Excel 2007-SAP Copy & Paste Issue

I'm not sure this is the correct forum so if it needs to be moved please let me know.
I am not a programmer, but we have a custom transaction that allows financial personnel to copy rows (sometimes tens of thousands) of data from Excel into SAP - which has the Office Integration tool excel embedded in the screen. Sometimes the user may have one or several different Excel 2007 windows open and one more SAP client windows open. Both SAP and Excel will periodically "lock up" or "freeze" after either one or several copy and paste functions. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. The only common theme I can gather is it only happens in Excel 2007 and not Excel 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using SAP Gui 710 Patch Level 13
All PC's have at least the minimum required to run Office and SAP if not more in most cases.

I am getting some problems in copying text from crm web ui portal to excel 2007. I am not sure about this, as it is SAP related problem or with windows 7.
Earlier we were using Windows XP but now after windows 7 we are getting this problem and its not only for web ui, but I copied some text from SAP marketplace into excel2007 and it shows popup which asks for credetials, even if you give your all possible credentials it doesnt work and you have to kill the Excel from task manager.
Can you please guide me in this.

Excel 2007 csv file formatting issue

Our users create .csv files for upload to SAP. Their habit is to include a number of blank lines in excel to make it more readable.
In Excel 2003, blank lines were handled as, literally, blank lines, and opening in a text editor shows exactly that, a blank line (with a CR-LF character to terminate the row).
In Excel 2007 however, the blank line consists of a number of commas equal to the no. of columns, followed by the CR-LF termination. Hope that makes sense.
While the 2003-generated .CSVs are fine, the 2007 versions cause SAP to throw an exception ("Session never created from RFBIBL00") and the upload fails. The question therefore is, has anyone ever come across anything similar, or is anyone aware of any remediation that might be possible? Haven't been able to find any documentation on this Excel 2003-2007 change sonot able to address the issue through Excel config.

2008r2 RDS Copy / Paste issue between remote app and client

I am running a 2008r2 Remote App server with Win7/XP(sp3) clients. All devices are up to date on current service packs and patches. I can open RDWeb applications and paste between other RDWeb applications, but cannot paste from RDWeb to local
applications. I can also paste between various locally running applications, but not from a local application to an RDWeb application. Each machine is maintaining it's own paste buffer, but not exchanging between the server and local machine.
I have tried using different applications on both local and remote app, with the same results (Word, excel, notepad).
I have verified the client and server settings are set to allow printer and clipboard resources, and have verified that there are no GPO's applied to either the server or client.
I have tried to include as much relative information as I can, please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
Any help resolving this is most appreciated!

I wish most of the posters would be as detailed as you are. Good troubleshooting! :)
Two things to try:
1) when you connect DIRECTLY to the server via MSTSC and set a checkbox in the OPTIONS/Local Resources - to share Clipboard - do you then get the Copy paste working?
IF SO
2) Then please make sure that the Published applications - RemoteApp - have an additional line (Custom RDP settings) in properties (you miht need to recreate the RemoteApp's
redirectclipboard:i:1
then it should work.

Crashing issue+ copy/ paste issue

Dear all, I am facing two serious bug issues:
1) on many www pages I am facing serious issue (e.g. www.makezine.com , but also on almost all others I was browsing). After approx 20 sec to several minutes firefox browser close itself and home android page appear. There is no error message at all
2) once I copy any text outside firefox browser, then I not end it to any text field on Web page opened under firefox browser, there is no way to paste it
Can you please fix these bugs? My smartphone is samsung galaxy s5, android v 4.2 (kitkat)

* 3. to fix this, the workaround I believe is to do the following instead of 2 iv):
** iv) tap on the checkmark icon first to make sure 'Aaa' is not selected and then long press and use the combined clipboard copy/paste icon to paste (or on some devices a Paste icon instead of the combined clipboard copy/paste icon will be shown and you can use this Paste icon). Weird Copy Paste Issue

Having a strange issue with Copy & Paste on my Windows 8.1 install. Whenever I copy a link, text or anything even a picture.. usually when I go to paste it.. either by keyboard shortcut (ctrl + V) or right clicking.. nothing is pasted. In the right
click menu, Paste is there and not grayed out. It is very frustrating, as I always have to go back and copy it again and try again. Most of the time it works the second time sometimes it will not. Not sure even how to go about troubleshooting this. Anyone
else ever experience this issue? When copying and pasting from within the same app it doesn't happen. But more so when I am on a site.. I copy the address.. by the time I switch to Outlook and open a new message and paste, it's lost.

Excel 2007 pie chart conversion issue

I'm having issues converting my Excel 2007 spreadsheet that contains several pie charts into pdf. It will convert fine for everything but the pie charts. Their edges or outlines look perfect in Excel and the print preview, but once converted to pdf they're all choppy and rough looking. How can I fix this, as it makes the pdf look very unprofessional. I'm on Vista with all the latest updated, use office 2007 with all updates installed and adobe acrobat 8 with all the updates. I tried converting it through the acrobat feature in excel, as well as the print to pdf option. I even went so far to reinstall office 2003, with the same result. the pies were looking a bit smoother, but still way too choppy. how can i get adobe to convert perfect circular pie charts?

From the ribbon>Acrobat>Create PDF. This gives me the ability to choose which tabs I want to include in the report.
I made PDF Printer my default and it worked! Thanks!

Copy+paste issues in Flash CC 2014

Is anyone else having trouble copying and pasting code in Flash CC 2014? I typically work with smaller code blocks and then merge them into a master file, but that requires copy+paste. When I copy, it appears to copy (paste becomes highlighted) but I cannot paste in any way into the code. it's not working between documents, and not even working inside a single document.
Am I missing something obvious? Any help would be appreciated.
- Just confirmed, switching back to Flash Pro CS6 works just fine with copying and pasting, as long as the content on the clipboard is copied from Flash CS6 and not CC 2014. I cannot copy anything from Flash CC 2014 into another Flash document.

It's in the code area, and I tried pasting it (didn't show anything) and then executing the code, and it didn't do anything.
I then tried creating a text area on the page, and went to the Edit menu - and "Paste Special" was the only available option. So I tried that, and it says "Source: Unknown Source" and the only option I have is to Cancel.
I then went into Flash CS6, and copied a line of code from that. I tried pasting it into the Flash CC 2014 actions console, and it did nothing. I then went back to my text area (still in Flash CC 2014) and it pasted the code in there fine.
So, it looks like I still cannot copy from or paste into the actions panel Flash CC 2014, which is what I need. But, maybe this sparks another idea? Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Cut, copy, paste issues

I have been using a Z10 for the past 2 years, so I am familiar with ho the cut, copy, paste is supposed to work. My new Leap does cut, copy, paste but it does so inconsistently. If I have copied a password from my Password Keeper and used it, for example, banking, then I copy something different and try to paste what I just copied, when I paste, the password I copied previously gets pasted instead of what I copied most recently. Also, whe I attempt to paste something into an email and at the end of the email, I am unable to place the cursor at the end of the email, the last word of the email is highlighted which forces me to paste over the last word in the email. Of course the pasting itself isn't always the last thing I copied, so I, too often, have to long type everything that I should be able to copy, paste. I'm wondering if the glitch is in the newest OS. Th one I am using is: Software Release: 10.3.2.226 and OS Version: 10.3.2.2339. Thank you for your help.

This solution just occurred to me. You can select the range of text that will include all your selections, and then Format > Table > Convert Text to Table.
As a table you will be allowed to select non-contiguous cells and Cut or Copy them. When done, you can Format > Table > Convert Table to Text.

Copy/Paste Issues

I'm working on a simple order form. I scanned in the pdf and then manually placed the form fields. Because a lot of the fields are the same size, I used copy/paste to speed up the process. Now when I go to enter text in one field, it enters the identcal text in all the pasted fields. Is there a way to seperate each field?
Also, how do I make the text auto shrink to stay within the form size?

Select the fields you want to edit, go to Properties, Appearance, set Font
Size to Auto.

Copy/paste issues with certain files...

I notice that in some pdf files I get that I can't do a copy/paste.... I think the reason is because its a graphic vs real text (even though it is text that I see) not sure if I have the right terminology here....
In any case I can't c/p....
Also, when I do a word search that doesn't work, I assume it's for the same reason....
Any work around for this, or a way to convert the file to pdf text ?

Not with Reader no.
Adobe Actobat has an OCR function or there are a few other third party applications that are dedicated OCR tools.

Copy/Paste issues with CS6 Creative Cloud

I'm unable to paste text from any document, it's plain text and the copy/paste feature is working on my system including other Adobe installed products.
Any ideas?

Copy/paste issues and delays in snow leopard

I swear that since upgrading to Snow Leopard I've had trouble copying and pasting. Well, pasting actually. I can copy but when I paste (with command keys or edit menu) it'll be the last thing that had been in the clipboard. If I copy then wait a few seconds before pasting there's usually not an issue. I thought at first it was just with one particular application but it appears to be with pretty much everything.
Am I insane or is there something I can do to fix it? I'm copying and pasting constantly (for work, this is my work machine I'm having issues with) and the 2-4 second delay really messes with my routine.

I am getting this same problem too. I will copy in one application and cmd+tab to the other application to paste. When I do there is a delay of it actually pasting.

Photoshop CS4 64-bit - Copy & Paste Issue

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I am having trouble copying and pasting things. The issue is that after I copy something/Print Screen, it takes several pastes for Photoshop to finally realize the change. Basically, the first couple of times I paste, the thing that was previously copied gets pasted it. I don't know if it's making a difference but it switches the paste to the latest thing that was copied faster after I minimize and maximize back the program. It's extremely annoying especially because then I have to either undo each time/delete the layers. Plus, I do a lot of frame comparisons between different video sources and it's hard to tell whether the thing being pasted was changed or not. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unless you want the whole screen, why not use the Snipping tool? It's great!
Anyway, regarding the clipboard problem try Edit > Purge> Clipboard before you capture what you want.

CS5 Copy & Pasting issues in XP & 7

We have 2 computers, one running CS5 on XP & Windows 7, both are having issues pasting the previously copied image to a new psd file. We are running actions that allow us to correct an image, resize then paste it onto an overlay. Frequently it is pasting the image that was worked on last. I'm not sure if this is a clipboard issue or what. We were using CS without this problem. It seems to happen more on the Windows 7 computer. I've checked to make sure both computers are updated. Anyone one have any idea what is causing this?

Firefox Kubuntu copy/past issue

all firefox versions (4 & 5) I had been using with Kubuntu (from 10.04 to actual 11.04) had a persistent bug that doesn't allow to copy and paste directly from/to firefox...
When a website or a text is selected and copied (Ctrl + C or right button option) it copies to the clipboard, but when you try to paste it to another firefox session, opera or openoffice, didn't paste nothing... but it you paste it in a live messenger conversation and then copy it again, then it pastes without any issue. It's a really annoying behaviour.

Hello pif Paf,
To copy a picture you just hold your finger down on it so as to highlight it and then press copy. It the same for text (you highlight the text and press copy). As for pasting, you just go on to pages or wherever you wish to paste to.
