Exchange 5.5 portles not working

Environment: Portal 3.0.9/W2K -> IIS/W2K -> Exchange 5.5/NT
I have followed the Exchange 5.5 Portlets installation instructions and troubleshooting guide completely but the portlets still do not work. I only see the "Update Login Information" link in place of the portlet -- even after I have entered Exchange credentials numerous times.
At stage 5 of the installation when trying to log in from the externial application it did not show an inbox. It brought up another login page that was generated by the servlet and had none of the default values. Providing the same information to this page has no effect. In stage 5 it says I should see "part of an inbox"
I have checked all the logs and see nothing unusual.
I am out of ideas on what to do next.

I found that if you follow the instructions and dont put in an entry for the mailbox value then it doesnt get passed along. I put in a value for every parameter and make them visible when creating the external app. This seems to allow the passing of the params and the inbox launches. Still doesnt fix the portlets but thats another issue.
Also add the debuglevel=1 parameter to the initargs line in zone.properties, then check <server:port>/servlet/<servletalias> - should show available portlets

Exchange 2003 push notifications not working on iPhone4 running iOS 5

My Exchange 2003 push notifications are not working on my iPhone4 (iOS5). For this account I need to fetch. I know that at one point I was receiving push notifications from the Exchange 2003 account prior to upgrading to iOS 5 but unfortunately I did not actively monitor push notifications for this accout prior to upgrading to iOS 5. Push notifications work fine for other email accounts on this phone including an Exchange 2007 account. Are there any issues specific to iOS 5 and Exchange 2003 with regard to push notifications?

The 'fix' that is decribed in the first post does not work. The only workaround is if you are on Wi-Fi, turn off Cellular Data and then reset the push service by turning on Airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it back off. Seems to be an issue with the iOS talking to the new LTE CDMA chip on Verizon and Sprint iPhone 5s.

Exchange calendar syncing suddenly not working on 2nd gen IPOD touch

Calendar syncing on IPOD touch 2nd generation no longer works with Microsoft Exchange server. Mail syncing works fine.

A full restore is probably not going to solve your ongoing WiFi issues - which are causing your YouTube problems. Best bet is to do two things with your router:
1. Pull the plug, wait a minute or two, plug it back in. (power cycling)
2. If that works, you are done. If not, go to the router manufacturer's website and download and install the latest firmware for your router.
If you are still having problems, reset your iPod network settings - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When your iPod restarts, log back into your network by this route:
1. Tap Settings > WiFi > Other
2. Enter your network name
3. Enter your security mode
4. Enter your password

Content Exchange -- Package Upload function not work.

I try to upload a zip file from my computer into the repository by using package upload function in portal. The file size export by ice is 1.09 GB is not work it has error The page cannot be displayed but small file size is work. How can i do?

same problem here while trying to transport a large KM package (28GB à 2GB volumes) from EP 7.0 to EP 7.31 SP6. The package upload iView in my target system EP 7.31 crashs with "This page cannot be displayed". I cant find any appropriate exceptions in NWA.
I guess ICE transport isnt an option at all for transporting KM content from 7.0 to 7.31 (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3249426), but i tryed it also, without any success, same behaviour. As i stringent need all metadata (ACL's for example), WebDAV is probably also not reasonable, as far i know you cant transport KM metadata with this method.
Unfortunately Detlev`s link dont works, so i cant get any clues from there. I also tryed to split one KMC archive in volumes à 100MB, but it dont works, because the following volumes are not uploaded and i cant see any KM packages at all.
So, i know i can create smaller KM packages manually, but regarding the data amount its extremly time-consuming. I cant imagine our colleagues from SAP AG are regarding the case of a KM import of large files as realistic, but dont give us a working option to import them. Does anybody have any idea how to handle this issue? Thank you in advance,

Apple Mail and Exchange Out of Office Not Working

Has anyone had issues with Yosemite Mail and setting Out of Office for Exchange 2010?
I can set Mail to send Out of Office replies but cannot change the scheduled dates from 2/12/1982, 10:00 AM. Even when I do set it, it does not seem to send the OOO notifications. I can set it just fine on my iPhone 6 and Mavericks Mail worked fine for setting the OOO.
I deleted my account several times and reset it and I can get all my Mail back just fine but OOO still doesn't work correctly. I wanted to try to change the server settings but Mail doesn't allow you to do that for auto connect Exchange accounts.
Because of this (and my concern with reported issues with updating meetings), I switched back to Outlook 2011 until these bugs get ironed out. This is too bad because I love the notifications feature for Apple's programs.
I'm running on a 2014 13" MacBook Pro.

Exchange 2007 in iCal not working. - Invalid Email address

I did the exchange setup - Email works.
Addess book - Contacts are there but the Global Address book does not produce anything.
iCal - all the setting are correct but it won't connect to the calendar. The error:
Invalid Email address. It is the correct address and works in the other areas.
Any ideas????

This issue could be with corruption in Autodiscover and web services virtual directory
Replace Web.config file for Autodiscover and web services virtual directory from the other working site
Delete and Recreate Autodiscover and web services virtual directory
Do this only on the affected site

Exchange 2010 IIS Redirect not working

Hi, this is our first time posting. Our http to https redirects in IIS seem to not want to work. Our setup before this happened consisted of the default website redirecting to "https://webmail.lsgnet.com/owa". This worked perfectly until the
installation of our new certificate. We have tried both the standard http redirect option under default website as well as a rule in the URL rewrite module. neither seem to want to work for redirecting to https. The HTTP redirect seems to *want* to work as
when its enabled, it successfully points "https://webmail.lsgnet.com" to https://webmail.lsgnet.com/owa". however it will not do the same for http (worked previously this way with old cert.) We attempted to disable the http redirect and instead
use the URL rewrite module following the instructions here: http://www.jppinto.com/2010/03/automatically-redirect-http-requests-to-https-on-iis7-using-url-rewrite-2-0/ but that doesn't work period. Bindings have been removed and re-added multiple times. Any
help would be greatly appreciated as we have scoured google and cannot find any solutions to this nor reasons why. Thanks much.

From your description, I recommend you verify the following thing for troubleshooting:
Open IIS Manager, click Default Web Site -> OWA -> SSL Settings, please make sure "Require SSL" option is unchecked.

Exchange Outlook Anywhere does not work!

Im having issues to get the Outlook Anywhere to work.
Running Exchange 2010 SP2 with RU1 (two HT/CAS/MBX servers) + TMG + HL.
I have a Geotrust SAN certificate (autodiscover.company.com, mail.company.com, mapi.company.local, legacy.company.com + fqdn of the servers)
CASArray = mapi.comany.local = HL
Outlook Anywhere is configured: mail.company.com / basic auth
All DNS records that are included in the certificate are pointed towards TMG.
TMG should be configured accordingly aswell as our HL. (have asked our guys to verify this several times...but you never know)
from testexchangeconnectivity.com I have various results.
If running RPC/HTTP test with manual specifications it fails...
RPC proxy server: mail.company.com
Exchange Server: mail.company.com or mapi.company.local
msstd: mail.company.com
but...
If running the RPC/HTTP test with Exchange server specified as FQDN like SRV01.company.local it works?

RPC ports is set under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\RpcProxy, se a bunch of 6001, 6002 and 6004 that corresponds to my mapi.company.local, netbios names and more...
these ports are only beeing used on the exchange server itself? they are capsuled in a 443 package passing through TMG and HL right?
I can telnet via the HL on port 6001, result:

So please change the registry key and reboot the server to take effert. And then try again to see if this works.

We have this working for ok Outlook 2003 SP3 in combination with Exchange Server 2003 SP2. Now for mailboxes that are moved to our new Exchange 2010 environment the hotfix stopped working. The sent items get stuck in the outbox of the delegate instead
of moving to the user in whose name the mail was sent. It does not matter if the user mailbox is on 2003 or 2010 as long as the delegated user is on Exchange 2010 SP1 it fails. We use Outlook 2003 SP3 in online mode. Does anyone know how to fix this
or maybe someone knows an alternative way to move the mails to the sent items with Exchange2010 SP1.

Please try to use get-adpermission to verify if the user has "send as" right.

Exchange 2010 CAS Proxy not working

The internet facing CAS server has internal and external url as
https://mail.domain.com/owa
The non internet facing CAS server has internal url
https://servername.domain.com/owa, with windows integrated authenticaion set. No external url set.
When I try to use OWA to access a user's mailbox that is active on a mailbox server in the non internet AD site using
https://mail.domain.com/owa , I get the following error:
The mailbox you're trying to access isn't available
No Client Access server or front-end server with a matching version was found to handle the request.
Exception message: The CAS server is most likely not configured for SSL (it returned a 403)
However, All Exchange servers are running the same version.
If I try to access the user's mailbox using
https://servername.domain.com/owa it works fine

Check the event viewer application logs.
I have seen the same issue and the resolution is given in the event logs.
I think you might have to change the SSL settings on the non-internet facing CAS or there is some regisrty settings.

Scheduled Task for Exchange Management Shell is not working

I am using a command in exchange management shell to get some information of mailbox users.
When I run it form the exchange management shell it works fine without any issues. However when I schedule it using the Task Scheduler it doesn't work and the Last Run Result output is 0X1.
The General settings are Run Whether user is logged on or not and Run with Highest Privileges.
Please note that I have not saved the command. I have directly added it in the Add arguments field.

OIM 11g r2 Exchange connector provisioning is not working

I have created one user in oim and i have provisioned this user into AD successfully.
after that i have tried provision same user into Exchange but the user provisioning status is shows "*waiting*" and provision date also shows wrong.
Please any body help me on this issue..

Exchange goes to waiting status when AD is not listed in user's resource profile as Provisioned. Check whether AD is properly provisioned. It is better to always create a new process task before 'Create User' in Exchange resource object which checks whether AD is already provisioned for the user. Then this problem can be avoided.
Also when there are multiple AD resource object instances in user's resource profile and even one of that instance is in Provisioning status, Exchange goes to waiting status

Exchange Active Sync is not working

I have been reading a few dozen of these post that people are having issues with there iphone sync with exchange. I am TOO!.
For some i can get into owa and from the iphone safaria.
The iphone was able verfy the ssl certificate, but nothing is syncing with mail server
My network infrastructure.
1. Clustered mail server . Running exchange server 2003.
2. firewall- port 443 has been verified to be open and able to acces owa from iphone safari
3. I have NO isa setup in my network.
4. Called SSL verisign company and everything checked out to be fine.
5. virtual folders have been verified to be correct.
6. checked dns report no errors.
7. AD exchange feature mobile services and protcols was verfied to all on.
8. turned off wifi
9. checked all creditals.
And it just won't push anything. I have come to the conclusion that is either IIS or Iphone is using a multiply protocol ports to access the exchange. But i don't know i need HELP
Simple troubleshooting steps to start with:
1. Check your version of Exchange. Must be at least 2003 w/SP2.
2. Check your security certificate. If you go to your "https://webmail.yourdomain.com/owa" or "https://webmail.yourdomain.com/exchange" and receive a certificate error, you may want to look into an external certificate from a recognized CA. I used SBS through my registrar.
3. Check to ensure your "Front-End" and "Back-End" server are not both requiring SSL. That will cause issues with OMA.
