Can anyone give me a hint what to do?
Thank you very much!

Yes, I worked with my web host yesterday to try to figure it out.
Just because Transmit works that doesn't mean that I should have to settle with using it. I like using the built-in functionality in iWeb.
The odd thing is that one works and the other doesn't. Hence my question.

I have several layers for my image: Background, Moon, Tree, Grass and Clouds.  When I try to use the Move tool to move the Moon, the tool jumps to the Tree layer.  The same thing happens with the other layers as well (except the background layer).  How can I keep the move tool from jumpimg to the Tree layer?

    1. Pre-select (highlight) the layer to move in the Layers panel.  or-
    2. [ALT+Right mouse click]  to select the wanted layer in the image window.
    and maybe
    3. Set the PS option to "Auto-select" a layer with cursor hover.  (can be very confusing!)

    Hi,
are you using the Bounced Mails Framework to manage you mails? If so, one possible explanation is that BMF blocks untrusted messages.
To configure BMF options, go to the Administration workset and edit the list of trusted addresses in BMF.

Please see the attachement. I have included both seeded and extended files (start with UPenn).
Like I said before ...I am able to run the page locally. But, when I try to run the page from application after importing the extension it is failing.
This is a very critical issue at work for me. Unfortunately Oracle support doesn't care as this is an extension.
Please note that I am able to run other extensions. I am having problems with extensions only in this page.
    Thanks,
    Naren.

  • Java number format exception for BI Publisher query

I have a data model thats working using one rtf template. Then I created a cross tab query rtf template and when the same data model is executed with the same parameter value, it errors out.
here is my simple rtf template that I defined:
         for: ITEM_KEY end -->1
    for: ITEM_KEY-->2 for: ITEM_KEY end end --> 3
For better understanding, 1 is defined as columns of my cross tab, 2 as rows of my cross tab and 3 is the data. I am using version 10.1.3.4ver BIP
Any help regarding the error is appreciated..
    Thanks in advance

    any help will be appreciated...
    thanks in advance
    berry

    Hi Gregor,
The Messages i am getting i.e. "Session 1: Special character for 'empty field' is /" is one of the GUI information messages that the standard SAP uplaod program is popping.
i want to suppress these messages when calling them through an external system so that they can be called in background.
The standard program is using the batch input method.
    Thanks and Regards
    Berry

  • External Variable Null Pointer Exception when I publish two projects

I have the following external variables exception thrown when I publish two projects alongside each other. These projects share the majority of there 50 odd project variables. (I know that this is a bit excessive but the customer wants to be able to search under this many variables). I have checked and found that there are not any differences in the variables across the two projects.
This exception is brought up when the second of the projects is published, no matter which way around they are published. In two incidences, out of about 30, I have managed to deploy this code without this problem occuring.
I am using ALBPM Studio Version: 6.0.5 Build: #97234 and ALBPM Enterprise Version: 6.0.5 Build: #97234. I am deploying these to a Sun Solaris 10 environment with an Oracle 10G database.
I would be very grateful for some assistance with this problem.

    Hi Simon,
If I were you, I would try installing the latest hotfix. There were some important fixes (such as #8715504) related to variable mappings.
May be it is a good idea to undeploy that project and deploy it again once the HF is installed.
    Hope this helps,
    Ariel
PS: Remember to regenerate and reinstall all the EARs once the HF is installed.

When i tried to debug the error, its thrown when i call publish() on the WebcamPublisher.
I went to the room console and enabled private messaging for default camera and audio streams and also private messaging for a/v streams in the manage tab of the room console.
Please advise me in this regard.
    Thank you.

    Dear Hiromany,
Thank you for the prompt and helpful suggestions.
I tried to delete the customUserField as per your instructions but there were only two custom fields defined and i dint find any camera user field.
The two fields are UserStatuses & Buddy Notifications.
In the EXPLORE tab of the ROOM CONSOLE application from SDK, there is default_webcam collection node and two nodes under it. (one for layout and the other for aspect ration or something)
I deleted them and tried things again but to no use. I tried creating a new application and then a new room but nothing worked. I guess something got corrupted in my account.
Then i used my colleagues developer account and created a room on his account.
When i connected to his room everything worked as expected.
Seems like a template issue to me.
But my knowledge with using and manipulating templates is limited.
How can i manage the templates associated with my account?
    Thank you

  • Screen is blank except for background

My Imac was giving me disk errors which I was able to fix with the Disk Utility on the install CD.
But when I log into the system under my username, all I get is the background and a little magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner. If I try to click on that I get the never ending spinning color wheel.
I can log into the system with any other user just fine. All the files saved under my documents are fine because I can access them through the network.
Is there any way to restore my desktop?

Well All i can think of is go on a differnt account and try deleting your account then reseting it you can have it compresed into a dmg if you need to save your files

  • Mozilla Firefox is not starting on my computer, even though I've opened it, there is nothing on the screen except my background. Do I need to re-install?

When I open Firefox, sometimes it doesn't show up on my screen and I have to re-boot to get it show. But I've re-booted my computer '''5''' times and it hasn't show the browser or anything. The hourglass that shows that it's thinking doesn't even do anything, like it's already up, but it's not. Do I need to re-install? Or is it that Firefox isn't working today?

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • FTP problem with FreeBSD 8 and ProFTP version 1.3.2c

My web host just updated my server to FreeBSD 8. The FTP functionality in iWeb stopped working after the update. It appears to be a permission problem, but Transmit works flawlessly.
Any ideas as to why iWeb and my server aren't playing nice?
    Thanks!

Yes, I worked with my web host yesterday to try to figure it out.
Just because Transmit works that doesn't mean that I should have to settle with using it. I like using the built-in functionality in iWeb.
The odd thing is that one works and the other doesn't. Hence my question.

  • Background image displays locally in HTML5 template but not when published

I have used an excellent HTML5 template which uses JavaScript to display background images. However while this file works locally it doesn't when published. The site structure is sound and I notice this happens with the source files I downloaded also so it's nothing I have done in my build which could have caused this.
This is the link to my site, everything is fine except the background image not showing.

Any ideas, as I say fine locally, not fine when published?

    Hi Kyle,
I realise you posted your question a couple of days ago but it looks like your background image issue may now be fixed?
In any case, your site has a few issues. Not sure who told you the template was HTML 5 but they might be yanking your chain. There is nothing HTML 5 about the code used and the DOCTYPE is from HTML 4. As such, some of the code you have used is throwing up errors - some related to the DOCTYPE and some where you haven't closed the tags:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.khawkinsdesign.com%2F&charset=%28detect +automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
    <ul id="footer-nav">
    <li><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="portfolio.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> /*The closing tag is missing in your code */
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> /*The closing tag is missing in your code */
    </ul>
It would be best to amend the errors but some might disappear when you add the HTML 5 DOCTYPE in to your code. Things like your lack of "type" on the sources is a required v4 attribute, but not in v5.
    <!DOCTYPE html>
Have a read through this for more info - this is a great resource for everything HTML 5. http://diveintohtml5.info/

EDIT:// It seems that the DOCTYPE is the 5 version on all but the home page so you may only have one to correct. However, there are still no HTML 5 elements used to take advantage of the new DOCTYPE.

  • Why am I getting an FTP Error code when I try to publish my Website?

Every time I go to publish my website from iWeb to my Yahoo domain, it completes everything EXCEPT the background part. I end up getting an FTP Server Error Code. I have called Yahoo about the issue and they were not able to help. I have checked my file names for spaces. I have checked my FTP address. I have checked just about everything, this is becoming quite aggravating! Please, someone help?

Unfortunately, Yahoo is notorious for being less than good at hosting with iWeb sites.
Perhaps look into changing your web hosting to somewhere like http://www.godaddy.com or http://www.hostexcellence.com.

  • Camera publishing frame rate - slow

    Hello,
We're creating a video chat app which will work across desktop, iOS and Android.
Everything is working fine except that the published stream suffers from a low frame rate - averaging around 7fps.
This is really annoying especially as the camera is capturing at approx 30fps.
We're using a beefy server running Wowza or AMS but the issue seems to be on the publishing side in the Air app.
Has anyone else experienced this or any one know of optimum settings to get that frame rate higher?
It seems like it might be a bug with Air to be honest as I wouldn't have thought publishing would put that much strain on the CPU to reduce the frame rate that much.
    Thanks,
    Dave.

    Hi Chris,
Sure, we used Scout and it showed the CPU was maxing out over 100%.
When the app wasn't publishing over the NetStream then CPU usage was around 30%. Which in itself seems high when there wasn't anything else going on and no other apps in the background.
This demo app we're using just displays the camera feed using a video object and then publish that feed directly to the streaming server. We've stripped out all other functionality while we address these video issues.
I can ask my guys to provide more detail regarding the Scout reports on Monday morning. But, until then what kind of CPU usage would you expect this process to consume? We're exporting video using the H.264 profile.
Doesn't the native camera utilise H.264 video and so other than encoding the audio to Speex I wouldn't have thought there's too much encoding/transcoding occurring? Just seems odd...
Any advice or ideas much appreciated!
Along these same lines...is there a reason why Air doesn't export/publish the video stream as H.264 and AAC since iOS already provides those? Is it a codec licensing issue? Just curious since Speex really isn't the best quality especially when we're going to be using this in a context where we'll be streaming live music events/gigs.
    Thanks,
    Dave.
