Exchange 2013 cannot deliver mails

Hello,
We purchased and installed an Exchange server 2013 and a domain name ''alaa.com''. Just before purchasing the domain name, we installed exchange, we kept almost everything in default setting and we added an MX INTERNAL Send Connector. We were able to send and
receive internal mails. However, when we purchased the domain name and configured the MX record to point to mail.alaa.com the following happened:
1/ we can send external mails
2/ internal mails leave the Drafts folder but never delivered (sent but not received).
3/ Cannot receive mails sent from the internet. However we receive an email from [email protected] that says this:
http://txt.do/138s
and sometimes this:
http://txt.do/138a
Please, this is urgent, We would really appreciate your help.

Hi,
I cannot see reverse DNS record for "sst.com.tn".
You must create reverse DNS record for delivery to external mail address.
Also, I cant open link http://txt.do/138s and http://txt.do/138a

  • Exchange 2013 not delivering mails to Exchange 2010

I am upgrading exchange 2010 to exchange 2013 and currently in coexistence.  I cutover the mx to deliver mail to 2013 cas VIP last night and no mail was being received by the 2010 mailboxes, it was all being queued on the 2013 mailbox servers (mailbox
and cas servers are separate in this deployment.) There are only a few 2013 mailboxes as I have not yet started migrating them.  These 2013 internal mailboxes can not send to exchange 2010 either, but 2010 can send to 2013. 2013 to 2013 mail works
fine. I have read somewhere about an issue with a receive connector having the same ip range that includes the mailbox servers, but I'm not clear on really which mailbox servers it is alluding to.
All the exchange 2010 servers are all on the 10.1.1.* network.  Exchange 2013 CAS servers are all on the 10.1.1.* network and the 3 exchange mailbox servers are on 10.1.1.*, 10.1.2.* and 10.30.5.*.  Only 1 AD site.  On one of the 2010 receive
connectors there is a scope of 10.1.1.0/24  I'm wondering if this is the culprit and by removing it should fix the problem.  Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Exchange 2013 users are unable to send emails to exchange 2010 users then check your connectors on Exchange 2013 Mailbox server. and yes if you have overlapping of scopes in different connectors then this can happen.
Kindly mark this as answer if found helpful. Thanks.

  • Exchange 2013 - Cannot sent mail warning to user (Quota)

    Hi all,
I have an enviroment with Exchange Server 2013 SP 1 (Version 15.0 (Build 847.32)). (DAG)
My problem is that my users not recieve mail of notification (warning).
I did a lot search, but i didnt found any solution.
I already moved a mailbox to another database, but the user received mail once.
    Any idea?
I see in forum MS that it can be a problem of Exchange.
    Marco

    Hi Marco,
From your description, I recommend you use the following cmdlets to verify the quota status of mailbox.
If you want to verify the status of individual mailbox quota, use the following cmdlet:
    Get-MailboxStatistics DisplayName | ft *quota*,*size -AutoSize –Wrap
If you want to verify the status of the mailbox quota for all the mailboxes that are hosted on a database, use the cmdlet below:
Get-MailboxStatistics -Database DatabaseName | ft displayname,*quota*,*size -AutoSize –Wrap
Hope this can be helpful to you.

  • Cannot uninstall Exchange 2013 - Cannot get ecp page too.

I am trying to install Exchange 2013 and we already have Exchange 2007 in our production environment.

    Get-ecpvirtualdirectory gives no output.
If I try to uninstall I get the following error.

    Hi,
I suggest re-install CAS role for test whether it works.
If not, please uninstall the MBX role as what you want. I suggest make a full backup if there is any data in the Exchange server, then remove the mailbox database.
Found an article for your reference:
    Cannot remove mailbox database
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.setupreadiness.unwillingtoremovemailboxdatabase(v=exchg.150).aspx
After uninstall the Exchange server, I suggest double check whether there is anything leave in AD via ADSIEdit tool. Then re-install Exchange server.

  • Exchange 2013 - Cannot remove DataBase due to Arbitration Mailboxes

    Dear Experts,
I'm running MS Exchange 2013 on Server 2012 R2.  I am cleaning/merging databases and have ran into a problem due to the arbitration mailboxes.  I am unable to delete a database because of the arbitration mailboxes.
First, I identified all the mailboxes in the DB I wanted to move (DB01)
    Get-Mailbox -Database "DB01" -Arbitration
I did the below to move the arbitration and user mailboxes to a different DB
    Get-Mailbox -Database "DB01" | New-MoveRequest -TargetDatabase "DB02"
    Get-Mailbox -Database "DB01" - Arbitration | New-MoveRequest -TargetDatabase "DB02"
The move was successful, but I was unable to delete DB01 because of an error related to the arbitration mailboxes when I attempted to delete it.
After researching this problem I used
    Get-Mailbox -Arbitration | Set-Mailbox -Arbitration -Database "DB02"
I have verified the active arbitration mailboxes are on DB02 by using
Get-Mailbox -Arbitration | Ft Name, Database
Currently DB01 is dismounted and from what I can tell not doing anything except eating up a license.  Arbitration mailboxes still reside on DB01, but they are not active.  If anyone has any experience on how I can force the deletion of this database
or remove the arbitration mailboxes for good it would make my boss and I so happy.  Thanks to everyone in advance.

  • Outlook 2013 / Exchange 2013 : Shared mailboxes - Mail stuck in outbox (non-cached), Mail sends but doesn't get received (cached).

    Hello,
We are currently experiencing some weird behaviour in Outlook 2013 since we added Shared Mailboxes.
When we run Outlook 2013 with cached mode
    enabled:
    - I create a new e-mail and send it.
    - The e-mail goes to the outbox, and get's 'send'.
    - None of the recipients receives the e-mail.
When we run Outlook 2013 with cached mode
    disabled:
    - I create a new e-mail and send it.
    - The e-mail goes to the outbox, but remains there.
Now to make things even more bizarre:
When I switch from 'cached'-mode to 'non cached'-mode, I see all the e-mail that were 'send' in cached-mode stuck in the outbox.
Note: The DNS server configuration in Exchange is correct.

    Hi,
How about sending on OWA? Does the issue exist?
To troubleshoot the issue, let's run Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if 3rd-party add-ins are related:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem sending emails in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.
Please also disable the firewall and anti-virus program to send the emails again, in many scenarios the protection may cause the issue.
Please also keep Exchange and Outlook patched to the latest.

  • Exchange connector "Cannot send mail"

"An error occurred while delivering this message"
Great. Any way for me to find out what that error was?
I'm in a bit of a quandary, because I'm trying to set this up for my exchange server and it all seems to go OK (server configuration accepted etc) and then when I open the mail app it shows that the inbox was 'last updated DATE TIME' as if it is updating but there is nothing in the inbox and none of the other folders appear. When I try to send a message I get the error above. The strange thing is that I set it up to connect to a clients serve which is configured exactly the same as my system here, exchange server, router etc, and I get connected and email comes and goes with no problem.
Any ideas on what might be wrong or how to find out any diagnostic info, again like what the error actually is? Thanks!
    Mick

    Hi Mick,
I have the exact smae problem as you described. Did you find a solution yet.
Today I tested it with a first generation iphone, the exact problem with my account. So it has to do something with my credentials on the exchange server.
Hope you can help me out, in case you solved it. Meantime'I continue searching.

  • [Exchange 2013] Cannot find Template User object error

    Hello,
I've faced with really strange issue. When I try to execute cmdlet Get-Recipient for user from @hotmail.com, @outlook.com and @live.com domains I get error "Cannot find Template User", even SilentlyContinue is used.
Let me show an example. Open PowerShell and load exchange snapin:
    [PS] C:/>Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.Exchange.Management.Powershell.E2010
[PS] C:/>$existingContact = Get-Recipient [email protected] -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
    Cannot find Template User object.

It works well for others domains (e.g. gmail.com), besides it works well for Exchange 2010. And finally it works well in Exchange Management shell.
What does the error mean? Why Get-Recipient doesn't work only for Microsoft's domains?
    Thanks in advance!

I have seen a lot of weird errors and sometimes incomplete results when manually adding the Exchange Snappin into powershell. Exchange 2010+ is setup for remote powershell, so if your on the server then use the exchange shell which will do all the remoting
for you, or you can setup the remote session your self.

  • Establish mail flow from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013

I am currently using Exchange 2007 into three sites in three cities and two of the sites are connected to Internet sending and receiving emails via Edge transport servers.
Now I am planning to upgrade to exchange 2013 CU1. I don't find any documentation on how to establish mail flow between Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2013. Will it be automatic or do i need to create specific connectors between them?

Was this question answered.  We're in the same situation now as we're upgrading to Exchange 2013 from 2007. The latest CU certainly helped.   Initially the test mailboxes on Exchange 2013 couldn't email each other - This was resolved with CU7 and
using "Custom Settings" - manually entered IPs for DNS in the Exchange  Admin Center "DNS Lookups".
Issue at the moment Test mailboxes on Exchange 2013 cannot email mailboxes on 2007 or visa-versa and mail from external sources queues on the 2007 box.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
From your description, the Exchange 2013 server can't receive emails internally and externally. I recommend you follow the steps below for troubleshooting:
    1. Please restart the Microsoft Exchange Frontend Transport service on CAS and the Microsoft Exchange Transport service on Mailbox and check the result.
    2. Please make sure that the authentication on default receive connector is right. Here is the configuration in my environment for your reference:
    Hope it helps.
