Exceeding Sending limits
My iphone suddenly cannot send email. I can recieve email, but when I try to send I get an error message telling me I have exceeded my sending limits. Any ideas? This does not happen on my macbook pro. I can send email on it. It is just the iphone.

The iPhone has no sending limits. That message is coming from your email service provider.

This happened today out of the blue. I was having problems with my Yahoo account stalling on my iMac so decided to change over to iCloud...
After sending the first email sucessfuly telling everyone of the change I got "The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server p05-smtp.mail.me.com"
After much frustration and time I eventually set up a new outgoing server...
Mail/Preferences/Accounts/Outgoing Mail Server SMTP / (drop down select) Edit SMTP server list/ +new and double click and enter 'smtp.mail.me.com'/ then select Advanced tab/ check, use default ports/ check use SSL/Authentication - Password/ enter username and password/click okay to retuen to Preferences/Select 'smtp.mail.me.com...etc' as outgoing mail server and select TLS com.apple...etc certificate /Save
This has cured the problem for me, but seems like a bit of a farce really.
On iPad and iPhone it's pretty much the same deal but it's slightly different.
Settings/iCloud/Account/Advanced/Mail (allow sending from [email protected]) / Outgoing Mail Server/Primary Server (set to off)/Add server/Host Name - enter 'smtp.mail.me.com' /username & Password/SSL set to On/Authentication - set to Password/Server port 587
All of this worked for me so I hope I save someone the same headache I had ALL DAY! So freakish that this ahppened to a all deivces in one day unless there is a coms problem with Icloud here, but everything else works...I hope...

When I attempted to send my first Mail-originated e-mail this morning, I received the message:
The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server p13-smtp.mail.me.com.

I tried to send from both my iPhone and MacBook and received identical messages.
As I hadn't sent a single e-mail, how can this be?
Following somewhat old thoughts here in Apple Discussions, I called my Service Provider to see if the problem was at their end.
After a delightful 1/2 hour it became abundantly clear the problem was not with the Service Provider.

Unable to send email message from iMac (os x Mavericks 10.9.4) from iCloud mail due to "exceeding daily sending limits". Have not sent any emails today. As a test, I emailed a message to myself using iCloud mail from iPhone. Able to open email on iMac, respond to that email and sent it without an error message. But keep getting exceeding limits message with new email.

This is working fine for conditions where there is less amount of data, but when there is more data this query is failing.
I do not know what to do now. Is there any way of this limit or do I need someother mechanisms to generate XML Files.
The challenge is we need to generate XML Files and send the XML Data to an Interface which will use this data to display in a cell phone.
I am really frustated now as I am getting this error when I am testing for huge amount of data.
Appreciate if anyone can help me out ASAP.

HT1430 Error message - exceeded send limit for iCloud account- when I did not exceed limit
I can not send any email mesages from my iPhone 4 using my icloud account. Every time I send a new message it copys to my outbox and an error message states - "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message failed because you exceeded your sending limit." I researched the limites for an iCloud account and I have not come close to the uper limites - HELP!

If you continue to exceed message sending limits, try the following methods to resolve the issue:
Check your Mail Outbox to see if it contains a backlog of messages. Resend or delete messages here that may be continuing to try to send.
Check to see if you have any network monitoring software that might be using your iCloud account to automatically send messages, such as firewalls or internet security software configured to send an alert when a potential security issue is detected.
If you send messages to groups, make sure all email addresses in the group are valid. (For example, is the recipient's email address spelled correctly?

Error message--Outlook Calendar-exceeding iCloud limits
I am on Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I synk with my iPhone with iCloud. As I try to save new events in Outlook (desktop) I get an error message: "could not save item. Exceeding iCloud limits" I checked my desktop iCloud and I am using a fraction of the 5GB. Anyone else has this problem?

WIndows 7, Outlook 2010, all the latest win updates loaded. including apple and microsoft OS/apps.
I use iCloud with iPhone IPad, Macbook Air w/Outlook 2011 Mac and PC with the above config.
I also tried Google Apps, but that doesnt seemt to work well for calendar & contacts, email no problem
The exchange server worked great, but looking to move off that service, but keep the ability to use outlook.
Working with the apple team, they suggested moving to iCloud.
"Exceeding iCloud Limits!" - which doesn't seem to be clear what they mean for two caledar items added in outlook PC. -
As of yesterday, calendar subscribers are no longer getting event alerts. We are not exceeding the limits for number of calendars, and have not installed new hardware or software. What else could be causing this, and how do I fix it? This is critical!

Hi-- i'm trying to get the MBR of a fairly large geometry (1429 vertices) and run into a strange problem:

At KMS I recently ran into the same ORA-22813, when running this cursor SQL
CURSOR lcur_montage IS
select m.mont_id, m.sys_PK, m.krtp_id, m.mont_geom, m.til_dato_id , m.forloeb

where m.fra_dato_id = in_dato_id
and m.krtp_id = 1
order by m.mont_id;
Omitting the order by clause makes it work fine. If I alternatively omit the SDO_geometry m.mont_geom as a select item, the query also works.
Our problem seems to arise when trying to sort selected rows, which contain large objects such as SDO_geometry.
Yesterday we played around with SORT_AREA_SIZE, but to no avail. It turns out to be a known bug.

The difficulty with BT's "solution" to its send limits (ie to break the recipient list up and send several emails) is when one of those recipients wants or needs to do a reply which goes to all members - it's not possible. That is, when I send an email to all members of my residents association, I have to split the list; so when a recipient does a "reply all" their reply only goes to the recipients who were on that email list – the recipients of the other email won't receive their reply.
My association list is only about 80 email addresses; not huge, so BT, your recipient send limit is too low!thameshaven wrote:

Error with Contacts - "Exceeding iCloud limits"
I have Outlook 2007 synched with icloud. I normally don't have any trouble. But today I tried to alter a contact, and I got a popup that says "Exceeding iCloud Limits." But when I log into my iCloud, I'm not even using 1% of my allowed storage. I've tried to add more contacts, and get the same error.
So, then I logged into icloud.com and tried to make changes there, and when I do, I get a popup that says "Your changes to this contact couldn't be saved because of a server error. Please try again"
Is anyone else having this problem? I did some tests in Calendar, and it is working fine.
Thanks.Same deal. Edited a contact, now a pop-up everytime I open Outlook 07, refresh icloud etc.. 4.6+ GB unused storage.
My Fix: Went to icloud.com (thank you) and deleted that contact completly. Back to Outlook and deleted that contact. Closed Outlook and when I opened it back the error message was gone.
I've edited other contacts to see if the same pop-up would appear ("cannot save changes exceeding cloud limits")
and it seems to be okay. Finally.
