Example code for Trigering a workflow using WAPI from JAVA based tool

Hi Experts,
I am the newest guy in SAP workFlow and BAPI world. I need to trigger a workflow defined in WebFlow engine from a Java client. I know i can use JCo and to use WAPI to get workflow information but i am not sure how it works. Can you give me some example code to trigger one workflow defined in WebFlow using WAPI? If there is any alternative i am interested to know that as well.
Thanks in advance.

    What are the exact spefications of your computer?
    Also did you computer come with 10.6 ot 10.5?.
    You may try entering the MPN (marketing part number) Format: M*****/**
    The MPN can be found on the product packaging or the System Profiler.

  • Is there example code for using Ni488 and PCI-GPIB card in non controller mode?

    Is there example code for using Ni488 and PCI-GPIB card in non controller mode?

    cymrieg,
    Your code looks good to me. What is the problem? What happens when it fails? What is the IBSTA value on the controller, and at what point in the code does it stop? What is the IBSTA value on the slave, and at what point does it stop?
    One thing is that you might not want to call IBCLR() in a loop on the device. At the beginning of the program is fine...This will send a clear command to the device and will clear out any LACS and TACS bits that might be set. Also your IBDEV call shouldn't be in a loop.
    Hope this helps, but let me know if you need more information.

    Good idea, and since the line count is only a handful of lines of code to implement, I took that option. See the [line count|http://pscode.org/stbc/help.html#linecount] section of the (new) [STBC Help|http://pscode.org/stbc/help.html] page for more details. (Insert plaintiff whining about the arbitrary limits set - here).
    I considered adding line length checking, but the [Text Width Checker|http://pscode.org/twc/] ('sold separately') already has that covered, and I would prefer to keep this tool more specific to compilation, which leads me to..
    kevjava wrote: 1. A button to run the code, to see that it demonstrates the problem that you wish for the forum to solve...
    Interesting idea, but I think that is better suited to a more full blown (but still relatively simple) GUId compiler. I am not fully decided that running a class is unsuited to STBC, but I am more likely to implement a clickable list of compilation errors, than a 'run' button.
    On the other hand I am thinking the clickable error list is also better suited to an altogether more abled compiler, so don't hold your breath to see either in the STBC.
    You might note I have not bothered to update the screenshots to show the line count label. That is because I am still considering error lists and running code, and open to further suggestion (not because I am just slack!). If the screenshots update to include the line count but nothing else, take that as a sign. ;-)

    Hi All,
    I want to know some examples for guidance in writing the Abap Routine at Data Target of Info Package for Deleting the Request from Info Cube after Update.
    In the Data Targets of Info Package for Info Cubes we can delete the previous request based on the Conditions, exceptions and also based on the Abap Routine. I just want to know how do we write the Routine.
    This option is adjacent to the Maintain to Data Target in Data Targets of Info Package and will available for Info cube only.

  • Is there a reference document(example, code) for developing usb mini port driver?

    Hi:
    I studied Bus\USB document of WDK. This document forces on developing USB device driver.
    And there are some IOCTL Interfaces of usb bus driver exposed to usb device, like IOCTL_INTERNAL_USB_SUBMIT_URB.
    But those IOCTL Interfaces seem to belong to USB hub driver(usbhub.sys).
    My job is to developing a usb mini port driver, like usbehci.sys. That can work with usbport.sys.
    So I should know the communication interfaces(IOCTL...etc) between them and implement these interfaces.
    Is there a reference document(example, code) for developing usb mini port driver ?

    No there is no reference documents for this, Microsoft stated from the beginning that they own that layer.  You really don't want to go there.

    Hi,
    If you have labview package, you can find lot of examples there.
    Start Labview -> Help Menu -> Find Examples-> Hardware input and output -> DAQ -> Here you either you can go to analog input -> then general -> search vi as per your requirement.
    Or you can use timer/counter/digital input & output example vi from here.

  • Example code for java compiler with a simple GUI

    There is no question here (though discussion of the code is welcome).
    /* Update 1 */
    Now available as a stand alone or webstart app.! The STBC (see the web page*) has its own web page and has been improved to allow the user to browse to a tools.jar if one is not found on the runtime classpath, or in the JRE running the code.
    * See [http://pscode.org/stbc/].
    /* End: Update 1 */
    This simple example of using the JavaCompiler made available in Java 1.6 might be of use to check that your SSCCE is actually what it claims to be!
    If an SSCCE claims to display a runtime problem, it should compile cleanly when pasted into the text area above the Compile button. For a compilation problem, the code should show the same output errors seen in your own editor (at least until the last line of the output in the text area).

    createConfigurationMBean call, where it throws a MBeanCreationException:
    // Get the MBeanHome bean
    Object obj = jndiContext.lookup("weblogic.management.adminhome");
    MBeanHome mbeanhome = (MBeanHome) javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject.narrow
    (obj, MBeanHome.class);
    // Get the server MBean
    JMSServerMBean jmsServerMB =
    (JMSServerMBean)mbeanhome.getMBean("examplesJMSServer",
    JMSServerMBean.class);
    // Create the new Queue
    JMSQueueMBean jmsQMB = (JMSQueueMBean)mbeanhome.createConfigurationMBean
    ("weblogic.examples.jms.fooQueue", "JMSQueue", jmsServerMB);

    Ok, I still don't see how I can do it differently with the admin tool. If
    you want to see the commands I'm using, I can post them, but the basic one
    is shown below in the previous message. We're trying to set up a script so
    that developers can just run it and properly configure WebLogic with the
    right components.
    Thanks,

    I am using the weblogic.Admin tool, not doing this in code. I will attempt
    to translate your advice when I get time again.
    My commands look like this:
    java weblogic.Admin -url 127.0.0.1:7001 -username system -passwordweblogic
    CREATE -mbean "mydomain:Type=JMSQueue,Name=MyJMSQueue"
    I create this, I create the JMSServer MBean, then do and INVOKE (insteadof
    CREATE) and call the addDestination method, adding the JMS Queue MBeanthat
    I created previously, using the same naming scheme as in the above CREATE.

    You can use createConfigurationMBean with JMSQueueConfig but in the

    I used
    the code below to create a topic.The code that you posted is the right way to create queus/topics. alwayscreate admin mbeans to admin
    server and let admin server internally create config Mbeans on the
    managed
    server as per the
    location/targets that you set in admin Mbeans.
    Queue's are the same, just replace the word
    Topic with Queue and it should work. It should show up in the console
    app.
    MBeanHome home = (MBeanHome)ctx.lookup(MBeanHome.JNDI_NAME+".myserver");
    ServerMBean myserver =(ServerMBean)home.getMBean("myserver",ServerMBean.class);
    String topicName = "MyNewTopic";
    JMSServerMBean jmsServerMB =(JMSServerMBean)home.getMBean("JMSServer","JMSServer","mydomain");
    JMSTopicMBean jmsTopicMB =(JMSTopicMBean)home.createAdminMBean(topicName,"JMSTopic","mydomain");
    jmsTopicMB.setJNDIName(topicName);
    jmsServerMB.addDestination(jmsTopicMB);

    There is no JMSQueueConfigMBean. What do you mean?

    Try JMSQueueConfig instead of JMSQueue.

    Me too! I'm trying to use the weblogic.Admin class to set up
    queues
    and
    topics and the JMS server. The same results in the config file:
    the
    queues
    and topic were set up at the root, the JMS server was added, but
    no
    destinations, even though I invoked the addDestination method withthe
    created MBean queues and topic as arguments. No exceptions, just
    no
    destinations on the JMS server resulted. What's the right order ofexecution

    I am trying to create JMSQueues programmatically using the MBean
    API.
    When
    I use MBeanHome.createAdminMBean(), a queue appears in the root
    of
    the
    config file. This is progress, but the queue is in the wrong
    place!
    I
    need
    the queues to be part of my JMS server's "destinations" as seen
    on
    the
    console.
    So now I am trying to use createConfigurationMBean() instead,
    but
    I
    can't
    figure out what the "parent" parameter should be- no
    documentation!
    My
    first guess was that the parent might be the JMSServer, but that
    doesn't
    work.
    Anyone have example code to insert JMSQueues and JMSTopics intoa
    specific
    JMS server's destinations?
    Here is the code I tried... All goes well until the final
    createConfigurationMBean call, where it throws aMBeanCreationException:
    // Get the MBeanHome bean
    Object obj =
    jndiContext.lookup("weblogic.management.adminhome");
    MBeanHome mbeanhome = (MBeanHome)javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject.narrow
    (obj, MBeanHome.class);
    // Get the server MBean
    JMSServerMBean jmsServerMB =
    (JMSServerMBean)mbeanhome.getMBean("examplesJMSServer",
    JMSServerMBean.class);
    // Create the new Queue
    JMSQueueMBean jmsQMB =(JMSQueueMBean)mbeanhome.createConfigurationMBean
    ("weblogic.examples.jms.fooQueue", "JMSQueue", jmsServerMB);
