I and new to Forms and is using 4.5 and 6.0 can anyone give me the free site address where I can download the examples build forms for my study. Having complex interface like Reference
If anyone willing to help me with forms build by you will be appriciated.

If you had installed the demos, then you will find sample forms in the forms directory. Otherwise, you can check it out in the installation CD. However, I don't think that they contain examples of reference (I'm not quite sure what you mean here - I assume that you want the object reference ie. shared code and objects between forms ?).

I don't have the environment to run demo code, and am not interested in the code itself, I simply want to run an app in IE to try to replicate a conflict between jinitiator and an IE Add-in that I'm responsible for.

Our browser Add-on is only available for IE, and the problem only happens when the add-on is running. So we've not tried Firefox but it wouldn't help unfortunately.

There is no binding of unauthenticated user to ether one of specified roles
Question: What place in the servlet spec allows serving secured resource for a user without appropriate role association?

Kinda then beat the the whole idea of authentication then, if you allow a user in that is not assigned to a security role? Anyway, I think you are looking to send the user to another page if they are not in a role but have an id, correct? Well, first it has to be a page outside the secure directory/ies. The error it generates is a 403. So add to your web.xml:

       <location>/403.jsp</location>
    </error-page>Anytime a user who is not a member of the allowed roles attempts a login, they will be redirected to this page.

118 : 0 : "F7" : 64 : "Duplicate Record"And if there is any entry for F7 key in the file, replace that entry with the key which was previously assigned for Duplicate Record.

How to submit InfoPath form data to multiple SharePoint lists at one time?

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to submit certain data in InfoPath form to separate SharePoint lists at the same time. I have a form that has two views with many data in them. I want to keep these data in separate SharePoint list besides keeping them in the XML. I know that you can submit to a form library using SharePoint document library data connection, but I'm not sure if you can use several data connections for submitting data to multiple SharePoint lists. Is it only possible to do using code? If yes, can anyone show a sample. I have never coded in InfoPath, though I used C# a lot in .Net.

This is an old thread but I tripped over a codeless method to do this with OOB InfoPath 2010 and SP 2010.
Assuming your main InfoPath form is published to a document library with the promoted fields that you want to see.
Publish your form to a new document library to capture the secondary data fields that you want separated out.
Using the Publishing Wizard do the following:
Go to – File then Publish
Select SharePoint Server “ Publish form to a SharePoint Library”
Enter location of your SharePoint or InfoPath Forms Services Site:
accept the default in this field from the first published event
Next screen, keep the default or change it, Form Library, Site Content Type or Admin Approved
Next screen, What do you want to do?
Create a new form library
Add new document library name and description
Next screen, Remove all promoted fields not applicable to the new library and add all of the ones you want to see data for.
Click Next and Publish
Come back into the form: If you don’t have buttons added directly to the form to submit or update, add them.
Create a new Action rule on the button
Label the rule to keep it straight
Condition, occurs when button clicked
Add action, Submit data
Use data connection to the second library created
Create a second new Action rule on the same button
Label the rule to keep it straight
Condition, occurs when button clicked
Add action, Submit data
Use original data connection to the library
Then you can add another action to close the form or do whatever you need.
Republish the form to both libraries to set the template for both.
File – Publish – SharePoint Server
Select Secondary library from drop down follow the rest of the prompts
Follow step 5a again, select Primary library from drop down, Add back in all of the promoted fields needed for the primary library and follow the prompts.
DOCUMENT YOUR FORM WELL FOR MAINTENANCE
Special considerations, your primary library needs a unique ID to reference in your secondary library.
Your secondary library will need a unique ID that is not related to the primary if you are going to store multiple records for a single primary library reference.
Example: One form, multiple updates.

Use Adobe Reader to Save Form Data

I use Acrobat 8 Professional to create several forms and enabled usage rights in Adobe Reader so that my users can save the form data locally using Adobe Reader 7 or higher. My questions are: (1.)Is there a limit to saving the form data? For example, the form can only be save 500 times per form or is it unlimited. (2.)If there is a limit to saving the form like 500 times, can the same form be recreated and the limit of 500 starts all over again? (3.)Do I need to purchase a license to save these form data? (4.)How many forms can have enable usage rights in Adobe Reader per Adobe Acrobat professional? The reason why i'm asking these questions is because I want to be in compliance with the Adobe license. My users don't have Adobe Acrobat Professional, but would like to use Adobe Reader to save the form data.

You'd probably be walking on thin ice by trying that. Could be a loophole but maybe not.

Not if you stay within the limit that is stated in the EULA.

Different forms? As far as I know there is no limit to the amount of different forms you use.
In my opinion, if you think you are going to go anywhere near the limitations of the EULA, consult with your attorney before proceeding. The form enabling function was never intended for large business use. Adobe has another, more costly, solution for that.

How to get form fields in a dynamic page as a portlet

I have a dynamic page(publish as portlet and added to a portal page) with a html form that has many radio button created dynamically (query a table and create as many radio button as records I found) and the name of each radio button is the id of the record from the table it represents.
When I click the submit button of my form it will recall the same portal page and then I have to check which radio buttons where selected to update the database depending on it.
The problem is that I can't get the radio buttons inside the dynamic page because they are created dynamically so I can't make them portlet parameters to be associated with page parameters.
So How can I tell which radio buttons have been selected?

Hi all,
I am a newbie to adobe livecycle process. I am trying to prepopulate the data like the users info when the form is originated in the workspace.
I did use the samples example for form render service but added to variables called first and lastname as i want these fields to be populated.I am also using an xmlvariable which stores the xml data-(first name and last name) from the form (i got the xml data from the jDBC service usingquery multiple rows by quering edcpricnipal entity). I have followed the steps from http://www.roland-lopez.com/blog/index.cfm?event=showEntry&entryId=ECB034DA-3048-5304-BA9 BB7B0DEDC725A.
Now I am trying to use the sevice in my application. hennce I created a input variable called app_info of type xfa form and in advanced settings I called the render service which is created before. I am using a PDF file in resources.
When I try to open the form in workspace I get the error

How to keep the information in the form?

In our jsp,for example:
a form for use to fill some information.when submit the form,meet someting,such as the loginId is exist,so I call history.back().In normal page ,it works well,the information still in the form.But I found that if some input's(as select) data get from the database, the information which was filled by user disappeared!
Why this happen and how to solve?Could anybody tell me?

Users having trouble in Adobe X with a form created in Adobe 9

I was told by and Adobe support person to recreate it in the newer version, Adobe X, but will this be an issue for users on previous Adobe software versions?
Issues submitted by client:
We are having difficulty with my government forms packet. I fill everything out and hit submit and nothing happens. I go back and check to see if anything is missing and all dates and where I fill in my social security number are missing. no matter how many times
I fill it out it is gone. I'm not prompted to do anything else. Jordan says it must be my computer. I have a fairly new Dell with windows 7 and have never had any problems filling out forms on it before.

How do I create a header in the response table for a column I want to use that is not on the form it

Example: My form has 10 fillable questions. The Response table uses 10 columns to show the answers to those questions. I would like to use 3 more columns to record internal information. How do I insert the header titles?

You can go to Responses view tab, focus on your last column header and then click menu Table->Add Column After. Or you click + button at the end of table - refer below image.
I am not clear your question "How do I insert the header titles?" Do you mean you want to use your form title as data value in each cell in the column? If yes, you can set formula in the column following below steps.
1. Click +Add a Row button
2. Focus on the cell on column L (I assume you want to set your formular on this column).
3. Input ="your form title" into the cell
Then after you received a submission, the form title would display in the related cell in each row.
