Win7-64 installed icloud 2.0. Iphone 4, iPad new (iOS 6)
I put the photos in the folder uploads, they appear on your computer in the my photostream, but do not appear on ios devices.
Climbed into the iPhone file manager and found an interesting picture. Photos taken on iOS go to one folder photostream and displayed on all devices and PCs, but throw in uploads pictures in Windows also went on iOS devices, but for some reason in a completely different location. And in the photostream on iPhones and aypade not appear, although present. I wonder what this folder is and whether it is in others?
Reset iphone now tried, does not help.

Come on, surely no one can see one or two folders on the iphone?

  • Sync calendar entries not appearing in outlook 2010

    Hi there,
I'd be grateful for any help on this one as I'm just bout pulling my hair out.
Basically, when I sync calendars on my iPad 3 using iTunes, the entries do not appear anywhere in Outlook 2010 which is my default mail/calendar client.
    My setup is as follows:
I have iCloud enabled on my iPad, but for some reason I have some of my calendar entries on the iCloud calendar and some on the calendar on the iPad itself.  I thought the easiest way to sort everything out would be to get the entries stored on the iPad onto my PC, then I could easily copy them into iCloud using Outlook.
Within Outlook I have a number of calendars under the main Calendar folder shown in the navigation pane.  Some of these calendars are also on the iPad.
As I had multiple calendars with the same name 'Calendar', I thought it would make things easier if I renamed the calendars on the device.  In this case, I renamed the calendar which has the entries I want on my PC to Calendar1.  When I sync with iTunes and select Calendar1 to be synced, this does not appear in Outlook.  Even if I create an empty Calendar1 in Outlook, the entries are still not being copied over.
I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit, iTunes 11 and iOS 6.12.  I have changed the backup option in iTunes to use my computer instead of iCloud.  This made no difference.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Hussein.

    Hi there,
As a follow up to the previous post I disabled iCloud and opted to keep all items on my iPad thinking that I'd rather have too much data than too litt.e  I then did an iTunes sync which replicated a lot of data in Outlook, but the renamed calendar still isn't being synced over or the entries that have been added to it.  I put in a test entry on the iPad and it's going into the renamed calendar1 but not showing up in Outlook.
Any further tips.  I've tried installing OpenSSL as advised on another Apple support KB article but this has no effect.
Thanks for any advice on this.
All the best for now and take care.
    Hussein.

  • Calendar appointments not appearing on Passport device

I have a BB Passport device connected to Exchange online using active sync. Appointment invites are accepted by the user on the device and appear in the calendar within OWA.
However, not all appointments appear in the calendar on the BB passport calendar.
An appointment may not appear in the calendar, but if a reminder is set for the appointment this will open and advise the user and a search of the calendar alos finds the appointment, it just doesn't appear in the devices calendar.
I have gone through the support process with the exchange online team who have suggested that it is a device issue.
Are any of you experiencing this issue? Can anyone suggest a way of fixing this?
    thanks,

  • Declined calendar event still appears on iOS devices

If i remove certain days of a repeating event from Calendar (Mac OSX)...say for example a daily meeting...the event is deleted from those days in Calendar, however they still appear in my calendar on iOS.  The details now show that I have declined the meeting for those days, but it should really be removed from my calendar.  I can't find a setting anywhere that makes this possible.

    Upon further poking around --
In iCal on MacOS, under the "View" menu, there is an option to show or to hide declined events.  So I-- and I guess you and I think many people-- choose sensible to hide declined events.  (*Why do I want to fill my calendar with things I am not doing?)
But iOS does not offer this option; and iOS seems to default to "show declined events".  And for this reason, our iOS devices do not show the same content as our desktop devices.  And this makes it feel, from a user point of view, like it is broken -- because functionally, it is broken.
(*Note that this seems to be a fairly old issue: in addition to the links above, there are also posts on this topic going back to users of mobileme -- and none of the threads have any comment from Apple, which is disappointing as attention to usability is generally the distinguishing feature of their products...)

  • Items from Exchange calendar do not appear in print

    Hi,
I've subscribed to an Outlook calendar which lives on an Exchange server. Within iCal (Calendar) this calendar appears in the Exchange group and its items display fine. However, when I print next week's schedule, the Exchange items are not included in the printed page. Furthermore, in the printing dialog, the Exchange group is visible but the calendar is not (and yes, I toggled the visibility switch).
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Klaus

This seems to be fixed in 10.8.3

  • Calendar entries not appearing

OK so historic and recent entries I've made on Calendar on my Mac exist only in the search bar of Calendar - meaning if I search for something I know I've entered it comes up in the search bar as an abbreviated entry there, if  I click on it it gives the date of the entry, if I go to that date though there's no corresponding entry, I think this is a problem affecting a ton of my entries/events now and is hugely frustrating.
It may also be connected with the phenomenon I've noticed of the Calendar not accepting entries, - I click on the date in question, type one and hit return and it does not appear on the calendar, sometimes this happens repeatedly.
    Thanks

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data.
Before taking each of these steps, quit (force quit if necessary) the application. After taking the step, relaunch and test. When the problem is resolved (or when you complete Step 3 without resolving it), stop and close the Library folder.
    Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. From the folder that opens, move these subfolders (some may not exist) to the Trash, leaving the Library folder open:
    Caches/com.apple.CalendarAgent
    Caches/com.apple.iCal
    Calendars/Calendar Cache
    Saved Application State/com.apple.iCal.savedState
    Step 2
Move these files from the Library folder to the Desktop (again, some may not exist):
    Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.iCal.helper.*.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.Alarm.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.AlarmScheduler.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.helper.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.iCalExternalSync.plist
    Preferences/iCalExternalSync.plist
Here "*" stands for a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes. If the application now works, you may be able to put back some of the files you moved in this step, relaunching and testing after each one. Eventually you may find the one that caused the problem; delete it. Recreate your settings as necessary.
If the application still doesn't work, put back each of the files you moved in this step, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. You don't have to put back the folders you moved in Step 1.
    Step 3
Move this folder to the Desktop:
    Calendars
Note: you're not moving the Calendars application; you're moving a folder named "Calendars". If there's no change, put the folder back where it was.
If the application works after you move the Calendars folder, the event database is corrupt. You have these choices:
Restore the folder from a Time Machine snapshot or other backup that predates the corruption.
Use a third-party application such as Calendar Cleaner to try to repair the database.
For network calendar accounts, such as iCloud, all you should need to do is re-enter them in the preferences.
For subscribed calendars, you only need to re-subscribe.

  • HT204406 itunes match playlists from imac not appearing on ios devices

I've finally gotten my entire iTunes library onto iTunes Match.  (Be patient folks, it only took 4 weeks for my entire library to load!)
However, the Playlists that I've created on my iMac are not appearing on any of my IOS devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.).
Can anybody help me with what needs to be done on my iPhone and iPad to import my iTunes playlists from my iMac?
    Thanks in advance!

The cause is likely to be a corruption of the iTunes library on the iPhone.  The neatest route is to reset the iPhone to factory condition.
The alternate is to remove the iPhone library files and force it to rebuild them - this is a little more complex but has the upside that you do not need to recreate content on the iPhone, the steps needed are:
    1. Connect iPhone, open iExplorer (or equivalent)
    2. Navigate to iPhone\Media\iTunes_Control\iTunes
    3. Delete these 3 files:
              MediaLibrary.sqllitedb
              MediaLibrary.sqllitedb-shm
              MediaLibrary.sqllitedb-wal
    4. Hard reboot the iPhone (home button + sleep/wake button, hold until you see the apple logo)
Hope that these will work for you - the simplest alternates is here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22457142#22457142

  • Document created on mac with Yosemite not appearing on iOS devices

i prepared a document on my Mac using Pages and expected to find it on my iOS devices. That  has not happened and I cannot find out why.  All software on all devices is up-to-date.

    HHi Peter,
thanks is for reply. The version of pages on my Mac is 5.5.2 (2120) and on my iOS device is 2.5.2 (1723)
As far as I can see iCloud Drive is enabled on all devices and pages is included.
I have used pages for previous documents and they have all appeared as on expects. The only thing that I can think of that has changed has been the recent updates of Yosemite and iOS.
ok I have found the problem. I stored the document in another folder on the Mac as opposed to iCloud Drive. I was assuming that any document created in Pages would automatically appear in drive. Now that I have moved it all is well.
THanks for your interest and help,

  • ICal Shared Not Appearing on iOS Devices But Do In Macs' iCals

I am running Mountain Lion, but this issue was also happening in Lion. As a former Apple Specialist who specialized in iCloud, I've stumped myself and several AppleCare reps. They have forwarded this on to the engineers.
I have three calendars that I share from iCal to my family's iOS devices and Macs. The calendars are updating fine on all Macs, but are not updating on any iOS devices. They used to update slower, but it's gone to nothing.
I've tried everything under the sun including:
    1. Turning iCloud on and off on each device AND on my Mac.
    2. Restoring the iPhones as new phones
    3. Exporting the calendar, importing it as a new calender and sharing it. Still doesn't update after the initial setup.
    4. Quitting the Calendar on the iOS device and reopening it and restarting the iPhone.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I've totally stumped Apple. And remember Steve said, "It just works." It's not.

    Colleen,
Considering your expertise, and all the resources you have accessed, I am hesitant to offer suggestions.

  • Calendar is not synching with iOS devices

The calendar app on my home-based iMac is not synching-up with my iPhone/Pad. Save for one or two random events, almost nothing shows up on my mobile calendars. In fact, my iMac's app has like 15 categorized calendars whereas the iOS app has only the generic five categories that I don't know where they came from.
Oddly, on my iMac app, the side column that lists those 15 categories has the heading "iCloud" and then below that it has the heading, again, "iCloud" and below that are those five that DO show up on my iOS apps. Also below that is another heading "US Holidays" and "Birthdays" neither of which I actively generated.
Now, out of all these discrete calendars (well over 20 at this point) only three of them have, to their right, a mystery icon resembling the sound waves of a WiFi connection which I take to mean these are synched wirelessly but it's not consistent with those calendars which do show up on my iOS. It's like it's completely random.
I have no idea what's going on. All setting seem to be in order. All software is uptodate. All the other apps I have set to synch are doing so, e.g. Contacts, etc.
    Any suggestions?
    alan b

    That's just ridiculous.
I just want the iPhone to sync with my iMac after I've been out. And I want my iMac to sync with my iPhone after I've been at my desk.
It was fine before the update to Mavericks.
    Please fix this Apple!
I don't use iCloud. I don't need to. And it feels like I'm being forced to use it.
Maybe I should switch to Windows.

  • Calendar event notes entered in IOS do not sync to exchange

I have a user who just upgraded to an iphone 6.  When he creates a calendar entry in Outlook, (using exchange with ActiveSync) the entry shows on his iphone.  If he creates an entry on his iphone and fills in the Title, Location, and the Notes within that event, and saves it (press Done), the notes do not sync to Outlook but the event (date, time, title, location) does.
    - we have removed the calendar and re-added it.  not fixed.
    - we have double-checked the username/e-mail to ensure it is entered exactly as it appears in exchange (all lower case letters)
    - we have confirmed his exchange settings are the same as users who have this working for them.
This was working correctly with his 4s a couple days ago.

    Afternoon All,
This seemed to start on the 23rd Sept but I didn't raise it with apple support (8th Oct) since I thought it was just me.
I tried a lot more steps than listed above to try and sort this one and on different devices too (iPad Mini, Air, 4s, 5s, 5, Exchange 2003, 2010, 2013, Server 2008 R2 & 2012/2012R2 just for kicks) with no effect whatsoever.
After going through enough web-chat / phone eventually they wanted to charge to speak to enterprise support as Exchange Activesync is an enterprise product.
    Still not working in 8.1.1.
    Works fine on iOS 7
I've given up adding calendar notes on the iOS devices, even with the workaround it's a pain!
