Ex Classic PO error

I am creating PO in Ex Classic and It is getting created but not being transfered to backend.
In application monitor I found under PO node when you choose display All than it shows backend PO errors and error is as given below:
"Purchase order XXXXXXXXXXXXXX: Order unit EA cannot be converted into base unit E A "
I have checked up folllwoing:
1. EBP- COMMPR01 - In Purchasing view UOM is EA
2. MM - MM03 - In Basic view/Purchasing view UOM is EA
3. MM - MM03 - Additional data / UOM tab - only EA is maintained.
Pls. provide some clue.

Hi,
In SRM, transaction CUNI, button Units of measurement -No dimension, Int. Measure should be EA, and ISO UOM = EA. If ISO UOM not exist, add in the ISO Codes button.
In SAP, transaction CUNI, button Units of measurement -No dimension, Int. Measure should be EA, and ISO UOM = EA. If ISO UOM not exist, add in the ISO Codes button.
SRM and SAP talk to each other with Int UOM, but catalog and idoc transmission uses ISO UOM.

How are you?
Well, I have an iPod Classic, it gave me the error -1436 error and would not restore on iTunes.
I did the following:
My Boss (@work) has a fairly old iBook but it has OS-X, so I decided to give it a try and connected my iPod to it.
The system showed a window telling me that the disk is not MAC formated and needs to be validated prior further action. Snce it is a Mac product, I thought "yeah, go ahead".
It then opens the disk manager utility for the Mac and showed the disk. It's window has some tabs, one is to verify the disk, so I verified it. Guess what, it had some invalid clusters.
Then I formatted the iPod to OS-X Plus file system (next tab to the right). After formating the iPod, I "ejected" the iPod and reconnected to my PC. The Windows iTunes found an iPod with Mac file system and asked me to restore it. As I clicked on the "restore" button, I crossed my fingers as this was the last resource I have.
Finally, after the file extraction was done, it began to restore the iPod!!
I'm so happy about being able to restore the iPod that I decided to share with all you guys this solution as it is the most usefull, in my opinion.
Hope you can find someone with an iBook or a desktop Mac, so you can fix yours.

The easiest solution and apparently the only approved solution via Apple (although a pain if you haven't backed up your device) to restore the phone if you can't figure out the passcode. It will erase everything but if you have a fairly recent backup then you will be fine...you may only lose anything that was added after the last backup. You can also try searching the Apple Support pages and forum to see if there is another solution. Ultimately, it's a plus to a certain degree that there is no easy way to change the passcode....if someone "found" it and wanted to try to get in to it....but it's a pain when it's a situation like yours.

Ipod classic 160gb, error -48, and error -53 when trying to sync to library

Can you help, i cant load tracks from my library and sync my ipod classic on either of my computers. i am running on both computers uptodate software versions and i have also tried all the usual reset routines but still have no joy becuase now it has lost all my music from the ipod and still wont sync.It initailly syncs until it gets to aprox 1gb full then it freezes and eventually pops up error messages. I tried the link that someone put up on previous post about the error code and tried running the enable disk and scanning for bad sectors but still i have problems. it has been working great with no real problems before now, but my ipod is now over 1 year old, surprise surprise and it is broken just like my last ones after 1 year!
Can you advise anything? i have run system driver clean up on both computers aswell as ipod when set as enable disk in itunes ,and fixed corrupt sectors but still wont sync, im lost now.

I am having the same problem. Sometimes I get an error code and sometimes I don't. I tried to get apple to do something about it however mine is also out of warranty so no luck. I have read about a lot a people having syncing issues like this with their ipod classic and I am kind of amazed that apple is not willing to fix this issue. IPod Classic Unknown error 53

I keep running into this error (-53) when loading music or movies onto my iPod Classic. Any ideas? I have reset the iPod 3 times and still continue to have issues

This maybe due to USB transfer timeout by iTunes waiting for a task complete signal, which did not come.
While syncing your iPod, I would suggest the following to prevent timeouts.
Disconnect all other USB devices, except mouse and keyboard.
connect only to USB 2.0 port at the back of the Desktop, and if you are using a Mac dont connect to the keyboard USB port.
Dont connect to USB Hub.
Disconnect from Internet, so dont use twitter or facebook are other apps, which has plugins that conflict with iTunes.
Stop the Antivirus if any.
Try to sync in small batches first.

Classic Scenario_Tolerances error for GR posting in SRM

Hi,
I am getting error "quantity too high" and "System status is INCM is active" when i try to post goods receipt in SRM. we are on SRM5 and under classic scenario. For the shopping cart, i posted PO with 10% over tolerances,which is configured already and system allowed to create PO with over delivery tolerance.
Where as when i try to post GR against this PO, i am getting this error. i think SRM checks against PO while posting GR for any tolerances.
Here is example: SC qty is 100, PO qty is 110 (10% over delivery tol is setup) ,in GR i am confirming against PO qty 110 ,i am getting error.
All my tolerances were setup in ECC only. I haven't set up any tolerances in SRM and in org structure.
Appreciate any inputs.

Same as backend we need to maitain tolerence in SRM also there is attribute TOG
where we have to maintain the values.
for Maitaining the Tol key goto T.code BBPCTOL
you can maintain the limits here

Update details:-
while i was updated 3120 classic, after the firmware was downloaded, and during the installation process, the lights went off and my mobile got DEAD.

Today I also ran into this problem. I wanted to upgrade from v7.16 to v10.00 because my mobile has some annoying freezes but till now I didn't have a USB cable.
In the middle of the update process my mobile just died and didn't responded only the keyboard started to shine when I tried to switch it on. But I just kept trying to re-run the updater which detected the interrupted update process and offered to continue. It advised me to remove the battery, pull out the USB cable and the charger than reconnect them again and switch on the mobile. I did it as I advised to about 3 times but didn't succeeded, but kept trying and after a while even the mobile keyboard didn't shine at all. Although it seemed completely dead I left it alone with the updater program running and a few minutes later the screen started with a simlpe white background and later on a short text in red characters appeared: "Test mode". Another minutes later it asked for PIN code and worked fine.
So keep trying patiently and maybe you can revive your phone just as I did.

FrameMaker (Classic) preferences error

I've seen other forums post supposed fixes to this problem but they aren't working for me. Ever since I updated to 10.4, when I start Frame, I get this:
_ FrameMaker can't open the preferences file.
_ Default settings will be used. The resource map
_ is inconsistent with requested operation.

Other sites suggested trashing the +FrameMaker7 Prefs+ file in +Mac HD/System Folder/Preferences+. Did that, restarted Frame: Same error. Did that, restarted Classic, restarted Frame: Same error. It doesn't matter what I do, no new Frame preferences file is ever created.
+As an aside, I'm an acknowledged Frame snob. As soon as I read (on another thread here) that Leopard doesn't support Classic, I realized I have gone as far as I can (v10.4.11) with Apple. Unless there's an OSX version of FrameMaker coming out in the next year or two, I'll probably have to go Windows.+
Anyway, any help on fixing the preferences issue would be appreciated.

Classic Wizard Error for Planning through Workspace

Hi!
I have registered Planning through Shared Services but I get a "Please verify that the application has been registered through Shared Services..." error message when I try to access the Classic Administration through Workspace. I am working with 9.3.1.
I can create AND register an app by going to http://server:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp....but then if I try to provision the app or log into the app (by goign to http://server:8300/HyperionPlanning/LogOn.jsp?) I get an "apllication XXX is invalid. Please see log for details" and as usual the log says nothing useful.
Any ideas?

I have had a few tech consultants look at it and they have suggested uninstalling Planning for the 3rd time and reinstalling...If there is any magic I can do to fix it, I would prefer to do that instead of uninstalling

Are you able to open / access the application via the Workspace 'Application' Menu?
Also you should have configured Planning to be available through the same HTTP server that workspace uses. So instead of connecting to Planning directly to the JVM port (8300) you would go through the same HTTP address you use for workspace (19000).
It is important to note you should not be accessing workspace through the direct JVM port (45000) but instead through the HTTP server. The default HTTP server port used by Hyperion is 19000.
So you would access workspace at:
http://<server>:19000/workspace
And Planning should be available at:
http://<server>:19000/HyperionPlanning
If you cannot access planning through the proxied HTTP server address then that is more than likely the issue you are having as Workspace needs to connect to planning through the HTTP server and not directly to the JVM port.

Classic report error when no rows to retrieve from DB

Should be a quick setting change but can't seem to find it...
I have a classic report that
SELECT x, y, z
FROM table_name
WHERE DOC_TYPE_CD = :P25_FILE_TYPE
The :P25_FILE_TYPE is filled in by a select list that submits (no validations). If there are no rows in the table that meet this criteria, I'm getting the ORA no data found error, rather than the nice little "no data found" message in the report region. (It works fine as long as there's a row to retrieve). How do I stop this being an error and make it retrieve with no rows found?

Verify if you don't have other pl/sql codes on your page that causes the error. (item condition, item default, item source, any process or so)

seems to work with FF.

It does sound like there's some other version of jQuery or jQuery UI being included on your page. You can verify this, by going to your page with FF, then open Firebug (if you don't have Firebug, you can get it from http://getfirebug.com/, it's a very useful extension for debugging and seeing exactly what's going on on your page, apologies if you have it already!). Go to 'Script' and then you should be able to see all the JS files that are included on your page. Can you confirm what versions of jQuery and jQuery UI you see here?

Upgrade OS 9.2 to OS X.4 - Classic Startup Error

Error when starting Classic or running any OS 9 Apps from within OS X:
"Connection Failure: The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address & try again"
There are NO server connections saved in the OS 9 HD:System Folder:Servers
OS 9 worked flawlessly prior to upgrade & still works without incident when booting to OS 9 from Startup.
OS X seems to be functioning as expected after the upgrade!
From OS X Classic System Pref's:
Rebuilt Desktop, restart Classic - no change
Turned Off Extension, restart Classic - no change
Placed virgin/blessed OS 9 System Folder on OS X Desktop. Pointed Classic Startup to this System folder, OS 9 Starts without incident!
Conclusion:
Original OS 9 System Folder contains corruption that surfaces only when Starting up from within OS X. Can the System Folder be fixed in place or MUST it be replaced completely? Want to avoid losing Extension & Preferences, starting from scratch! Do not have all of the OS 9 App installation cd's... who always does?
Upgrade Step-by-Step:
Upgraded RAM from 256MB to 640MB. Ran Alsoft Disk Warrior v3.0.3. Boot to external FireWire HD w/OS X.4.7, ran OS X Disk Utility on target OS 9 HD prior to upgrade. Created Backup Image of OS 9.2 HD prior to upgrade using Bombich's NetRestore Helper. Upgrade OS 9 HD to OS X.4.6 using Apple OEM Tiger cd-rom's. Run Apple Software Update. Final OS X.4.7.

I ran into the same problem. I spoke to the IT manager at my job and he put me on the right trail.
Open your Classic Systen Folder. Remove items from the "Servers" subfolder and"Startup Items" subfolder. Also delete the "Finder" preference.
When I started classic again, I got the same error as before, so I thought I was back to square one, however I noived that my System 9 Launcher appeared in the dock. When I launched Suitecase 8.2 I had no froblem adding fonts. I openned Quark 4, opened a file and saved a postscript file to the OS X.4 desktop.
I then draged it to Acrobat Distiller 7 and it created a good PDF in OS X.4.
Conclusion: On classic startup it was looking for server or finder links that no loner existed. I hope this helps.
