation of CRM they are using the sales order from ECC on the CRM webUI as we know CRM has already a block of standard fieds from R3 on the ERP components, can anybody knows how do I can ADD or make an enhacement for one other standard field. I need to maintain field bstdk_e from CRM webIU.

my actual problem is a problem in Adobe Designer. I will describe it with scrreenshots. It's about a text field that needs to be added to a table.
That's what I want:

In form SD_BIL_LIST_FORM01 the text field EX_CONDITIONS is part of table HEADER_CONDITIONS
That's how it is now in my form:

So what I want is to make the text field SHOW_MULTI_MIERALS be part of table Table_Multi_Minerals. But if I try to drag and drop the fext field into the table the system does not do it although it seems that I sould be possible (the black Drop line appears).

Facing problem Deploying SAP Outbound adapter for mySAP ECC 5.0 in JDev:

Steps Performed:
1.Created a Channel
2.Created a ALE IDOC WSDL for the Channel
3.Tested the IDOC Generation from SAP END and it is working fine.
4. Create a Empty BPEL with SAP Partnerlink for ALE IDOC wsdl and a receive activity.
5. Validated the BPEL Process
6. On deploy following error:
oracle.tip.adapter.fw.agent.jca.jcaActivation
bpel_BPELProcess2_1.0.jar failed to deploy.
Could not initialize activation agent. An error occured while initializing an activation agent for process "BPELProcess2", revision "1.0". Please ensure that the activation agents are configured correctly in the bpel deployment descriptor (bpel.xml). oracle.tip.adapter.fw.agent.jca.JCAActivationAgent: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
We have test for SAP Inbound & our BPEL Works fine.
Please suggest the possible resolution for above error.

We are on ECC5.0 version.
we were searching for Tax calculation procedures & tax codes for Phillipines & Thailand. But, we cannot find those with this standard package.
Please let me know if there were any country specific add-ons after this release. Where do you find these add-ons and how do you apply them?

I am getting this error while deploying a PAR file from NWDS into an ECC.
Operation Failed: Please make sure the server is running or check the log (sap-plugin.log) for
more detail.
My server is running properly
1 - Where is sap-plugin.log file? I don´t find it.
2 - Could there be another file with another name with information about the error?
3 - Is there another way to deploy the file directly from the ECC?

Error while posting GR from EWM in ECC. "Problem with receiver finding"

I have completed putaway of inbound delivery in EWM. This has triggered PPF to ECC for GR posting. This is stuck in ECC SMQ2 with error "Problem with receiver finding".
I have checked ECC>EWM interface configuration. Handling unit management setup in ECC and EWM. Do not see any issues there. Also tested GR account postings with IM storage location for Po in ECC. This is also working fine...so no issue with account determination.
Unable to figure out what is causing issue. Please help. Thank you.

Thanks for your responses. Issue was with distrubution model fiter parameters. for message type InboundDelivery.Deliverychange there was additional filter parameter for logical system. Removed values for logical system and only retained warehouse number.
With this issue is resolved. GR is posted succesfully in ECC.
