Excel connections failing after the move from XP to Win7 and from Excel 2007 to 2010

We recently upgraded to Win7 from XP, and from Office 2007 to 2010. Some of my packages that use CSV or Excel as sources are failing. Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, is there a quick fix?
I tried saving the excel source files to 2007 format, but that really doesn't seem to be an option since both 2007 and 2010 ostensibly use the same extension, viz., .xslx.
Thanks in advance for any assistance. I'd hate to have to rewrite some of these packages if there's an easy fix.

Hi!
After moving a mailbox between databases (EMC or EMS), there is a warning: Warning: Failed to clean up the source mailbox after the move. Erro details: MapiExceptionUnexpectedMailboxState: Unable to delete mailbox. (hr=0x80004005, ec=2634).
Users can successfully access mailboxes, but these mailboxes stay in disconected mailbox node on EMC, and it is shown on EMS afer command [PS] C:\> Get-MailboxDatabase | Get-MailboxStatistics | where {$_.DisconnectReason -ne $null} and their databases are
the old ones.
We have recently upgraded from SP2 to SP2 RU4, but we´re not sure when this problem started.
Our Environment:
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1
Windows Roles: File Services, Web Server (IIS)
Exchange Server 14.02.0318.001 (Build 247.5) Roles MBX, DAG with one more MBX identical Server
Antivirus: Forefront Endpoint Protection Version: 2.1.1116.0
Virtualization: Yes – Hyper-V
Applications: Backup Agent CA, SCCM Agent, SCOM Agent, HP Management Tools

I recently upgraded our Exchange 2010 servers (CAS/HUB and MBX) from SP1 to SP3 RU6 and now I'm encountering this issue when doing mailbox moves. I opened a support case with Microsoft and it appears that they are aware that SP 3 RU1 doesn't fix
the issue in all cases. Below is the response I received from the support engineer.

Based on my research and case experience, we have several customers report that even if they are running Exchange 2010 SP3 RU1 or later version(for example, one of customer is running Exchange 2010 SP3 RU4 and another is also in CU6 environment), they also
have such issue. When they move mailbox, it completed with warning message that source mailbox can’t be cleaned up after the mailbox move operation. This issue occurs because the Mailbox Replication service does not check a certain flag when you move the mailbox.
Additionally, a move process for a mailbox that fails takes 30 seconds by default. When a move process for a mailbox fails, the Mailbox Replication service tries five more times to move the mailbox. Therefore, there is a 2.5 minute delay for each mailbox move
process when you move many mailboxes at the same time.
Currently, the workaround is to remove the “SoftDeleted” mailboxes manually after move the mailbox using the command you shared to us.

Mailbox move completes but get "Failed to reset the target mailbox after the move" 481/481

moving a mailbox from exchange 2013 to exchange 2010: it completes but the process tries to reset the target mailbox as a final step about 481 times then gives permanent exception error:
Failed to reset the target mailbox after the move. Attempt 481/481. Error: SuitabilityDirectoryException
Target mailbox reset operation was not replicated. Error: TargetMailboxConnectionWasLostPermanentException

I have tried moving several different accounts, none of them admin accounts, all getting the same error. I am logged in as domain admin with full rights to exchange. The issue occurs when moving mailboxes from exchange 2013 to exchange 2010.

Please consider to configure Windows Firewall or disable it. Not only Windows Firewall but any security software.

Windows Firewall is enabled by default.
Make sure you are using SQL Server Native Client to create the ODBC DSN. Not all Windows versions have it, so you may need to download and install it.

How do I set the "When an OCSP server connection fails, treat the certificate as invalid" in Firefox for Android?

Due to the security concerns from Heartbleed and Steve Gibson's excellent coverage on certification revocation, I have set "When an OCSP server connection fails, treat the certificate as invalid" on my desktop Firefox and now want to do the same on Firefox for Android. I cannot find anything in the settings menu to allow this. Is it done through about:config and if so, what is the setting name there?

BI broadcast fails after server move

Last weekend my outsourcer moved my Portal and BI systems (portal is Java stack only, BI is ABAP stack only, they are separate systems) from their own, separate hosts into a shared larger server. This means that both BI and the portal now reside on a new hostname with a new IP address.
Because I always install and connect systems using aliases instead of physical system names, most of the previously working functionality survived the move intact. However, because there were DNS/hostfile issues during installation of the systems, some configuration did have physical hostnames used to reference the BI system.
After the move I cannot run the standard broadcast function for any report. A popup box appears ready to ask about the broadcast options I want to use but this eventually times out with an "internet connection error". If I right click on the popup and choose "properties" it shows me the URL being targetted and this contains the OLD hostname for the BI server.
I strongly suspect that there is a setting somewhere in Visual Administrator that I've missed but I can't find it.
Any ideas please?

Problem turned out to be in the portal's definition of the BW system. That had a physical host name instead of an alias because of issues with someone installing /etc/hosts in front of our DNS and breaking things!

DVD Menu only shows up after the movie?!?!

I'm new to IDVD!
I made a slideshow on Imovie and I hit share it to IDVD, i think pick a menu and hit burn. But when I play the movie in my DVD player, the movie starts right up and then it's not until after the movie is done playing that the DVD Menu comes up.
What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this!?!?

You have inadvertently created what is called an "autoplay" slideshow. That type operates exactly as you described.
You must have dragged you slideshow into the Project icon in Map View. To activate Map View, you click on the left-most of the three icons in the center below the iDVD window. The Project icon is the icon on the top in the Map View. . It states within that icon "Drag content here to automatically play ..."
So, you need to either drag your project from there down to the lower box, or re-do your project by dragging it into the main project area on the theme's main screen. Just do not move it into the Project icon in Map View.

Do you happen to use a USB modem or something like that? This could be the cause.
You could try creating a new network location to see if that fixes it (if not you can just reverse it)
1. Go to  Menu -> System Preferences
2. Then go to Network on the 3rd row
3. Make sure the padlock is unlocked (bottom left) with your admin password
4. Choose 'Automatic' next to 'Location' at the top.
5. Choose 'Edit Locations'
6. Then click the + button, and create a new one called home/test/somethingorother
7. Click Done -> Save and wait a few seconds
8. You may have to reconnect to your Wi Fi network etc.
If you have a USB modem, the above steps will most likely remove its config from the Network preferences. As I said, its reversable (just change location back to automatic)

There is precious little information concerning this warning dialog. If I am disconnected from any network; wifi, Bluetooth, Thunderbolt Ethernet, doesn't matter, I get this error in a pop-up dialog. Make sure it's connected to your computer and try reconnecting" Creating a new Location under System Preferences / Network does not solve the problem. 1. What is asking to be connected? 2. How do I stop this? Running Yosemite 10.10.2 on a MBP 13"

You don't require Mountain Lion - you need Lion which has been available for almost a year.
Unless you are running Mac OS X 10.7.2 or later (Lion) you won't be able to sync iCloud with your computer. The iClous system preferences pane does not exist in ealier versions.
The Mac system requirements are all clearly stated on the iCloud pages, and in the support articles.

G'day Mate,
As an avid flight simmer I bought a new soundcard my previous was
an audigy 2 platinum ex with an external module I really liked but somehow all of a sudden I was getting a screech when using FS9 sor I opted to change to the present. Well stone the crows my soundcard was auto updated with new drivers and well you guessed it the soundcard did not show in the sound video controllers window No I have just joined this forum and it looks like3 you may have the answer for me . I am now going to do as you suggest and see what happens.
I shall return with the outcome of my dilemma.

             -> Entering a Customer Return
" Entering a Customer Return
Since returns from the customer are usually examined, the quantity
returned is first posted to blocked stock returns. As is the case with
goods receipt blocked stock, blocked stock returns are neither valuated
nor do they count as unrestricted-use stock.
If an examination proves that the returned quantity should be taken over
into unrestricted-use stock, you enter the transfer to unrestricted-use
stock in a second step. It is at that time that the valuation of the
goods receipt occurs.
Depending on how Customizing for Sales is configured (the movement type
configured in the step Define Schedule Line Category), the delivery is
posted to the following stock:
- Blocked stock returns (non-valuated, not unrestricted-use) (movement
type 651)
- Unrestricted-use stock (movement type 653)
- Quality inspection stock (movement type 655)
- Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can
make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management
component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
If blocked stock returns are to be transferred into your company's own
stock, you enter the transfer as a transfer posting. Choose movement
type 453 (to unrestricted-use stock), 457 (to stock in quality
inspection stock), or 459 (to blocked stock). "
