Exchange 2007 calendar

Hi,
I integrated OWA with SSO into the portal. When I try to open the calendar in the preview (URL: https://<Server>/owa/<user>/?cmd=contents&module=calendar), everything works fine, but in the portal I get the full Outlook Web Access. I also tried to give cmd=contents&module=calendar as application parameters, but I still have the full OWA in the Portal.
Do you have any solutions on this?
Best regards,
Niklas

Hi Cem,
Sry, wrong links, here are the correct ones:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/0/4/904e92c6-abb9-4ab1-84f7-b0769cb2648a/CB%20SSO%20to%20Exchange%20Server%202007%20Cluster%20v2%200.pdf
I used both of them for the configuration of SSO via Kerberos.
Best regards,

  • Possible to sync Exchange 2007 calendar (accessible in iCal) to MobileMe?

I can access my company Exchange 2007 calendar from iCal on my Mac.
But when I log into MobileMe, I can't see this calendar.
Is there anyway my Mac can publish/copy/make-available my Exchange 2007 calendar to my MobileMe account?

Could you please link to that solution you found?

  • ICal bug: cannot copy/paste into location field of exchange 2007 calendar

when you copy text from any application (cmd C) and then try to paste it into de location field of a new or existing appointment of a calendar synchronizing with an exchange 2007 account in iCal 4.0, then .... well nothing happens. You can paste it in a subject or a notes field but not in de location field.

My experience as well (hooked into google calendar), and a frustrating one. I assume this is related in some way to the "yellow exclamation point in edit mode - can only select entire block"? I see that normal "on my mac" calendar locations don't have the yellow exclamation point, and I can select any portion of the text. What's up with this? Is iCal suggesting that google's "Where" field is incompatible somehow? Yet there seems to be no trouble exchanging data between the two...

  • ICAL: Subscribe to other users Exchange 2007 calendars

    Hi all,
I didn't see a category for iCal in the list for 10.6, so I hope this is a good place to put this post.
Is there any way to subscribe, from iCal, to other Exchange 2007 users' calendars?
    Thank you!

After a bit more research, it turns out that this feature from Entourage or Outlook is NOT supported in Exchange support for Snow Leopard. Too bad.

  • Sync other users shared exchange 2007 calendar

I have user A in my exchange 2007 environment who has thier Iphone conected and everything with regards to their own account (email, calendar, etc...) sync's without issue, however user B shared a calendar with user A and they cannot see it on their iphone. I tried using CalDev with user B's credentials but it did not work. Is this possible?

Update to question in terms of testing:
    - Not iPad specific
    - Windows 2003 clients affected
    - Not user profile related, were able to repeat the issue for another pair of users using a common scenario on Office 2003
    a. Invitation sent and accepted in Outlook – OK
    b. Invitation sent and accepted by delegate in Outlook – OK
    c. Invitation sent and accepted on the iPad – Not OK, transposes Organiser with iPad Owner in Outlook (OK on the iPad though!)
    - Next test is with Office 2007 on the users' client PC.

  • ICal Exchange 2007 Calendar Availability

When adding a new event to my Exchange 2007 account through iCal in Snow Leopard, the availabile meeting times show all weekday calendars as busy (shaded gray with diagonal stripes) My calendar shows this as well, but not on weekends. If I pick "Next Available Time" it will come up with an availability on a weekend.
I have access to others calendars as a delegate and know that both myself other invitees are free.
Scheduling a location works just fine for a conference room. But again, it shows all 'people' calendars as unavailable including my own.
Does anyone else have something similar? Am I missing a setting?
I set the Exchange account up though Auto-discovery. I have tried setting up the account additionally using the server we specify through Outlook, and also using the server I spec when connecting through my iPhone. Our company has hosted Exchange, and each of these options yields a different server, but connects with the same result.
    Thank you

I have a similar issue and it's really bothering me now and I have had to go back to Entourage.
We use Exchange 2007 at work and I have get the administrators check my exchange profile and there is nothing wrong in the setting - both Outlook (on Windows) and Entourage behave well, but iCal shows me as busy (or unavailable on Sunday and Monday).
This is a problem when I try and book meetings with people on Monday as my calendar is busy, it shows other as unavailable as well. However when others invite me on Mondays they can see my free slots, so the problem isn't Exchange.
Also, if I book meetings through Entourage - its all good.
I have tried reinstalling iCal from the SL disk but that didn't help either.

  • Outlook 2010/Exchange 2007 Calendar Will Not Display

    Hi Folks,
I've been working on an issue for the past 3 weeks and would love some assistance.
    Here's the problem:
A user indicated that she was using Outlook normally, flipping between the Mail and Calendar tab. When she went back to the Calendar tab, the navigation pane switched to the Calendar tab, but the main pane and ribbon were still showing Mail content.
The only way for her to display her Calendar properly is to right-click on Calendar and select "Open in New Window" - but even then if she goes to the Mail tab, she cannot go back to her Calendar again.
Please note we are running on Exchange version 8.3.327.1
Here are the fixes I've attempted:
    New OST file
    New Mail profile
    Ran outlook.exe with the following switches:  /safe /cleanrules /cleanview /resetfolders /resetnavpane
Please note: resetnavpane breaks the OST file and requires me to create a new OST file for the user
Open Mailbox on a different computer - that same issue occurs
Open Mailbox in webmail - the calendar is displayed properly
    Odds n Ends: Hitting CTRL + 6, Hitting F5.
I've run out of ideas and would appreciate any ideas to resolve this problem
    Thanks!
    Derek

    Hi Derek,
It should not be an Exchange issue. Based on my research, there is no feature in Exchange server can configure the Outlook reading pane or navigation pane performance. Since there is only one user encounter this issue and OWA can work well, please check
the following points to narrow down the issue:
    1. Please configure your Outlook account in your colleague’s domain-joined computer with your colleague’s domain account to check whether the issue is caused by your Roaming Profile.
    2. Configure Outlook account outside the domain by using Outlook Anywhere to check whether the issue is caused by any policy in your domain.

  • Mountain Lion iCal Exchange Shared Calendars

From the delegates tab inside the accounts preferences, I get no access to a calendar that I am sure I have access to.
is this a problem with shared Exchange 2007 calendars or a problem with iCal?

As a follow up to this -
I have completely re-installed ML.  I have deleted all pstrings, and I have removed all caches.
I created a new user account on my laptop and calendars opened fine, so it seems to be a problem with updating calendar information.
How can I remove old calendar information?  I keep all of my informaiton on the cloud, so I do not need anything that it keeps locally at this time.  I can start from scratch.
Any thoughts?  I know this string has been viewed several times - but no recommendations yet.  Any help is appreciated.

  • Exchange 2007,  Contacts and Calendar OK , Email only folder structure

Hi, as i was reading many different topics I found that many of them had mixed answers between Exchange 2003, Exchange 2003 and 2007. Because of this mess, i wanted to focus ONLY on *EXCHANGE 2007*. That´s been said...
I have configured my iPhone with the user/pass/domain/address/SSL-ON, the iPhone connects to exchange and syncronize correctly Contacts and Calendar but not the Email. Email just shows folder structure.
After this first failed attempt I installed the certificate (Unsigned according to iphone and contains "Root Certificate")... No Improvement
I contacted my IT department , they said that Activesync was supposedly ON in my user profile and that SSL was mandatory. They also said that they cannot start testing thoroughly because it would disroupt other users. They also argue that many users are using activesync service with no problem what-so-ever. However they incouraged me to keep looking for an answer.
I couldnt find an apple guide to configuration for Exchange 2007, the enterprise deployment guide is just to vague.

I don't think there will be a solution to this. Exchange 2003 just isn't supported.

  • IPad calendar syncs with Exchange 2007, except for meetings attachments

Calendar app in iPad 3.2.2 and iPhone 4.1 both sync fine with corporate Exchange 2007 server, except that meeting attachments do not show. These meeting attachments do show in OS X 10.6.5/iCal 4.0.4
A work-around on iPad/iPhone is to access Outlook Web Access (OWA) on Exchange 2007 via Safari to access calendar, in which case attachments do show.
However Calendar app in iPad/iPhone gives no indication which meetings might have attachments, so it's not easy to know when one must use OWA to download meeting attachments.
Can anyone else confirm meeting attachments not showing up in iPad/iPhone? Or is this a config problem on our corporate Exchange 2007 server?

Could this have anything to do with it??

  • Q10 + Exchange 2007 SP3 - random calendar entries not synching

    Hi,
We have an executive user with a BB Q10 with software v10.1.0.314.
The devices connects via WiFi or 3G to our Exchange 2007 SP3 server and mail/contacts/etc all appear to be flowing normally.
However, the user has reported that some calendar appointment/meeting entries are not showing on their handset.  There doesn't appear to be a pattern as to which entries don't show.
I've confirmed that the entries are available on the Exchange 2007 server in the users calendar, however they will not sync to the handset.
If I create a new appointment or meeting request, they sync both ways, whether created on the handset or via Outlook/OWA on the Exchange server.
Any thoughts on why these random appointments/meetings aren't synching?
Are there any logs I could check for errors?  The obvious Exchange/Windows ones don't seem to indicate any issues.

Hi robert_petbam and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Are the missing appointments more than 30 days old? The BlackBerry Q10 will only show the last 30 days worth of calendar appointments.
    Thanks.

  • Access shared calendars on exchange 2007

I'm trying to access shared Exchange calendars on my iphone and I cant see how to do this. Does anyone know how to do this?  If i require a 3rd party app to do this, can anyone recomend one please?
I can see the shared calendars on outlook 2010 and I would expect to see them in the calendar list on my iphone.
    Thanks

Thanks, russcus, you've brought me one step closer to figuring out how to use Snow Leopard and Exchange 2007 together. As we're on the topic here, I need to take a moment to voice why Apple's implementation is very disappointing.
Of your 3 suggestions, #1 should just be working out of the box. iCal should be able to see these calendars- Entourage can. As long as others in the organization have Calendar: Properties: Permissions: "default" set to "reviewer", they've granted read privileges to everyone else in the organization. Pulling up a view of another's calendar is as simple as "Open Other User's Folder", enter email address, verify, use. It's a rare and sad day when I wish Apple's software just worked as well as Microsoft's.
While #2 and #3 will work (I verified only #3), it's far more effort on the calendar owner's part. Everyone who might need calendar privileges must be managed separately, vs the wholesale organization-wide granting Entourage can do. This is a unneeded overhead that causes complication whenever staff changes.
Additionally, the scheduling assistant is less useful than in Entourage. In iCal, the availability of others is boiled down to only free or busy. In Entourage, a mouseover of an event in the Scheduling view provides event title and location data (as long as the event isn't flagged as private). My staff won't like loosing the ability to answer the question "exactly what is user X busy with at this time?" if we were to move to iCal.
If I'm misunderstanding something, please let me know. I'd prefer to not be right on these observations, as they're going to be problems in leaving Entourage for the Apple native suite of apps.
Regarding public folders- they are on Microsoft's list of discontinued features:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998911.aspx
I'm just speculating, but I doubt Apple put development efforts into supporting a feature that's on the way out.

    Hi,
Is Exchange account the default account in Outlook?
Does this issue occur on all users? (If no, please try to recreate problematic user’s profile to check this issue)
    Please check the following setting:
    Open AD users and computers.
Right-click on problematic user to properties.
Under General tab, check if the E-mail field is right.

  • Can't sync Work exchange 2007 email, calendar and contacts on my Mac

I am new to Mac. I've been trying to set up my work email, calendar and contacts (Exchange 2007) on my new personal Mac without much success. I have all contacts, calendars and mail syncronized on my Iphone, but when trying to sync calendars via Itunes with Mac ICal, all it does is add ICal entries onto my Iphone (and then they appear twice on iphone and work calendar)
Haven't figured out how to import contacts into email either, although I had some success in setting the account up as a pop account in Mail (we use OWA otherwise for web access)- but can't send, just receive.
Please help - where can I find some stept by step guidance / tutorials on how to do this? I don't want to subscribe to MobileMe or install any windows or Microsoft software on my Mac. Many thanks in advance.

I could very well be wrong, but here's what I did.
At my work we got an Exchange 2007 server and I got an account on it, so I set up my iPhone, but I didn't sync it to the calendars on my desktop Mac, instead I went into Mac Mail, Preferences, Accounts, then added an Exchange account inserting all the same account information that I had put into the iPhone. Then my iCal, Mail, Address Book all synced over the air. I do not have MobileMe, but I'm not sure what my work has on their Exchange server.
