Excel Interactive View (excel mashup) - Is it out of service?

I have an online report based on Excel Interactive View. The last week I noticed that it didn't work. I checked my code looking for bugs, but it is correct.
So, I tried to check the status of the Excel Interactive View in the official site "www.excelmashup.com" but when I clicked on the green button (with the text "Excel Interactive View") I saw the same error message:
"We're sorry. We're having trouble preparing the data right now"
I've been seen this error from 10/10/13, before that day, I remember the interactive view was working fine.
I repeated the test on Chrome v 29.0.1547.76, Mozilla Firefox
24.0 and IE 10.0.9200.16721 with the same results from that date.
To give you more details, if I click in the button "Excel Interactive View" at the site "www.excelmashup.com" using IE10 I see the next log on the browser's console:

In order to discard network issues when my browser request to the Office's Webservers (my local tests are made from Buenos Aires, Argentina), I repeated the experience in a server installed on the USA getting the same error.
I guess if the service "GenerateWorkbookFromHtml" is out of service in the Office's Webservers because it is throwing a http error 500.
Can anyone open the example without problems?

Import Word/Excel document option greyed out

For a class assignment I am instructed to import a Word document using Import -> Word Document. The problem is that the option to import Word & Excel documents is greyed out. Yes, I have the destination file open when I try to import the document. This does not change even if I create a new, blank HTML file and try to import the document into that file.
My system:
Dreamweaver CS5
Microsoft Office 10
Windows 7
64-bit processor
Could this be an incompatability with 64-bit system? That's the only thing that's out of the norm on my computer. Is there something that I can change to make this option work on my system?

Office 10 is the XP version of Microsoft Office, which was released in 2002. Office 2010 is actually Office 14.0.
Like you, I have Windows 7 64-bit. I also have Office 2010 installed.
I have just created a test document in Word 2010, and saved it on my desktop. I then opened Dreamweaver CS5, made sure the focus was in Design view, and then selected File > Import > Word Document. The file was correctly imported.
As I said before, it's important for the focus to be in Design view. The following screenshot shows an attempt to access Import > Word Document when the focus is out of Design view. The option is greyed out.
I then clicked inside Design view to ensure the focus was in the correct place. As the following screenshot shows, the options for Word and Excel are no longer greyed out.
Importing Word documents in Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 64-bit definitely works with Word 2010. If it's not working on your system, there's a problem with your installation. It's not a bug in Dreamweaver or lack of support for Office 2010.

M…oSoft products aren't allowed on my machines but I use LibreOffice which is a clone of Office.
When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

Problem refreshing reports with params in the Interactive viewer from ASP

I have a problem getting reports to refresh by clicking the Interactive Viewer's refresh button and reusing the supplied parameters. I am seeing this exact same problem on both V9.2 and 11.5 unmanaged RAS servers.
I am using the following function code to set the reports parameters:

If I set viewer.EnableParameterPrompt = false then I get an erro upon clicking the viewer's refresh button (error is: Missing parameter values. webReporting.dll error '8004100e' ), but if I set viewer.EnableParameterPrompt = true, then I get the automatically generated prompts appear but they are all empty. Either way, RAS doesn't remember the supplied parameters. I know the parameters are being read by RAS as the report's contents prove this fact, but they are not remembered after refreshing. If the automatically generated prompts are filled in and submitted, subsequent refreshes work correctly.
How do I get the report viewer to reuse the parameters that have been set programmatically after a refresh? BTW, changing my implementation to anything other than using ASP against an unmanaged RAS server is not an option at this time.

Excel ( VB ) to ABAP RFC WEB SERVICE Call - No Errors - Blank Output Table

Trying to get Excel talk to ABAP RFC Web Service.
- Excel - 2007 ( Since it is Excel 2007, I didn't had to add any Office Web Services Toolkit or any add on )
- ECC 6.0
Excel (VB) not throwing any error, but is not giving any output ( expecting a table output ).
ABAP RFC WebService with Uid Pwd Authentication.
Activated binding for ABAP RFC via SOAMANAGER for clnt 600.
Using WSDL of WS of Clnt 600 in Excel via VB
Basic ABAP RFC -
1 optional import param ( Input Param )
1 table output ( Tables Param )
Basic VB Call Code -
Call projHoursWS.wsm_YProjHours("", arProjHours)
To test if VB and WebService are talking to each other, when i temperorarily change the Authentication method ( uid/pwd ) of Webservice in Sicf it throws "NO MATCHING AUTH" .. So VB and ABAP WS are talking to each other.
Debugged VB in Excel, not throwing any error , but is always returning the output table (arProjHours) Empty.
Missing anything?

Try turning on the ICF Recorder in TCode SICF (check SAP Help for usage details) to establish that the request is reaching SAP successfuly.
You'll also be able to catch the response that's being generated by SAP this way. Then turn off the ICF recorder.

In BI 4.0, We don’t have the option of Interactive mode, the only modes for viewing WebI documents are as follows:
1) Web: it is similar to the Interactive mode in XI 3.1. It means that you will use the HTML interface in BI launch pad to create, edit and analyze documents.
2) Rich Internet Application: This is similar to the Java Report Panel in XI 3.1.
You are using the Java interface in BI launch pad to create, edit and analyze documents .
But this requires the download of a Java applet.
3) Desktop (Windows only): in this case you are using Web Intelligence Desktop to create and edit documents, a standalone interface that works outside the BI launch pad. But this requires an install on your local machine.
4) PDF: Same as in BO XI 3.1
All view modes except PDF, have "Reading" and "Design" mode.
When you view a WebI document, the default mode is "Reading".
When you modify a WebI document, the default mode is "Design".
The user should use the modify option or view > Design, if he wants to modify a report.

Repeating section : Interactive viewer issue

I have created a repeating section based on a column in the layout editor. When viewing the data in Interactive viewer it is showing the column values as list of parameters. But viewing the same in PDF format, it is showing the repeating section fine.
Can anyone let me know what the issue mught be ?

In this 2010 form?
First of all, lists do not support repeating section or repeating tables. You can use these only in case of InfoPath form library.
If this is what you are using then, click on your Infopath form view, click on Repeating section from the Controls. Once added, click inside the repeating section and then select the text box or drop down field, which ever you want to fill using repeating
section.
Same applies to repeating tables as well, just gives you a tabular way to fill in the data.

FCE un synching vid/aud between Viewer and Canvas 3 secs out in 20 sec clip

I'm new to FCE having moved across from Vegas Video.
Working through the Izzy FCE Tutorial.
Starts with a 20 second HD clip that works great in the Viewer.
Drag video to time line and it looks OK except the audio is waaaaay out of wack. In a 20 second clip FCE is 3 seconds out of synch by the end of the clip.
I must have done something freaky here but I have searched and searched but cannot find an option to un synch audio/video.
Also other weird stuff.
If I have 6 clips in the browser, drag each one to the Viewer, set the In and Out drag the first one to the timeline and subsequent ones to the the Canvas/Overwrite.
Only the first clip will show until I start playing the first clip in the timeline then all the others then suddenly pop up.
Also, Edit/Undo has an accelerator of CMD Z, nope that doesn't do anything.
If I set the edit point in the timeline mid clip, then drag a new clip from the Viewer to the Canvas and select insert, it inserts the video at the edit point but puts the audio somewhere completely different. The Audio timeline shows the audio in the right place but when you play it is randomly placed earlier in the timeline.
This is all very strange indeed and leaves a noob to FCE well and truly confused.
I'll try another reboot. But this puppy is looking like it may be going back to the Apple shop.

Sounds like you don't have the timeline set to fit to window Shift-Z.

After launch Interactive viewer,while trying to reorder columns ie selected one column,and applying got NumberFormatException in FireFox16 like java.lang.Number

IMO,this is causing because of HTML5 . needs to be disable may be helpful.....

Suppress/Hide Prompts - OpenDocument - Interactive Viewer

Is anyone aware of a method for hiding/disabling/suppressing prompts for input data in the interactive viewer? We have a custom application that launches a WebI report through OpenDocument, and the application has applied rules to the nature of the prompt values. Once OpenDocument has launched the viewer, the desired behavior is for the user to specify prompt values through the application, not through the viewer. The users are internal as compared to external, so there isn't a big issue with preventing hacks to the URL to override the prompt values. I see other admin settings for other capabilities in the left panel, but not for the user input prompts.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the stopping the prompt dialog from appearing when you refreshed the report.
If you are talking interactive viewing mode this it is possible to hide/show toolbars using user security. I don't think it is possible to hide just the User Prompt Input tab.
You can alos restrict the user to HTML viewer.

Launch Interactive Viewer Webi Reports - JSP

We are trying to build a Report Dashboard which shows the reports similar to how you see in the InfoView. We have achieved most of the functionality. We have an issue where we want to open the Interactive Viewer for any Webi Reports so that the users can modify the reports... Essentially when we open these Webi Reports in InfoView, we are seeing the option to Edit, but we do not see the same option in our App... Does anybody know a way to launch the Webi Reports in the Interactive Viewer?Thanks, Rajiv

[1] Is this a security issue?Â The user account logging into your report viewer application - is this the same user account that you logged into InfoView with?Â The Settings for WEBI in the CMC may be different for these users - hence you see different report viewer options.
[2] Are you using openDocument.jsp in your report viewer application?

B Channel out of service

Hi,
I am getting B Channel OOS in my event viewer for a gateway in CCM.
Whats the reason for this. How can i rectify this. Can call get disconnected due to this. Please suggest.....

I am also seeing this issue with CCM 4.1(3)sr1, Windows 2000.2.7sr2. Intermittently there are multiple "Error: BChannelOOS - B channel out of service." (and D channel out of service) errors in Event Viewer for different MGCP gateways (remote and local, 3845 and 3725's). I am going to check the CCM/SDL traces the next time this happens, but if you have any other suggestions or information I would appreciated it.

When iPhone is on Cellular data and WiFi, i cannot make calls and phone goes out of service.

So I have this iPhone 5S unlocked version from the US which I am using in India. When I am connected to my office wireless and also the cellular & 3G data are switched on, my phone goes out of service and I cannot make calls. I can also use internet.
However this works great when I get onto my home WiFi along with cellular & 3G data switched on, I can make calls and also surf the net with the WiFi.
Is anyone having similar issue? I am sure there is something with the office WiFi but what could it be to get my phone out of service.
Any thoughts anybody ?

Yes I shutdown WiFi and I can connect to 3G on Cellular. I can make calls.
If I shutdown Cellular and connect WiFi. I can make calls.
Its just that when both are ON, then no calls can be made.
All combinations work good with Home WiFi.
