Why oh why do I sometimes get this error when defining my Excel Source and then sometimes I do not?
Am I doing something wrong here???

Error at Data Flow Task [[Excel Source[27]]: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005.

I know the Worksheet "EFT" exists because I defined this previously for the same Excel spreadsheet.

Becuase when you are designing this pacakge in BIDS, you need to manaually create a excel sheet manually for the first time you run,
are you creating excel sheet using execute sql task and excel connection with input from a variable?
Did you receive this error in validation phase or execution phase ?

Have any of the underlying tables changed? Data types, lengths, maybe even column ordering, etc...?

Why is Mail asking me for the name of an smtp server for an email address that doesn't exist?
I've migrated from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion on a new Mac, but in trying to use Mail on ML, it keeps asking me for the name of an smtp server for an email address that's never existed. The addy has my user name correct, but the server part of the address doesn't exist, or at least I've never used an email address with that provider. On ML there's no plist file for Mail, so nothing to delete there. What else can I do to get Mail working? The only other option I have is to abandon Mail as being crippled and useless, and use Postbox, which for it's price (US$9.95) is an attractive option. OTOH, I've paid for Mail after all, so it really ought to work. Any clues as to what I can do to stop its nonsensical behaviour? How do I file a bug report?

We have created a custom package where in we are trying to call the standard API's of Oracle projects i.e PA_PROJECT_PUB.When we are trying to call these APIs we are facing the below issue.
We have tried testing in two instances ,Initially it worked in both instances.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

While using the dynamic path in a multiple languages enabled site, language Id(1033 etc) will be added to the path automatically. That cause the file to be not found.
To solve the issue, please download the Arabic language pack http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3411 ,
install it on your SharePoint and refresh your browser.

"recover database until cancel" asks for archive log file that do not exist

Oracle Release : Oracle 10.2.0.2.0
Last week we performed, a restore and then an Oracle recovery using the recover database until cancel command. (we didn't use backup control files) .It worked fine and we able to restart the SAP instances. However, I still have questions about Oracle behaviour using this command.
First we restored, an online backup.
We tried to restart the database, but got ORA-01113,ORA-01110 errors :
sr3usr.data1 needed media recovery.
Then we performed the recovery :
According Oracel documentation, "recover database until cancel recovery" proceeds by prompting you with the suggested filenames of archived redo log files.
The probleme is it prompts for archive log file that do not exist.
As you can see below, it asked for SMAarch1_10420_610186861.dbf that has never been created. Therefore, I cancelled manually the recovery, and restarted the database. We never got the message "media recovery complete"

Let me answer your query.

Your question: While performing the recovery, is it possible to locate which online redolog is needed, and then to apply the changes in these logs
1. When you have current controlfile and need complete data (no data loss),
then do not go for until cancel recovery.
2. Oracle will apply all the redologs (including current redolog) while recovery
process is on.
3. During the recovery you need to have all the redologs which are listed in the view V$RECOVERY_LOG and all the unarchived and current redolog. By querying V$RECOVERY_LOG you can find out about the redologs required.
4. If the required sequence is not there in the archive destination, and if recovery process asks for that sequence you can query V$LOG to see whether requested sequence is part of the online redologs. If yes you can mention the path of the online redolog to complete the recovery.

I recently performed an across-the-board rename in my LightSwitch application and development database. (No worries, always backups.) I know that directly editing the .lsml files (Client.lsml, Common.lsml, Server.lsml) isn't supported - you must be careful.
That said I've been able to use find and replace within these files with great success for simple refactoring ... until now.
I renamed "WcsNum" on my Job entity to "JobNum".
I have a data grid whose entities include a relationship to "Job" and display a couple of Job's properties, all very typical. Now whenever I open the screen with the data grid and it's populated with one or more entities that have a reference to a
job, I receive this:
The property 'WcsNum' does not exist on type 'LightSwitchApplication.Implementation.Job'. Make sure to only use property names that are defined by the type.
The spooky thing is, the text WcsNum no longer exists anywhere in my entire project. I've used Agent Ransack to search my entire project directory including the main LightSwitch project, my WCF RIA Services project, and any related files.
I've even exported my database schema (and data) to scripts and searched those for it -- nothing.
I've tried "Clean Solution", as well as manually deleting every obj, bin, and GeneratedArtifacts directory in both projects. There are no remaining occurrences of this reference, I don't know where it's getting it from.
I also tried deleting the settings from %UserProfile%\Documents\Microsoft\LightSwitch\Settings, which I regularly clear anyway to discard manual column sizes.
As I'm typing this I'm searching the contents of every file on my entire computer for "WcsNum", in case there's some other local cache that needs cleared. Feasible with a solid state drive.
If I can't find it this way, it must be stored differently, or within a binary format that Agent Ransack doesn't recognize as ANSI/Unicode.For the first question, in Solution Explorer, you'll find a folder under the LightSwitch project called "Data Sources". But here's the bit you might be missing. You have to switch to back to
Logical View, if for some reason you've switched to File View. You won't see the data sources if you're in
File View. And seeing as you've got Luminous Tools installed, if you have made the toolbar visible, then you have a button to do it all for you "Show Data Sources". Then you simply right-click the data source that is your RIA
Service, then select Update Data Source. I hope that makes it a bit clearer for you?
As for not seeing a Rebuild Project command, you might be looking in the actual LightSwitch menu. What I've done is only put commands in there that directly relate to LightSwitch. Any others will appear in one of two groups in the context menu underneath
the LightSwitch menu. Rebuild Solution, Rebuild Project, & Cancel Build, should all be together. If you still can't find it, let me know. Any images of what you're seeing on the screen would be very helpful for me to know what to advise you.

I am fairly new to vb.net and have read a few books and followed a few tutorials on youtube, what I would like to know is, are there any disadvantages
to the way I have connected to a SQL database using the SQLControl.vb. A lot of the vb books include data adapter and dataset within the form, I'm not sure if I'm following best practice by have the connection details outside of the form.
My other question is, I have created two connections in the SQLControl and call these connections within the same form using the same data adapter

1) You are not using Sepration of concerns for a solution that is doing data access, like using a DAL.

@System243trd, parameters are important to prevent SQL injection attacks (people will insert SQL commands into the database if you do not perform basic checking of what you are passing to the database). If you write a stored procedure try to make
the variables the correct SQL server data type to avoid problems later of people trying to call it directly. Darnold924 is right, I see no code to prevent against SQL injection attacks. In addition, during development in some instances LocalSQLDB
database system is used and during deployment you usually need to use the production SQL server database. Moreover, Linq-to-SQL is used on Windows Phone 8.1 and it is required for phone development later and so I highly recommend learning
it if you plan on developing windows phone applications.
@System243trd, If you want the code for the windows phone app I think it uses the MVVM model or that might be for universal apps or regular windows phone apps. I have been using the windows phone Silverlight pivot or panorama template (it might

Screen save is looking for a network drive that no longer exists
I am on OS X 10.10.3 (though this issue started with 10.10.2)
When I go to Desktop and ScreenSave preferences I get a message stating 'There was a problem connecting to the server "familyserver"'. This isn't a surprise since that machine is no longer on the network (it was a Windows home server). If I click OK the dialog reappears in a couple of seconds.
In the screen saver preview it says "loading photos.." and for the source it states: "Loading..."
However I can't change the source - the only option in the drop down is "loading"
Anyone know how to fix this so I can change the source to a local drive?

turn my phone to send Verizon wireless and those instead of the stuff found. I'm not in charge $600 for the for the phone. I'll talk to multiple customer service reps and nothing has really been done about anything other then we'll keep looking or so for stretching it out. since September I've been dealing with thison a month-to-month basis they cut my services they reinstate me and tell me that they're going to knock off the reconnection charge as I have four lines. Unfortunately my main reason for this phone is my work emails which I need to do because I do work and to contact my mother who is 85 years old and I'm the sole caregiver. I don't know what else to do. I have spoken to a supervisor by the name of William or Will oats in that he said he was going to look into it and was going to help me out. Never heard from him again- just original email to quiet me down. I've been sending him emails just about every day trying to make sure that I get my message across. Seems like Verizon Wireless really doesn't care about the long-term customers. Looking forward to hearing from someone that can help me with my plight.process is faulty for returns. You don't accept them in the stores because as one customer service rep stated you can't get your own employees to send the devices back. Now the responsibilities is on the customer the paying customer the one that keeps you alive. And it's not fair that I there's no way I can prove that I put it in the mailbox. So what are my next stepswhat is it that I need to do to clear up this charge of $600. It's about economy as $600 to me at this very point it's a lot of money. In August 2014, my son went to Target to get a new cell phone and was told his Unlimited Data would still be on his plan (he shared a line on his grandfathers account). Well it turned out that Target messed it up and my son immediately called Verizon to get it taken care of but they were not able to do anything about the lost unlimited data but the customer service rep did try to find the best offer for him. In the mean time Verizon was suppose to send him a new cell phone, they never sent it and he was without a phone so he took his business to another cell provider. Verizon DID charge him for the new service that they had spoke about. So when the new bill (Sept) came, the service he never used was on the bill and when we called to inquire about it we spoke to a Judy and told us we would be receiving a credit of the amount that was paid. Well, we got the next months bill (Oct) and still no credit, so called them again and spoke to a Nadine ** . She looked into the account and saw the amount that was paid and said she would submit it again for a credit and she would get back to me in 2 days, no call back.
The next bill (Nov) came and no credit again, call again but didn't get the girls name and she put me on hold to look over the previous conversations. She said she sees in the records about the credit and said it takes a while to get it thru the supervisor authorization and she would put it in as a "rush priority". On Dec. 5th my dad's cell was turned off, so I call yet again to Verizon, and explain the whole story to them again. This girl explained to me that the request was not put in correctly and that she would submit it right this time, they even turned the cell back on for him.
So here we are today, Dec. 30, 2014, I get the bill...NO CREDIT, call up and get a gentleman in billing, explain this whole thing again and he transferred me over to customer service where I spoke to a Jordan and yet again told him the story. By this time I was fuming, 3 almost 4 months of calling for this credit and he looks into the account and tells me there is nothing that states there is a credit so all the other customer service reps see it but now it is gone. He said he can only issue me a $25 credit to the bill, not even close to what the bill was that I paid. At this point I wanted to speak to a Supervisor and even that was a problem.
He did call me back after my phone died. He put me on hold again to speak to a supervisor himself and said that he can only offer me $100 credit for all my troubles for the past few months. I took the $100 credit because Jordan said if I spoke to the supervisor, the $100 credit might not be an offer anymore so it was either take it or leave it. Now where I stand, they get away with NOT giving the credit due to customers. I am done with Verizon.
today being March 12, 2015, he FINALLY got the said $100 credit...but because of their delay, he service was shut off and I refuse to pay the reconnection fee due to their neglect of a customer of over ten years. My father's service will NO longer be with a place that has NO VALUE in customer service....Verizon robs their customers anyway they can.
