  • Material Document - Transaction Code MB03 - Deliv.Note

    Dear Friends,
In the material document, Deliv.Note field shows "NONE'.
How does this affect PO,MIGO,MIRO? Does it generate a error message?
If i want to remove "None" from Deliv.Note field, How to do it?
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Sridhar

    Hi,
if the material document is created through a delivery note through a PGI/PGR this field gets populated. If not it can be given manually during MIGO.With this number you can do the MIRO with refrenee to the delivery note number.

  • Need an IDOC EDI STEPS for material document(MB03)

    HI ALL,
i need an IDOC for material document. For example, user in SAP make material document (t-code MIGO or MB11), then automatical is downloading outbound IDOC, which contain information about material document.HOW TO PROCESS IT THROUGH EDI .GIVE THE STEPS.

like below you can do your settings
The EDI Configuration required to be done for Transfering IDoc to non SAP System is.
    1. First of all, we need to identify the Transaction Data which is required to be Transfered to external System.(Ex: Sales Order Data or Shipment Data or Delivery Related Data).
    2. Secondly, Identify the IDoc Type & Message Type. IDoc Type can be found in Transaction WE30 & Message Type Can be explored in Transaction WE81.
    3. After that, assign the IDoc Type to Message Type in WE82.
    4. Identify the Selection Program (Outbound) which is generally a Function Module in the Form of IDOC_OUTPUT_<Message Type>. Example, if the Message Type is ORDERS, the FM will be IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS.
    5. Assign the Function Module to a Process Code in WE41 (Process Code for Outbound).
    6. Configure Port Definitions in WE21 for which the RFC destinations are to be maintained in Transaction SM59.
    7. Maintain Partner Profiles for the Outbound Message Processing in WE20.
    8. Last, but not the Least, we need to Focus Mainly on Message Control Configuration which is nothing but maintaining the Output Type for the Outbound IDoc to be Triggered for the Sales Order Application or Delivery Application.
    i. In Message Control Configuration, we'll maintain
    a. Condition Tables
    b. Access Sequences
    c. Output Types
ii. To Create the above elements, we can go to SPRO Transaction and do the same depending on the Application Area such as Sales / Shipping / Logistics Execution etc.
iii. For Output Types & Access Sequences, we can go to the Transaction NACE or VK01 in which we'll maintain the Output Types / Access Sequences & Condition Records.
Please note that all the above steps may not be needed if we are using some of the Standard Elements provided by SAP such as Message Type, Process Code, IDoc Type & Selection Program as many of the Standard SAP Applications have their own Elements for different Application Areas.
For example, if you want to send an Order Confirmation IDoc when the Sales Order is saved, you can use the Message Type ORDRSP, IDoc Type ORDERS05 & Selection Program as IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
However, Message Control Configuration is the Key Factor and is required for all the Applications as per the Customer's / Client's Requirements.

  • URGENT: Reason code in Material document

    Dear all,
We processed a thousand 551 movements without reason code.
The user strongly NEEDs that field populated.
I tried to modified the document with MB02 but, the field 'reason code'  does not appear.
I looked in configuration trying to find a way to open it for input when process with MB02 and I did not find it.
This has BIG implications in our company and the user is thinking in updating directly MSEG with the reason code.
Does any body know how to open the field in MB02  OR if there is any implication in updating field Reason code (MSEG-GRUND) directly in the database?
    Thank you.
    Monica.

    Monica,
I don't think it's possible via MB02. In general, changes to a material document are very limited (except a few text fields). I would suggest to cancel the movements and redo them correctly instead of doing a direct table update.
If the volume is high, you should try to use LSMW or similar methods. Have a look into BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL and BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
    Hope this helps.

  • Creation of TO for Material Document

    Hi All,
I am doing an initial stock entry  into the storage location using MB1C Txn Code and movement type 561.This storage location is attached to a warehouse also. After creating the material Document, i am trying to create a Transfer order using LT06 Txn code, but system is throwing an error saying "You have not selected any data for the material document 4900000062".
Request your kind help in resolving the issue.Believe me, your help will be rewarded.
    Regards
    Krishna

    HI
Its not possible to create transfer orders for the material document created during initial entry of stocks 561, the moment you post initial entry though 561 the stock would be placed in 998 storage type, you have to go to LT10 tranascation from there you have to move the stock to relavna storage type.

  • Creation of Material Documents With Mvt Type

On Performing Post Goods Issue (PGI) in one Plant in case of Plant to Plant Dispatches, there should be Inbound delivery created for already created Purchase Order (PO). In addition after creation of inbound delivery, there should be material document created with 103 movement. This Material document is triggered when the inbound delivery is saved. Once Warehouse processes are finished, then Post Goods Receipt (PGR) happens, so 101 Movement Type happens for Purchase Order. PGR document should trigger one more material document with 104 movements; this document is reversal for material document with 103 movement type.
can any one suggest to enhance SAP for this?

    Hi Nitin,
Before creating the Service type of product, you have to define the Base category for Service type product. Generally the category for service will be created under the R3 hierarchy R3PRODSTYPE. You can create this category using the TCode:
COMM_HIERARCHY. Here you have to select the product type as Service and have to assign the set types to the category.
You can create a service product using the transaction : COMMPR01 -> Click on Service ICON -> Select the Category for Service Type. Then fill in the details for Service Product description, Service ID(Based on number range settings for products), Language.
Also fill other details like Base Unit of measure, Pricing condition for different sales areas for the service product.
Since you are using CRM7.0, you can do all these activities using a POWER USER role.
For more information about Set types and hierarchies please refer the following help link:

    Hope this helps!

  • Link between Material Document number & Accounting document number

    Hi All,
For material document there is a corresponding accounting document number generated. However this is not the rule in all cases.
Where is the link between the two(Material Document & Accounting Document) ?
In other words i want to list those material documents only, for which accounting documents are generated.
    Regards
    Piyush Kothari

    STEP 1
SAP query way to extract your information.
Create an infoset SQ02 with a single table MKPF. (include key fields in the field group)
    Step 2
    From Extras
Create an additional field called zawkey (like bkpf-belnr) which will concatenate the MM document number MKPF-MBLNR and MKPF_MJAHR. The sequencing shall be number 1.
You may use this code below and paste also (this needs authorization as well)
    data: zzawkey like bkpf-awkey.
    clear: zawkey, zzawkey.
    concatenate mkpf-mblnr mkpf-mjahr into zzawkey.
    zawkey = zzawkey.
Add another field called ACCDOCNO (accounting documnet number) with sequencing number 2 with following code.
    data: zaccdocno like bkpf-belnr..
    clear: zaccdocno, accdocno.
select belnr from bkpf into zaccdocno where
      bukrs = ccode and
      GJAHR = MKPF-MJAHR and
      awkey = zawkey.
    endselect.
    accdocno = zaccdocno.
    Step 3
Include the additional fields  into the field group.
    Step 4
Click on the selection tab and create a parameter called ccode with a description Company Code and  against
    LIKE    BKPF-BUKRS
    Extras  OBLIGATORY
    Step 5
Click on the selection tab and create a seelction criteria pdate with a description Posting Date for the field MKPF-BUDAT
    Extras  OBLIGATORY
    Step 6
Save, Generate and assign the infoset to a user group.
    Step 6
Create a SQ01 query under the usergroup with all the fields in the infoset. and Execute. Enter a company code and one date of a working day where you expect material transactions.
The result will be all the material documents and their corresponding accounting documents, if available. If you want to see only those material document that do not have corrsponding accounting documnet, then while you are in the selection screen say accounting document number is not equal to blank.

  • How to fetch accounting document number from known material document number

    Hi,
Using MIGO transaction, by giving mblnr(material document number) as input, I get accounting document number by clicking FI document.I have to add this accounting document number in my report for corresponding known mblnr(material document number) values.
My question is how to fetch the accounting document number present in MIGO to add in my report program.
I used the xblnr(Reference Document Number) which is present both in mkpf and bkpf tables to fetch values.
I extracted xblnr values with known mblnr values from mkpf (Header: Material Document table).
and then extracted belnr(accounting document number) from bkpf (Accounting Document Header table) by using xblnr values.
But the query is running for a long time.
Is there any other method  to extract the values in a simpler way.
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sanjeev

I had the values of xblnr and some other fields such as mblnr, budat etc in wi_item table.
I created a new internal table i_xblnr and got down those values.
And then created a new internal table i_belnr and tried to get values of belnr in it.
The code I wrote is given below:
    IF not wi_item[] is initial.
    loop at wi_item.
       at new xblnr.
        ws_xblnr-xblnr = wi_item-xblnr.
         append ws_xblnr to i_xblnr.
       endat.
    endloop.
select belnr xblnr from bkpf into table i_belnr for all entries in i_xblnr where xblnr = i_xblnr-xblnr.
    ENDIF.
    Kindly look after it.Thank you.

    Sanjeev

  • 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' takes more time for creating material document for the 1st time

    Hi Experts,
I am doing goods movement using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE in my custom code.
Then there is some functional configuration such that, material documents and TR and TO are getting created.
Now I need to get TO and TR numbers from LTAK table passing material documnt number and year, which I got from above used BAPI.
The problem I am facing is very strange.
Only for the 1st time, I am not finding TR and TO values in LTAK table. And subsequent runs I get entries in LTAK in there is a wait time of 5 seconds after bapi call.
I have found 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' takes more time for creating material document with similar issue, but no solution or explanation.
Note 838036 says something similar, but it seems obsolete.
Kindly share your expertise and opinions.
    Thanks,
    Anil

    Hi,
please check if some of following OSS notes are not valid for your problem:
[Note 838036 - AFS: Performance issues during GR with ref. to PO|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/838036]
[Note 391142 - Performance: Goods receipt for inbound delivery|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/391142]
[Note 1414418 - Goods receipt for customer returns: Various corrections|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1414418]
The other idea is not to commit each call, but executing commit of packages e.g. after 1000 BAPI calls.
But otherwise, I am afraid you can not do a lot about performance of standard BAPI. Maybe there is some customer enhancement which is taking too long inside the BAPI, but this has to be analysed by you. To analyse performance, just execute your program via tr. SE30.

    Adrian
