Example of a IBAN Number

Hi,
Can any body give me an example of a IBAN number. What is the total composition like. I know its the is a combination of the following elements:
- The bank country key
- Check digit
- Country-specific account number
Regards
Aravind

Dear Arvind
IBAN structure:       ISO country code + two check digit + bank ID + account number, you generally only need to know the length of the bank ID in order to generate the bank data successfully.
Example for Turkey (TR):
According to the documentation on www.ecbs.org, the IBAN for Turkey
consists of the ISO code 'TR', a two-digit check number, a five-digit
bank ID (numeric), a one-digit reserve field, and a 16-digit account
number (alphanumeric).
The recommended settings of the field checks for Turkey are as follows:
        -  Bank account number: Length 16, checking rule 1
        -  Bank number: Length 5, checking rule 1 (or 3, if you want to
save the bank ID with leading zeros)

  • IBAN number not getting updated in ECC via IDOC CREMAS05

    Hi Experts
We have a business scenario where the vendor is created in MDM and the data is sent to PI from where the IDOC posts vendor master details  to relevant tables in ECC.
The IBAN information is provided in the IDoc in segment E1LFBKM-IBAN. However this IBAN datail is not getting updated in the Vendor master. All other bank data : Bank key, Account number, Bank Name, Country Key, Control Key are all getting updated except the IBAN number information.
I have searched a lot in all the forums but could not find a solution to this. I have checked and dont seem to miss any configuration.Another strange thing is normally when doing XK02 the system proposes an IBAN number if the field is not updated on the basis of Bank Key, Country Key and account number - this is also not happening in my case.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in Advance
    Varun

    HI,
regarding your missing IBAN proposal number, check SAPNET note 634191, maybe the proposed value is suppressed.

  • Which table stores old value of IBAN number and how to retrive old value.

    HELLO TEAM
We are going through an enhancement process that requires to display old value and new value of the IBAN number from the Vendor master records. As IBAN is a combination of the country key, Bank Key and Bank account number, which are all key fields, their values are stored in the form of key in CDHDR and and CDPOS tables. The bank details are only shown in other key tab/column and the field name is displayed as key in CDPOS. These sensitive field changes are displayed as created or deleted but do not show as old value=x and new value =Y.The old value and new value fields are blank. The same happens for object IBAN and the tiban table only stores iban numbers that are updated and does not store old value of the iban number.
If I have to display in the report s_alr_87012089, the old value and the new value of the iban number , how can i achieve the task. From which table we can retireve the old value of the IBAN number.

    Hello Team
We have explored all the above means. We are working in 4.7 environment. As we could not find an appropriate solution, we have approached the forum. The old value is not stored in cdhdr and cdpos and has the indicator as 'E' -Delete. So if an updation is done then it will delete old value and create a new value. This happens especially for the fields Bank Country Key,Bank Key, Bank Account Number. All we have checked the object attributes in the table lfbk, where for some fields it does track changes  and for other it does not track changes. This is especially for the fields kovon and kobis.
If the requirement is to track changes to the fields Bank Country Key,Bank Key, Bank Account Number, kovon, kobis, iban which are sensitive data, and the report has to display old value and new value for sox compliance, how can this be achieved?
I have also gone through the SAP note 580266
If we are running a report to track changes to all vendors or a selected group of vendors, only some fields show up the value old value and new value.
Would appreciate if an appropriate solution is provided.
Request for a solution as i waited for 2 days if any expert could help!!!
    Thank you

  • IBAN Number for Wire payment processing

    Hi All,
When we entered IBAN number on Vendor master and click generate button, Bank key, bank Account details and Swift Code nomen clature like "XXXXFRXX" are automatically updated on vendor master. We believe Swift Code "XXXXFRXX" is just a nomen clature and we need to update correct Swift Code on vendor master. Please provide more details.

    Hi Sunitha,
If i understand correctly, you want to enter correct IBAN number in the IBAN field which in turn will populate the respective bank details of the bank.
If this is what your are looking for.
Its not possible in SAP, system will not pull the Bank details like Bank Country, Key, Number & account based on the IBAN number.
Also, every country / bank had got its own unique IBAN number, system will not accept any random number.
All IBAN details will be stored in Table TIBAN
Let me know, if i understood your query properly, if not please be clear on what you are looking for.
    Thanks

  • Query in IBAN number in vendor master

    hi experts
    Hi
IBAN number starts with country code + 2 numeric number.
What is the meaning for 2 digit numeric number , what does it stands for ?
And how its getting triggered automatically for all vendors, but its not same for all vendor master.
Can some body explain me in this regard.
    Thanks

    Hi ,
IBAN is designed specifically for the combination of country, bank account and bank key. Please check the link :-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Bank_Account_Number.
In SAP, the logic to check the correctness of IBAN is built and accordingly it works.

  • IBAN number issue in IT0009

    Hi experts,
im facing an issue when updating the IBAN number in infotype 0009 for an employee. That is, im using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to modify the IBAN number. This FM updates the IBAN number and it gets stored in PA0009 table. But if i view the same record in PA30, it says that 'IBAN number is not maintained'
Even when i try to maintain the IBAN number in PA30, it gives "Generation not possible" error.
Could anyone tell me the reason for this issue?

    HI,
    - ADMIN IBAN record in T77S0 contains the value 'X'.
    - I could not find any table namely TIBAN_ACTIVE.
Actually my requirement is to allow the user to edit the Banky key, Bank account and IBAN number from ESS. When the user changes are approved, we are using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to update the IBAN and other details in IT 0009. It updates the IBAN field in PA0009 table.
When ew display the bank details in ESS, we are just reading the records from PA0009. This also displays teh IBAN number. But the problem is the IBAN stored in PA0009 is not there in IT 0009 in PA30. So i feel that it is an inconsistency in table and infotype.
I see that only if the record is in TIBAN table, then only PA30 holds teh IBAN number.
So pls tell me whether i should update and read to/from TIBAN tbale or from PA0009 table. What is the procedure.
    Pls suggest

How can i get iban number in transaction FDTA ?
    Thanks in advance.

This is a bit past the last activity of the thread, but I just had an idea, that requires me to get the port number in the init.
When this particular servlet shuts down, it generates an email. Since there is more than one instance running, I figured, I would put the HOST and PORT in the email.
The problem with saving this information from a request, is say it gets shutdown before any requests are generated.
The email then would have the HOST portion, but the port would be null.
Ideally there would be a way to get the port(s) that the server is listening on.

  • Deleting iban number

    hi,
we got a requirement that to delete IBAN number. I have logged on to change vendor master and tried to erase it.. but when I tried to save it its asking IBAN number is needed.
Now, the requirement is they don't want the IBAN number in place.
Another intresting thing is, after deleting the bank details and re-entering the bank details again it automatically selecting the iban number.
Is there any way to erase it or de-activate the IBAN number once given in vendor master record.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
usually it is sufficient to check the presence of bank account number in LFBK (vendors) en KNBK (suppliers). If there is only one occurence, the account may be deleted in TIBAN (or V_TIBAN).
In special cases, it is also necessary to check in house banks and in HR module.

  • IBAN number validation in IT 0009

    Hi all,
My requirement is to validate the IBAN number  (stored in IT 0009) changed by the user via ESS.
Is the IBAN number validation need to be performed based on the employee countr key, BANK key and account number or simply based on the IBAN number entered by the user?
Any BAPI to perform the validation for IBAN number?

    Hi shanthi,
I am facing the same problem in ESS.
Can you please let me know how you managed to validate IBAN entered via portal ?

  • Use IBAN number in outbound INVOIC IDOC

    Hi,
I'm looking for a field to store the IBAN number in outbound INVOIC IDOC's. Apparently there is no separate field available for this. I would like to avoid extending the current IDOC structure and I would have expected the IBAN number to be part of the SAP standard outbound INVOIC idoc.
Has anyone encountered the same requirement? I have looked at the standard INVOIC01 and INVOIC02 structure.
    Thanks
    Walter

    Hi Ken,
Thanks for the response. I'm indeed looking at the international bank account number.
I was hoping that SAP somewhere does have a solution to send the IBAN numbers and not that we have to overwrite the ACNUM field or create our own segment. I want to pass the regular bank account and the IBAN number in our IDOC so that we do not need to decide within SAP if a customer requires the IBAN number or any other number. We want to make that decision in our EDI mapping, not in SAP. I'm surprised SAP has not foreseen anything for this as the IBAN is widely used within Europe.
We already have a problem that we have more than 20 house bank with more than 20 bank accounts, so the SAP limitation of 20 K28 segments is already creating a problem for us.
I guess we will need to setup our own coding in the user exit. Thanks for your response anyway.
    Regards
    Walter

Curious if what your describing is similar to issue 4 which starts around 9:15 in video...
    https://youtu.be/q93jdOhi4Oc
If so this started for me, or at least I noticed it for the first time in LPX 10.1.1. What version of logic are you running?
I've recently found that this issue also affects note timing on instrument tracks that use the "External Instrument" plugin.

  • Transprot request could not move IBAN number From development to productio

my Requirement is, i have some changes to be made to present IBAN number, i have doen the necessary changes to IBAN number in FI12. and the same was saved, but the Transprot request is not able to move the saved changes to the Target client.
Can any one please help me in this regard.
    karunakar.

IBANs do not get saved into transport request, like other customizing objects do.  You need to push them into a transport manually.  Execute SM30, enter V_TIBAN in table/view and click on Maintain. Enter country and in the next screen, from the menu choose Table View -> Transport. In the system prompt, enter a workbench transport request no., press enter, then select the IBANs you want to transport and click on 'Include in Request' button. Release and import the transport to target system and you are good!
