Exam history

How do I see my exam history following the move from Prometric to Pearson? None of it has been carried over. I asked Pearson, and got this reply:
Please be advvised that the prometric history
wont show on the pearson vue History. Any exam you take with pearson
vue will be updated in your Oracle history joint witht the prometric
exams.
What is this "Oracle history" he refers too?
Thanks for any help.

The first thing you should do is edit your previous post and remove your Oracle testing ID. This is sensitive information and should not be posted on a public forum.
Creating a service request using the "Oracle Certification Program (OCP) Support Form" was the proper response. You can post the SR number in here if you do not get a response in 3-5 business days and the forum administrator can check the status of it.

  • CertView - results in Certification\Exam History

    Hi,
Can somebody explain when exam results should be visible in 'Certification History' and when in 'Exam History' in CertView?
I'm little confused because I thought when all exams for certificate are passed then results should not be visible in 'Exam History' only but also in 'Certification History'.
Two weeks ago I passed [1Z0-047 Oracle Database SQL Expert|http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=189] exam and after some problems I'm finally able to see result in CertView,
but it's in 'Exam History' only and i'm not sure is it correct or it's another problem because there are no more exams for this certificate so shouldn't be also marked as certificate under 'Certification History' ?
    Thanks

ThanksThe answer is that it should. And should be in shipment status soon also.
However there may be a lag between the two.
(Exam history load process may be different to certification evaluation process ... which is a set of rules).
And as Sun/Java Certifications are currently being loaded there may be a delay/problem that wouldn't normally occur.
Your OTN registration is today .. so that you've only just logged into certview ... so some problems with that may just have been cleared also.
My suggestion is to wait 2 days (or at least 24 hours) and if it doesn't correct itself raise an issue: http://education.oracle.com/pls/eval-eddap-dcd/OU_SUPPORT_OCP.home?p_source=OCP

  • How to view exam history?

I want to know how do someone look at his/her exam history?

    801264 wrote:
I want to know how do someone look at his/her exam history?Do I take it that you, X, wish to examine exam history for someone else , Y.
    The procedure is:
You (X) give an email address (M) to (Y)..
    (Y) registers amd logons to certview. They then publish select credentials to email address (M).
    (X) then recieives an email at (M) which had instructions on how to view (Y)'s certification credentials.
You (X), however can view your own exam history,
Note that what you will receive is a sellected list of certifications from Y not an exam history.
(So for example if Y has passed 1z0-051, 1z0-052 and 1z0-053 but not have valididated DBA OCP training requirement (then they are not DBA OCP) then they will publish a 11g DBA OCP certification).

I have passed 1Z0-051, 1Z0-042, 1Z0-043, which are required to get OCP 10g. But I did not take the hands-on course. For some reason, I need to get back to my home country. How should I do to continue to take hands-on course and get the OCP in my home country?

I don't understand what you mean by "To state the obvious take the training and submit the course. "
Take the required training course whereever you currently physically are and submit the course.
( If you are intending to take a live virtual class (online training from Oracle University) then I belive that class needs to be taken from within the country you have register in. I dont think you are asking about this, so I am not covering it in depth, see for example {message:id6495962}, though that me not be the lastest and most authorative thread. )
It seems if I take exams in one country and leave, I have to take them all once again to be an OCP.No. your exam results are are universally valid. Your Oracle Testin ID is internationally valid.
You could take 1z0-051 in UK, 1z0-052 in India, 1z0-053 in USA and take the training in Australia if that is where you are at the time. You will have met the requirements to be awarded 11g DBA OCP.
In fact you are not permitted to retake any exams you have passed.

  • My passed exam is missing from MCP Recent Passed Exam List

As the topic, I passed MCSA 2008 exam 073-642, 646, 640, but only two of them (073-640 & 073 - 642) are listed on my exam history. I have scan PDF file to prove it.
How can I add it in my exam history?
Looking forward to your timely response.

    Hi,
For this type of question, you should contact the regional service center for your country/region. Here is the URL:
    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/help.asp
Also, I removed the candidate ID from your post. You should be careful about posting identification numbers like this online. You will want to provide your candidate ID to the regional service center. You may also want to provide a copy of the score report.
This will help them resolve your issue quickly.

  • Certview Bug examing score reports

I was prompted to test Certview Score reporting this following reports of people with difficulties viewing core reports in certview. At around the time of this post i find the following either bugs or IMHO bad behaviours. I am using Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m from a Windows Vista PC at this time.
A am able to get to the Certview - exam history page entitled "Oracle University Exam History"
I see exams I have taken here under the oracle certification program under both prometric and Pearson Vue ( i don not see earlier exams taken under sun / MySQL before takeover; though I do see them on the certification page, this is all as I would expect).
So I have a table of exams as follows:
Test Start Date     Exam Number     Exam Title                      Grade Indicator     Score Report
17-MAR-10     1Z0-047             Oracle Database SQL Expert      PASS                     View
    ...[1]
When I click on the 'view' link for the score report on an old exam previously taken under oracle when prometric was the provider I get a pop up Tab page with the message:
"There are no registrations associated with your student information."
_OK_I can understand what is going on here, though the message is not informative.
    [2]
When I click on view link for score report for the exam above (taken under pearson view) I get a background tab attempting to open with a 'Loading....' message on the tab title ... which goes 'untitled' for an instant and then disappears completely. That tab near reaches foreground and I remain on the exam history page.
[3] I haven't taken an exam for one taken after the new results regime introduced in november 2012 .... but other forum posters seem to have at least got some issues here. I seem to recall from blog links others were initially unsuccessful but later successful with recently taken exams.
I am concerned the update to this area may not have been fully tested, and may be pleased to recommend prize of extended visit to Australian Bushtucker trials with opportunity to develop and test escape software from tunnels full of bandicoots. Of course I am unfairly jesting ;-)
I personnally an not too bothered on this but others may be. I may raise an SR anyway and will leave the number here if I do. I understand it is the weekend, and that software updates take some time to develop and test.

I don't think this is a browser related issue since I have tried this with Chrome, IE and Mozilla. Can anyone help with the solution to view my old results ?
    Thank you,
ShashiFor the 2002 and 2005 examinations these will have been with a pre-pearson vue exam provider and the detailed exam results will not be available.
For the 2012 by best guess you ought to have had a Pearson Vue exam with results available, but their may be exceptions ( eg one thought is might happen if oracle testing ID's were merged). Suggest raise a specific service request with Oracle Certification to investigate. This is new so behaviours will be emerging ... however you have not hit a browser issue here as far as I can tell ).

  • Will we lose our certification history, if we leave our company?

    I have a strange situation.
3 years ago, i registered to both OTN and Certview with my old email address, my old company's email address.
That company is closed. When i forgot the OTN password, i couldn't succeed to login to OTN, because it sends the temporary password only to the email address. No security questions, no alternate mail addresses. So i got a new OTN account with my new email address.
Yesterday i took an exam to upgrade my OCP certification. There were not any problems with pearsonvue. I could change my email address, registered for the exam, and took the exam.
I got an email from Certview to see my exam score. I tried to login with my new OTN account, entered my Oracle testing id, and certview did not allow me to login. It says another email address(my old email address) is registered with that testing ID. It suggested me to login with my old email address.
I forgot the password of my old account's password. I cannot use remember password because the only way to remember password is sending temp password to the registered email. My old company is closed, its domain is not in use. So there is no way to use my old email address.
I wrote lots of mails to OTN help, Certview help, etc. They always close my problem without solving it. They say, "The only way to see my exam report is to login with my old account.". And because of forgetting password, i cannot do that.
I am about giving up. I think my ceritification and exam history will be lost only because of forgetting my OTN account's password. Maybe i should go to my old boss and try to convince him to startup the company again, to get my old email address and to see my Certview detail. It's like a joke :)

I know that it is possible for the support team to change your email address without having you the password because I have done it. When I first created my OTN account, I worked for Oracle. I left Oracle and it was a couple of years before I needed my the account again (OCP info wasn't as tied to the OTN id then as it is now). The support team was able to change my email to a new address for me. Mind you... I had them change it to one that is my personal email rather than my work email so that the problem would not happen again.

  • Difference between Upgrade to Oracle 11g Exam and the OCP 11g exam

Is there a difference in the Oracle Database 11g exam and OCP 11g exam?
Say for example, i am an OCP 10g and I took the New Features Course for 11g. Then I will upgrade to OCP 11g
    or
I will take all the courses for 11g then take OCP (do not worry, money is not an issue in this case)
Is there a difference between the two in terms of the examination?
Will the exams for Upgrade to OCP11g and OCP11g the same?
Which one is harder? or easier?
Thanks. hope to see your feedback

    859640 wrote:
I am sorry. But i din't quite understand the explanation.
Correct me please if i am wrong.
    As I understand you:
    1. I am on OCP 10g
    2. I will need to take the exams (no need to get additional training) that need to be taken to be an OCP 11g which includes the following:
    - 1z0-051: Intro to SQL 11g
    - 1z0-052: Admin I 11g (if passed then OCA)
    - 1z0-053: Admin II 11g (if passed then OCP)
Is this correct? Can I put it this way.
I apologise if i am being explicit here but I am just being able to cover all angles.
If a person is 10g OCP DBA (and has proof of this as a valid certificate from oracle or can see this on their certification status at certview.oracle.com .... I say this because some people with a 1z0-043 exam pass only may incorrectly claim they are a 10g DBA OCP) then the following routes from 10g DBA OCP to 11g DBA OCP are possible:
    1) By passing 1z0-050 ... the 11g DBA OCP should be granted with no further requirements other than the 10g DBA OCP
    2) By passing 1z0-052 and 1z0-053 ....... HOWEVER .....
..... It is possilble some 10g DBA OCP may not have passed an SQL exam in the past (1z0-051/047/-007/001) and if this is the case one of 1z0-051/1z0-047/1z0-007 will also need to be passed on this route (I would recommend 1z0-051).
( Essentially route (2) is valid for any DBA OCP; there is a 1z0-055 single upgrade exam for 9i DBA OCP's)
It is recommended to find and check your existing certification under certification history (+not exam history ... that doesnt matter for this purpose+) under certview.oracle.com before starting on this route.

  • OCP certificate

    HI,
I have passed my OCP certification exam on 06th May and also submitted hands on form on 5th Jul 2011 which is also approved by oracle.

When I contact certification support they everytime they say it will be resolved in 3-4 days and don't even update the service request log.
all oracle mail id's are decommissioned.

I dont work for Oracle, I just happen to independently answer a number of questions on this forum.
    * I can only make a few comments.
    * The certification forum moderator, who is probably on a weekend break, and could even be on summer vacation for all i know, often picks these up. But this is a voluntary forum and people simply do what they can when they have time.
    * You have correctly submitted a support, oracle are on the case. But you need to be a little patient.
    * From what you have said, although you say Oracle approved your hands on course, this approval did not appear to reach the certification database. I assume Oracle have to check this thoroughly; and if appropriate raise the relevant hands on course pass on the certification database which will enable your OCP to be generated if all pre-requisites then become satisfied). Oracle can IMHO only make that grant when then have properly authenticated the hands on course ( and they may have to do this)
    * I personally never managed to track anything at all off that isupport system.
    * Can I also comment that this answer could perhaps have been a little more detailed and less painful to do if you had provided a little more (non personal) details of the exam taken (eg 1z0-043) ... certification sought (there are perhaps over 30 different OCP's) ... the nature of the hands on course approval comment from Oracle and perhaps the type of institute where you took your hand on course ( for example a WDP institute ( I dont really want the name published here), Oracle University) ).
But quite frankly even if you told me these things (in other words don't bother doing so) I think my answer would be the same ...... that is .....
..... In general I recommend simply waiting a few working days. Trying to rush the process will probably simply be like bashing your head against a brick wall.

  • Pearson profile merging problem

    hi,
i did my OCA in 9i database in march,2009 through prometric (id: OOOOOOO )
i did my OCA in application server 10g in feb,2010 through pearson (id: NNNNNNN )
after my exams with pearson,i got my score report in 'my account' page in Pearson site.
later,i got mail from oracle, asked to contact Pearson to merge my profiles.
i mailed to pearson for the same.they merged, and said now the current oracle testing id is ( OOOOOO ) i.e. which i got in prometric.
after merging,in my profile page in pearson account,i cant found my recent exam history with pearson(which i saw before merging of profiles).
in 'My Account --> view history' page of Pearson it shows
"You have not previously taken any exams with Pearson VUE."
i keep on contacting pearson about the issue, they too keep on sending mails, that my password has ben changed,'try it now'.
also,in 'cert view' of oracle,i tried with prometric id,my account 'authorization verication' got failed(third attempt) and now i cant access the page.i mailed [email protected],but yet now no response.
am scared,as i have to submit my score report in my company, also am in the process of doing OCP.

regards -->Abdur Raoof1) Hopefully you have your certificate from your 9i DBA OCA exams. (I assume you took 1z0-007 and 1z0-031). You should have received that by may 2009; so that shouldn't be an issue.
    2) The situation on problems with Certview registration should normally be resolved by Oracle. I am not sure what you will find when you get access, but perhaps it will be useful. However remember it may take a few days (and i cannot remember wether this is 3 days or closer a couple of weeks).
    3) For the 10g App Server I assume we are talking about the exam 1z0-311. Please check this is the case.
    - Pearson VUE deal with Exam Names and Codes on behalf of Oracle, not certifications.
    - So as I understand it from their viewpoint you would currently be missing a 1z0-311 (Oracle Application Server 10g: Administration I) exam result.
    - I believe it is important you obtain an incident number from Pearson VUE; and that incident refers to the inability to track your 1z0-311 exam.
    - If you go back to them then say their attempted reslution of the incident did not work and could they escalate this. They need to be given the opportunity to escalate it. It may even need a technical person to track your accounts. If this fails then as a last resort ask for the complaints procedure. Also check if they are able to see your 1z0-311 pass.
    - Your 1z0-311 score report should also have been printed and gvien to you at the testing station; sometimes this does not seem to have happened recently (see below). (this is not proof, as (almost) anyone could mock up a forged score report).
    4) - On your Pearson VUE account you say your 'View history' is blank. Check your exam is not in your 'Current Activity'. For instance I took an exam yesterday, after I completed the exam still eight hours later it was in current activity (recent activity block) only with a status of 'scheduled'. By this morning it is in both current activity/recent activity with a status of 'taken' and also not in exam history with a status of 'taken'. It will, I assume, move on to a status of 'pass' at some point in the 'history' tab and be removed from my current activity tab.
    5) As your exam was in march it is possible you took a biometrics associated identity checking (photo taken) which was linked to your test result. I believe there have been a couple of issues wrt revised Pearson Software associated with this certainly which have included Score Report Printing and failure to deliver exam. It is an outside possibility you have suffered from this.
In summary I think you should pursu with Pearson VUE in first instance but obtaining and incident number and requesting escalation.

  • Help..Oracle could not trace my WDP hands on course for OCP 10g

    Dear All,
Can somebody on Oracle (OTN team) could help me to validate & check my WDP hands on course as below detail :
    Class Name :
ORACLE DATABASE 10G: ADMINISTRATION WORKSHOP II RELEASE 2 - WDP (D17092GC31S)
    Location : CV Informit Indonesia
    Student Id : 62156
    Student Name : Zulfirman
    Schedule : 25 March 2011 - 10 April 2011
    (10 sessions @ 3 Hours)
I have put above information on VUE, but then come up an email response from oracle asking my hardcopy certificate course.
I have contacted the INFORMIT, they said it takes 2 up to 3 month to get the certification from OU indonesia.
Since it take long time to get the training certification, I come back emailing the oracle to ask for speed up, then they said they need to check further about my training detail.
FInally they come up with an email that asking me to ask INFORMIT to email the oracle confirming that i have already completed that course.
Worstly, i have not in that city anymore where the INFORMIT located, but i drop informit an email just now to forward oracle request to them.
    Question :
    1. Can someone help me to validate my training instead of waiting oracle with the emailing back - forward ?
2.Why ORacle unable to trace my detail WDP class above ? Is it because of a cheap WDP training so they dont provide a connected server between WDP training provider & OU or Oracle headquarter ?
    3. The Hardcopy certification for WDP student take too long. What is the std lead time for WDP student to have thier training certifiaction ?
    Thank You,
    Zulfirman,PMP,OCA

    Hi Brandye Barrington,
    No,
they didnt provide me an exam voucer. For your info, i have already passed all the exam required for OCP track.Which is an indicator of something not right. Mabe not your fault. Maybe the Institution. Maybe WDP.
My goal to get this training is to refresh me about the topic & to claim my OCP status.
you can check my exam history using my ORacle Testing ID (or Oracle Certification Program ID): XXXXXXXXXXWell you've just 3.2 (iv) No Misconduction of the http://education.oracle.com/education/pdf/ocp_candidate_agreement_V0810.pdf of the agreement you make before taking this exam by disclosiing your Oracle Testing Id to another person ... aka the whole internet!
    >
    For your info,
I hve just got confirmation from my WDP training centre (Informit). They have emailed "[email protected]" to confirm that i have officialy registered with WDP training centre by showing to them (them = oracle) the screen shot or print screen of regsitration form from WDP website, where my name alrady been registered inside the WDP system.
Ho Ho Ho !! The WDP training center are well enoughton the ball to know that email address have been withdrawn. ( http://blogs.oracle.com/certification/2011/03/email_alias_ocpexam_wworacleco.html ).
Perhaps that document does show a registration number.
Now i can only wait, wheter oracle still could not accpet that email from INFORMIT as a proof or i have to wait for my certification hardcopy (take 2 or 3 months ahead)
Emails can be faked. And I am reasonably certain a percentage of WDP Training centers would not apply the rules properly if they could get away with it.
If i still have to wait for the scan hardcopy certification, then for sure, i really upset with ORACLE, due they could not manage best communication & sychronization database between ORACLE - WDP TRanining Centre, & me as a unlucky candidate due to their bad communication on both system.
IMHO I can see from this and other threads that WDP or the training centers fail to publish clear and precise information of what is involved so the students can authoratively check on an oracle website. IMHO The WDP Traiing centers have a degree of control which they can use to mislead students.
And I assume you have access to the following :: https://workforce.oracle.com/pdf/html_rd/wdp_stu_reg.html?wdp0 ... and if not why not ? ( I dont .. i am not WDP).
If ORACLE is a great database company, then they must already predict such issue in early as possible instead of waiting such complaint raised in.
Oracle is Great. Larry is Great. Any Oracle RDBMS version with a zero in it may be a bad vintage.
But IMHO you may be right wrt WDP.
Again, Pls help me on this..
    Besr Regards,
Zulfirman,PMP,OCAWhen one does training at OU the attendance is properly recorded and there are nless real issues with attendance not being recorded.
With WDP institutions as far as I can tell this is not perhaps as well auditted and there is perhaps room for shenanigans; faked attendance, etc.
As far as i know when WDP was started (oracle 9i) the students used to have to attend the whole track of a specially constructed coiurse to get the credi ( I used to call it a never mind the quality feel the width training). And the training was spread to ensure the pupil had time to absorb the training. And it might be taught by non Oracle Professionals. WDP can however now be used for a single session set of part of track being sufficient for the training requirement (This may be simply a never mind the quality appreciatethe cheapness approach).
This may all seem off topic for you.
However please realise Oracle Certification (whcih operates independently of WDP who do there own thing) need to establish training has been properaly attended. And if there is a loophole many WDP candidates wll rush towards it.
This however does give me a chance to kick Oracle to ensure WDP has its house in order.

  • OCA Certificates query

I have completed 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-144 from Pearson VUE.
Do i need to register in oracle website somewhere to get my certificate?
Will i get certificate for individual exams(2) + OCA (1) so total 3 certificates OR only OCA certificate?

I have registered in Certview link and got below message.
Congratulations! Your information has been verified and you are now authorized to access your Oracle Certification Program Information on CertView.
Do i get any confirmation mail from Oracle for my post for certification?Okay after registeriing on certview thenext step is to access it to see wht it says ....
    - Go back to certview.oracle.com ... sign in ... and select the certification status tab.
    - The exam history subtab show what exams have been recorded aginst you.
    - The certification history shows the certfications you have been awarded
    - And the success kit status shows when your certification success kit (aka printed certificate) was requested from the printers ( it can be up to 8 weeks after that you receive it) along with what to do it things dont seem right.
If you dont see what you are expecting to see then it is time to investigate. ( An example would be a person would found only a 1z0-144 pass ... but their 1z0-051 pass was missing .. this would often be because their 1z0-051 was taken under a different Oracle testing Id .. in which case the solution would be a merge).
