do you installer for Exceed (humming bird) the emulator..
because i need to revised a custom pll of the seeded form..
my problem is in our office they dont have this emulator to open a seeded form in unix..
also, what are the things i need to know during installation

with regards to installation...i think i was just confuse since i was thinking how can i inhereit

If thinking logically, then there is no report for the same..this may be because you enter the qty or value limits in the contract doc itself....So, when you make the PO for the same, and if the qty or value exceeds the system automatically provides the message..stating that the qty or value has exceeded....
So, there is no report for the same...

Error in executing a process for Flex compilation ....exceeds 32K...

deployin my model i get the following error-message.
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Error: Branch between 64935 and 97770 around line 0 exceeds 32K span. If possible, please refactor this component.
Error: Branch between 64935 and 97770 around line 0 exceeds 32K span."
Do i delete a sort-element from my model it is deployed very well. So what does this message exactly mean and how can I locate where the error occurs and how can i fix that problem because i need this sort-element to be in my model.

Hi Tobias,
You are receiving this error due to a current limitation in the Flex server. How you can fix this is to split the iView you are currently working on into two iViews, and embed one within the other. This will decrease the size of the current iView you are receiving the error for and eliminate this problem.

Hi Nitya H,
There are many resons behind Time out issue.
It is better to find where exaclty, our report is taking more time.
Below are the some of the bottle necks we need to monitor for time out issue:
1) OLAP query generation time.
2) F4 Search time.
3) Read Cache.
4) Write Cache.
Above features we can monitor @ RSRT transaction.
If OLAP query generation time is taking much time means ,pls regenerate the query @ RSRT.
For F4 search ,keep mater data as data retrival target.
For Read Cache and Write Cache increase the query memory @ RSRT.
Plse check the report and let me know if there is other bottle necks for query execution....
_Note:_ This is just a high level view but we can have many performance drills...like Free char ,complex calculated key fig...etc..

Budget Exceeded but no Error message Assign more than allocated

Hi Gurus,
I am stuck in a situation where the Error Message BP603 while creating a PO for a wbs at level 2.
IN cj30 , i found out that Budget = 69500000 and assigned = 69950772
if i create a PO OF even .30 (thirty paisa) the budget exceeded amount = 450772.35, which is actually the diffrecene betweenn assigned and Budgeted values.
Now we are not able to raise any PO
Below is tolerance limit

Hi Rohit,
In Budget report, Assigned value = Actual + Commitment
If your assigned value is great than Budget, then you will get Budget exceeded error when you try to do any further posting against specific WBS element.
So, you will need to supplement Budget to cover shortfall.
You can also refer following SAP note which shows how assigned value is calculated.

There are lot of threads already discussed in this forum for error message you are mentioning.
Please search them.

I updated to Mavericks yesterday and my computer is exceedingly slow and the notes that were in my email have disappeared. How can I get them back??

I updated to Mavericks yesterday and since then, my computer has been exceedingly slow!
Windows and applications take forever to open. I get the spinning pinwheel of death every few minutes.
The notes that were in the email app. are gone! where are they?!

The notes are in the Notes application. Restart the computer and see whether there's an improvement in performance.

PI 7.11 - SXI_CACHE Issue - SQL 0904 - Resource Limit Exceeded

Hi PI & IBM I Gurus,
We are having the SXI_CACHE issue in our PI 7.11 SPS04 system. When we try to do the delta cache refresh through SXI_CACHE, it is returning the error SQL 0904 - Resource limit exceeded. When we try to do the full cache refresh, it is getting the issue 'Application issue during request processing'.
We have cleaned up the SQL Packages with DLTR3PKG command, which did not resolve the issue. We recently performed a system copy to build the QA instance and I observed that the adapter engine cache for the development is presented in the QA instance and removed that cache from there.
I am not seeing the adapter engine connection data cache in our PI system. The adapter engine cache is working fine.
All the caches are working fine from the PI Administration page. The cache connectivity test is failing with the same error as I mentioned for the SXI_CACHE.
Please let me know if you have encountered any issue like this on IBM I 6.1 Platform.

Is the SQL pack really at its boundary of 1GB ?
... otherwise, it is perhaps a totally different issue ... then DLTR3PKG cannot help at all ...
If you should see this big SQL Package, you should use PRTSQLINF in order to see if there is more or less over and over the same SQL in, just with different host variables or so ...
If the last point should be the case, I would open a message with BC-DB-DB4 so that they can check how to help here or to talk to the application people to behave a bit different ...

SAP GUI with SNC logon and Hummingbird Exceed - SAP GUI window size issue

We have discovered an issue when SAP GUI 7.10 is used to logon via SNC and Hummingbird Exceed is used on the same workstation to logon to a UNIX system either via x-windows or telnet.
When the user logs onto a UNIX system using Hummingbird Exceed, then uses SAP GUI to logon to a SAP system with SNC authentication, the SAP GUI authentication works, but the favourites list is not fully displayed and has to be resized before any of the entries are available.
Has anybody else seen this issue, and do they know if there is a fix available ? We wondered if there might be an issue with fonts or some other sort of conflict between Exceed and SAP GUI, but it is strange that the problem only occurs if SNC authentication is being used, and when userid+password is used to logon to SAP the problem does not occur.

I was curious too as I found it interesting... so I tested a few combinations, but could not reproduce what Tim has described, at least not before my CPU reached 100% and the applications stopped responding (~2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 48 kbps connection, latency ~ 2 x width of the Pacific Ocean, but Backend 7.00!).
However I did notice some indications which might be a help (based on 7.00!):
Back in 4.?? there was a problem in that large menus could not be searched(!). Sorry, I don't have access to SAP now, but from memory the note # was 444043 (or very similar) and introduced a form routine for large menus - from a printscreen I still have the message number which led me to the note - 'I476(S#)'.
The system certainly distinguishes between MENU_TYPEs and the above note corrections could be found in several locations relating to the SAP menu 'S', the role menu 'A' etc, but I could only see that for favourites 'F' this is implemented for the menu search (when searching, not when loading).
@ Tim: Ask you customer to create a favourites menu which only has 1 node or max 2 (certainly not more than 4!) and ~ 20 executable objects in it (not more than 30!)? Can they under any conditions achieve the described problem with such a menu?
If not possible to reproduce, then the closest I could guess is a maximum limit of 4 nodes and max 30 objects for a 'F'avourite menu, before it is a minimum candidate for "performance problems" and consideration to be converted to a role ('A'ctivity group) menu instead.
Sorry that I can only help by speculating, because I could not reproduce what you have described.
Hopefully this problem will not happen to me in the New Year, and hope you will solve it for the rest of the year

Blackberry ID - forgot password, forgot password recovery info, exceeded login attempts, why can't BB send me email to reset password.

THE ISSUES ARE:

2. FORGOT PASSWORD RECOVERY INFO
3. EXCEEDED ATTEMPTS TO LOGIN
I HAVE READ OTHER PEOPLES FORUM PROBLEMS THAT ARE THE SAME. WHEN I FOLLOWED LINKS THAT SUPPORT GAVE THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM.
What I need is simply this: Blackberry to send me a RESET PASSWORD link to the email I have registered with Blackberry WITHOUT HAVING TO PROVIDE PASSWORD RECOVERY INFO. This will enable me to bypass unknown recovery password info and access my Blackberry ID account.
Why haven't I been able to find a solution to fix the problem?

If I can't remember my password or recovery password info there is NO other option available that will send me a reset password via email so I can keep my current BB ID.
KB34776 - does not apply because you HAVE TO BE ABLE TO REMEMBER YOUR RECOVERY PASSWORD!

Workaround
If the BlackBerry ID password has been forgotten but the answer to the password recovery question is known, select Forgot Password on the smartphone and answer the recovery question to generate a password reset email. Follow KB28685 to complete this process.
If the BlackBerry smartphone user knows the email address used for the BlackBerry ID login but is unable to remember the associated password then it is possible to reset the password using the steps below:

Overview
BlackBerry ID is the master key to BlackBerry smartphone products, sites, services and applications, including BlackBerry Protect and the BlackBerry App World storefront.
To prevent unauthorized access to the account, the BlackBerry ID will become locked out after a number of failed attempts. See the information below for an outline on the expected behavior:
Local Authentication Lockout
On BlackBerry PlayBook and BlackBerry smartphones if the user enters their BBID password incorrectly 10 times on the BBID sign in screen, verify password screen, or BBID Edit screens, they are LOCKED OUT of all the following functions on that BlackBerry device for 15 minutes:
Authenticating with their BlackBerry ID on the sign in screen
Authenticating with their BlackBerry ID on the verify password screen
Authenticating with their BlackBerry ID on the BBID edit screens
Note: The user can still log in on the web or any other devices associated with their BlackBerry ID. They are only locked out on the device where the 10 incorrect attempts occurred. On the locked out device, after 15 minutes, they get 1 try to provide the correct password on the sign in and/or verify password screens. If they fail to enter the correct password, they are locked out for an additional 15 minutes on that device.
Account Server Lockout
Users have total of 10 attempts to enter their password correctly against the BlackBerry ID Account Server.
The scenarios that increment the Account Server lockout counter are as follows:
Providing an incorrect password anywhere on the BlackBerry ID web portal (blackberry.com/blackberryid)
Providing an incorrect password within the BlackBerry ID Edit feature on any BlackBerry device or BlackBerry PlayBook
Note: if a user provides an incorrect password 5 times on the BlackBerry ID web portal (blackberry.com/blackberryid), and then 5 more times on the BlackBerry ID Edit feature on their BlackBerry PlayBook, the cumulative number of failed attempts is 10. Once the user has made 10 incorrect attempts to provide their password against the Account Server, they are locked out of the Account Server PERMANENTLY until they reset their password.

Note: The Account Server Lockout does NOT prevent the user from local authenticating on devices (the user can still authenticate on the sign in and verify password screens on their BlackBerry devices).
Forgot Password Lockout
If the user answers their Security Question incorrectly 10 times, they are locked out for 15 minutes of Forgot Password functionality on all interfaces such as:
BlackBerry website (blackberry.com/blackberryid)
BlackBerry PlayBook
BlackBerry smartphone
Note: After 15 minutes, they get 1 try, and if they fail to answer the question correctly, they are locked out for an additional 15 minutes.

Overview
To change the BlackBerry ID password, complete the steps below for the specific device:
From the BlackBerry 10 smartphone:
Swipe down from the top bezel on the home screen and select Settings.
Scroll down and select BlackBerry ID.
Select Change Password.
Enter the current password in the Current BlackBerry ID Password field.
Enter the new password in the New BlackBerry ID Password and Confirm New Passwordfields.
Select Submit to complete the password change.
To confirm the change You have changed your password will be displayed.
Also, if the BlackBerry ID password has been forgotten, select Forgot Password on the smartphone and answer the recovery question to generate a password reset email. Follow KB28685 to complete this process.
Note: When using the recovery question password reset method, the generated email will be delivered to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone if the BlackBerry ID email address has been setup via Settings >Accounts
From a computer:
Visit http://www.bbid.com/ from a PC or BlackBerry smartphone browser.
Click Log in.
Enter the BlackBerry ID Username (email address) and password, then click Sign In.
Click Account Details.
Next to Password, click Edit.
Enter in the current password, followed by the new password. Enter the new password again in the confirm password field, then click Save.
Click Done to exit from the BlackBerry ID account information screens.
From the BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 6:
Navigate to Options > Third Party Applications > BlackBerry ID.
Click on Change next to BlackBerry ID Password.

IT ALL LEADS BACK TO THE SAME UNHELPFUL NON-SOLUTION OF USE THE PASSWORD RECOVERY QUESTION....
Can the tech department of Blackberry please sort out this ridiculous unhelpful system by sending customers a direct email if password is forgotten so they can reset without having to go through the above without finding a solution.

Hopefully, this information will be of use to you.
But do please keep in mind that security is a 2-way street...the human element play an equal part in that security, and you have failed at that in this situation, yet desire for the automated methods to still recover for you. Such just isn't possible, because your failure has exceeded the capabilities of the automated methods.
Hence, you likely need human intervention from an actual BB representative, which is not available in this forum (as discussed in the first link I gave you above). But, the methods to attempt to seek human intervention are posted within the 2nd link I gave you.

Memory Leak, Receiver Got Null Message & Consumer limit exceeded on destina

When running program that adds an Object message to a JMS queue and then recieves it. I get the following.
1) interminitent NULL messages recieved.
2) jms.JMSException: [C4073]: Consumer limit exceeded on destination interactionQueueDest. Even though only one receiver can be receiving via the supplied program.
3) After many message are added to the queue 1000's the Message Queue goes to Out Of Memory exception. It should swap to disk!!
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :

Maximum open_cusors exceed error in oracle

I am returning resultset object from many of my functions.After I run a few programmes i get "maximum no of cursors exceeded in oracle" error. I am not closing Statement obj also i am not closing reultset obj.Which one is to be closed to remove the above error. I realise that my problem would be solved if I pass Statement to or from the function .
But the problem is the I am more than halfway through the project and the chaging all functions in the above manner will be too time consuming . Is there no other solution ? . Why does the getStatement() method in ResultSet give a "method not supported Exception".
Also will the statement obj in the called function be eligible for garbage collection ? Because that will close my ResultSet.
I have already increased the limit of open cursors.
What I want to know is ,whether closing all resultSets will sufficient for closing the open_cursors in Oracle or is it necessary to close all statements to close the open_cursors.
In short whether cursors are related to statements or are they related to Resultsets.
Also I want to know why are my resultSets and statements not getting garbage collected.Because if they would get Garbage collected then they would get closed ,and thus the open_cursors would be closed too.
But then if the statement in the called func gets garbage collected while the resultSet object is still in use , then the resultSet would become null and a null pointer Exception will be thrown.
Considering all this, do you feel it is mandatory for me to pass statements between the functions ? or is there any other awy out?

Afraid not, as connection object may hold a reference to it, and connection objects are in a pool, so the statement object will be there as long as the connection object's there.

Well, I don't know the inside code, but, as I experienced, the problem is you openned too many statement (conn.createStatement()), because you are using a connection pool, you may re-use a connection object many times, this is kind of like this:
conn.createStatement();
conn.createStatement();
..//a lot of themso you opened too many statement, and I suspect this is the problem according to my testing.

If you close the statement, the result set of it will be closed as well, but I don't think close result set could close statement.

As I mentioned above, because you're using a connection pool, and unless you explicitly close statement object, its reference my be hold by the connection object and won't be garbage collected.
But then if the statement in the called func gets

Usually, you should return a collection (like HashTable or Vector etc.) instead of the result set, so, you can have one point control over the statement and result set object. But in you case, you have to track each statement object and close it.

I have Movies on my iMac that I want to share with Apple TV. I have no problem getting the movies to show up and play on Apple TV. However, when I synch my iPhone to to my iMac all of the movies try to synch to the iPhone and this exceeds the available capacity (32) of the iPhone. So the question is, how do I make the movies available on Apple TV but not synch to my iPhone?

I can't open iTunes on my brand new Mac!I am getting the message that I am exceeding my limit of 5 computers! Huh, I only have two desktops and two laptops (not counting my new MacBook Pro). I do have an old (discarded) laptop that had iTunes! Help!!

Hi! I have a new MacBook Pro, but I haven't been able to put iTunes on it even though I have used it for years on my iPhone, iPad, and two Windows desktops and two Windows laptops. I keep getting the message that "I am exceeding my iTunes account limit of 5 computers (not counting my iPhone and iPad, which are explicitly excluded from the count according to the message)". As anyone can see, I only have 4 computers, so I should not have any problems with installing iTunes, but this same message says that I need to deauthorize at least one computer or maybe I have extra authorizations on a computer.
I can't even find a list or map of the computers on my iTunes account! Please, somebody help ASAP!!!!! Thanks!!!!!
