Error while starting the managed server
Hi,
While starting the managed server i get ClassNotFoundException for the following files.
oracle.as.jmx.framework.wls.spi.StartupListener - jmxframework.jar
oracle.security.jps.wls.JpsWlsStartupClass - jps-wls.jar
oracle.security.audit.ajl.loader.JEEAuditLoader
oracle.dms.wls.DMSStartup - dms.jar
oracle.core.ojdl.weblogic.ODLConfiguration - odl2.jar
oracle.ias.cache.Startup -
oracle.mds.lcm.weblogic.WLLifecycleListener
oracle.dms.wls.DMSServletFilter
When checked I found jars related to above classes in BEAHOME/jdeveloper/modules folder.
are the jars also present some where in weblogic related folders.
Also "wsil-wls" and "dms" applications are not properly deployed in the ManagedServer.
When I am trying to deploy another application in managed server i get DMSServletFilter ClassNotFoundException.
I tried to add the above jars from jdeveloper folder to the POST_CLASSPATH in setDomainEnv.sh but i still get the same ClassNotFOundException while deploying.
Which config file should i update?
Thank You.I think you've changed and added some lines into your startWebLogic.sh script. Can you put your script here?

Problem occured while starting the Manged server of weblogic9.2
Hi all,
I am cnfiguring the OWSM on 2 machine which are in Clustering mode(Pre-Prod Env)
I have done the installation of SOA SUITE10.1.3.1 for the same.
After installation , i started Admin server.
But i am facing issue while starting the managed server of weblogic9.2 through admin Server Console.(which are clustered). The managed Server state goes to ADMIN and raise the error that failed to start the server. It does not go into RUNNING state.
The error i was recieved is :

please help me for the same ASAP.
its urgent.
Regards
GauravThat is an INFO message you received and would not stop a managed server from starting. To get rid of that INFO message, enable tunneling on the admin server.
Check your node manager log file to see why the managed server is not starting. -
Hi,
I installed weblogic 12.1.2.0.0 with RHEL5.6. After the installation, I tried to post the following class path in setDomainEnv.sh file under the domain home directory,
POST_CLASSPATH="/prosun/jasper/jasperreports-3.6.0.jar:/prosun/jasper/commons-digester-1.7.jar:/prosun/jasper/log4j-1.2.15.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.beanutils_1.6.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.collections_3.1.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.logging_1.0.4.jar:/prosun/jasper/iText-2.1.0.jar:/prosun/jasper/groovy-all-1.5.5.jar"
While i am trying to start the Admin server, the server didn't started and following exception is reported in nohup.out file. Please help me to resolve this issue.
The above library jars are required for our applications.

Regards,
Anand Krishnanhi, you should not do nothing with user root.
please, don't use root again for weblogic administration.
list all files with root permissions:
move to Middleware Home, example: cd /u01/app/oracle/Middleware
find . -user root
if there are files with root permissions, change it to oracle:oinstall
I saw this:
Could not load Logmanager "oracle.core.ojdl.logging.ODLLogManager"
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.core.ojdl.logging.ODLLogManager
Please check in DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh file if exist this:

export JAVA_OPTIONS
MWCONFIG_CLASSPATH=${FMWCONFIG_CLASSPATH}${CLASSPATHSEP}${COMMON_COMPONENTS_HOME}/modules/oracle.odl_11.1.1/ojdl.jar
export FMWCONFIG_CLASSPATH
if exist, replace for:
JAVA_OPTIONS="${JAVA_OPTIONS}"
export JAVA_OPTIONS
if not existe, its necesary for you to use /prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.logging_1.0.4.jar in your classpath?. If it isn't necesary delete it, and restart the AdminServer. -

Error while starting the workbench server.
I am trying to get familiar with endeca product. While working with endeca information discovery everything seems to be working fine according to their documentations.
but when I am doing endeca guided search , there seems to be some problems.Currently I have installed the following items -
1)Endeca Server-
2)Platform services.
3)MDEX
4)Workbench
5)Deployment template.
While starting the workbench by running the following command-
endeca/Workbench/2.1.2/server/bin/
./startup.sh
in log it is showing -
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Failed to start database '/endeca/Workbench/workspace/state/webstudiostore', see the next exception for details.
at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory.getSQLException(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory40.wrapArgsForTransportAcrossDRDA(Unknown Source)
However the server is starting but having the exceptions.. The other issue is - I am not able to see any page by hitting the url -
http//<workbech server>:8006/
it should give me the login page where the default userid and password would be - admin/admin.
I have performed the installation procedure according to endeca installation guide...
Has anyone faced the issue before or any idea /pointers will be highly appreciated...
Regards,
HoqueHi - can you provide the link to the documentation you're referring to for installation steps? For the Endeca Commerce product family (Guided Search is the base product), you don't need the 1)Endeca Server- that you mention in your list. For Endeca Commerce, the MDEX Engine is the equivalent to what you used the Endeca Server for in Information Discovery. So I don't think that should have showed up in the install steps.
Also, if you are just starting out to learn the product, I strongly recommend starting with the newest 3.1 release - you should find it easier to get started with. The documentation for that release is found here : http://tinyurl.com/cjyggls
I recommend starting with the Getting Started Guide in the common documentation set: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35823_01/index.html -

this command needs url for the admin server so that it can connect to that admin server and add this managed server to that domain.

Error while starting the content server
Hi,
I have installed UCM and when i start the content server, it says it was succesful but logs show the below error.
Unable to publish the schema. Published schema directory could not be swapped into its proper location. [ Details ]
An error has occurred. The stack trace below shows more information.
!csSchemaUnableToPublish!csSchemaFailedToMovePublishedFilesIntoPlace
intradoc.common.ServiceException: !csSchemaFailedToMovePublishedFilesIntoPlace
at intradoc.server.schema.StandardSchemaPublisher.doPublishing(StandardSchemaPublisher.java:349)
at intradoc.server.schema.StandardSchemaPublisherThread.run(StandardSchemaPublisherThread.java:252)
ANy idea wats going on.
I have done the required changes in the confd of the webserver, Content server is accessible from the webpage. I am also able to login as sysadmin.
Not sure wats going wrong.
ThanksYou can sometimes get issues on the file system with file locking occurring and so UCM can not clear up/move the schema files properly.
It may not be this but...There should me a metalink note about this deleting schema directories.
